Did you buy Eurail pass or individual train tickets to travel from city to city?
I bought individual tickets to travel between cities and a weekly pass for Vienna.
The daily bus trips to Hallstatt and lakes bought at station or used app?
You can buy them from the ticket machine at any train station. The machines accept Apple Pay too.
@WandererBell You mentioned some hotels give transportation passes? Which cities? How many days must stay at hotel to get passes?
Thats in Salzkammergut region in Austria and Berchtesgaden region in Germany. I am not sure if they offer it in all seasons.
