Hey guys, today we will show you how to remove or replace master window switch on BMW E60 or BMW E61. We demonstrated how to remove the driver side power window switch on a 2007 BMW 530xi Touring. It should be the same for the whole 5 series generation from 2003 to 2009.
Unfortunately, you will have to remove the door panel in order to remove the master window switch. Make sure you disconnect the battery because there is a side airbag in the door panel.

Dont get why you cant just pryce the plastic trim off off and just replace the switch that seems spp long taking pff battery door cars odd unplugging

For those that couldn’t fix the issue with a new master switch or fuse.
what really did it for me: The door and harness connects to the body through a plug, this plugs gets corroded and some pins inside will break off. In my case the pins to the Wires (Blue-Red-yello dot, White-Blue and Brown-Green) broke off, bypassing those wires did it for me.
on the passenger side the wires that needed repairing was Blue-Red-Yellow dot and White-Blue.
complete functionality restored.

Why did you change it? What was the problem? I have an issue that I can't regulate passenger side windows from master switch but those windows work then I use passenger switches. Could it be the issue with master switch?

@@qenzxy Yes...I have remove the master switch and cleaned it with alcohol and it worked!

@@rikzzrikesh8804did you have problem with the driver switches not working? Like mine the little green indicator sometimes wont be on thats on the switch itself. Then my driver window wont work or all the other ones but they will on the other doors. But yeah driver window will definitely not move at times when the green light isn’t illuminated
