    Forrest Gauder is co-founder and owner of Sun Roots Farm in Covelo, California. Raised in the isolated mountains on an off-grid homestead and apple orchard, his upbringing consisted of hard work and dedication to living off the land. As a generational farmer, Forrest has over 20 years experience in cannabis cultivation and breeding. Mastering in specialized artisanal strains and the perfect cure, his end results contain exclusive attributes, high terpene profiles, and strong localized genetics in mind.
    Sunshine Johnston farms cannabis on the banks of the Eel River in redwood terroir in Humboldt County. Her philosophy is nature grows perfect cannabis and grows in a natural way by not adding fertilizer to the field and dry farming. She is the host of Ganja TREE, Talk Radio for the Emerald Empire, and covers all things cannabis the first Sunday of the month from 1:30-3pm on KMUD community radio.
    Jesse Dodd is the creator of Biovortex, a living conceptual art piece, utilizing the mediums of gardening, soil building, breeding, photography, writing, imagination, social media, conversions and presentations, with the goal of influencing the cannabis industry in the direction of a profitable and environmentally regenerative future. He is the co-creator of the Regenerative Cannabis Farm Award and serves as VP on the board of The Open Cannabis project and is a member the technical advisory committee for the Resource Innovation Institute.

    *🌱 This was brilliant!! I'm so impressed to see so many Oregon seed-poppers featured on this panel. Grow from seed, clones don't deliver like seed-popped plants.* 😎

      @Real Donald Trump
      *Not sure why you assume I've never cloned anything myself. I worked at a 🌱 clone factory for 2 years, we grew 2nd gen mothers to produce 3rd gen clones from which we produced thousands of healthy clones for sale to legal farms. Trust me, I know how to fvcking clone marijuana, probably better than you. However, if you knew anything about growing marijuana from seed stock of any gen, you'd absolutely know there are differences between seeded plants and clones. Now that I'm into creating stable genetics from seed, my latest strain "Gurrrrrl Powa!" is in its 2nd germination 🌱 I've already sold the first batch of seed popped teens to a legal farm. "Gurrrrrl Powa!" is a potent superseed hybrid enhanced by 4 × 4 crossing of the following tested lineage: Blue Dream, Northern Lights, AK-77V, Budzilla BLT, from a 2nd gen double backcross of NYC Diesel and Panama Red. All of my products are OMRI-certified organic hydrogrown marijuana and only available at finer cannabis dispensaries in and around the Los Angeles and San Francisco area.* 🌿🌿

      Only if you get sick diseased clones from someone else vs creating via breeding your own strain, having a mum and cloneing yourself. As for the variances these guys are still rolling the dice.

    Our community must come together beyond capital. That is where we failed in the past. From '96, capital should have stayed within 'collectives'.

    The question becomes what are you looking for? Are those traits dominant or recessive? the recessive traits may take many generations to bring it out, let alone the 100k's of varieties of expressions among f1 and thousands more in f2 to find different traits/expressions you are looking for.

    Does Chef Boy R D share his formula?
    Does Bush's Baked Beans share their "secret" recipe?
    Prohibition states hasn't gotten their chance to break out their "special" creations yet.
    I doubt if they're gonna "share" just yet. lol

    True f1 breeding won't develop multiple pheno types. Like the veges it should only have a few phenos and loads of vigour. Otherwise someone failed breeding the f1.
    Then it evolves from there. You can also keep hybrid vigor generational filals. Science is way ahead of Humboldt county breeders.

    • @manuelferreira4345
