    You can say what you want about Tebow's ability
    But you can't deny that this story was one of the most incredible and exciting in the last few years in the NFL.
    "Tebow Time" is, essentially, what football is ALL about...

    I'll never forget that playoff game against the Steelers. The most average and overachieving quarterback of all time beating the team I hated more than any team ever (at that point.) Tebow was so awesome that year. Just seeing a guy who shouldn't be in the NFL following his dreams and being successful. It's the ultimate success story.

  • @Keralapadam

    I am not trying to be religious....but i think God really helped him that season and be a successful qb. You don't need really anyone with you when god is with you. #truth

    • @Keralapadam
      @Keralapadam 10 лет назад +2

      it is not just about football. it is about a person who is playing football. if you watch the video. His prayers, belief and never quit attitude really helped him that season. Even though media would never say god helped tebow, i would say he was there with him and helped him when he really needed it And that is all you need. Amen. #truthagain

    • @aznsbd
      @aznsbd 8 лет назад +4

      1 less superbowl. They won one last year and I don't know how much Peyton had to do with it? One could argue that Tebow or Osweiler could have done as good a job as Peyton did on his last legs.

    • @jamesgreen3308
      @jamesgreen3308 7 лет назад

      Tebow could not have. Os maybe but I don't know that he could have won that title game against the Pats. A lot of players that came to Denver would not have come if Peyton wasn't there though. He created a new winning culture in Denver. I get that they're the winningest NFL team since the merger, but they had kind of fallen off until John Elway took over as GM.

    • @aznsbd
      @aznsbd 7 лет назад +3

      Tebow would have at least been a better starter than Osweiler. Look what he has done with Houston. Tebow would thrive with that defense and those weapons on offense.

    If I was John Elway, I would’ve kept Tebow but still signed Peyton. I would have him develop under Peyton and learn what it takes to be a quality quarterback in the NFL. As a diehard Bronco fan, I have to say that would’ve been a lot better than having the garbage quarterbacks we have/has now. I like Case Keenum, but he’s not a long term solution. We would’ve needed someone who can play for much long than Case will.

      im not sure how their actual conversation went down, but they wanted that peyton fandom. and prob didnt want people talking about tebow while one of the better quarterbacks in recent history was available. its really fucking weird though how every thing played out. tebow wasnt mechanically sound, but he fucking made it work. peyton had the best mechanics of any quarterback in ages, but barely got his superbowl win on his worst season since his rookie year.

    Tebow had great arm strength and was athletic as hell.. he just had bad throwing form and was primarily a running qb in college.. if he would have stayed in the line up when Peyton came he probably could have learned a thing or two from Peyton who is one of the best passing qb of all time and knows how to throw a proper pass or two.. might have had a solid qb.. who knows tho just a thought.. didn’t really enjoy how everybody bashed his faith either but loved how he stuck true to his beliefs and faith and curbed the haters and doubters.. cool stuff 💯🙏🏽😇

    My favorite football player of all time. Way better thrower than given credit(didn't say great thrower but ue gets no credit where it is due in terms of throwing). I heard he has really improved after working with Tom House. I hope he gets a chance amd i think he will. As a Jets, I hate that they ruined his career. Not saying he should have started right away but he should have started over greg McElroy(who is retired) after Sanchez got benched. If I weren't a Jets fan I would hate the Jets for what they did to his career. Thoughts?

    I really don't care of somebody you hate me. But I am a big Tim Tebow fan. John Elway had a scapegoat to finally get what he wanted and it wasn't Tim Tebow. I think he could've learned more under Peyton Manning. And once Peyton Manning retired, then Tim Tebow could've taken over the starting job. In the short time that he was with Denver he brought them to the first playoff round. After that John Elway lost interest in him.

    Great response jbentley8383 ! Tim Tebow is a far better QB than he will ever get credit for. The Patriots messed up as Tom "The Golden Boy" Brady Could have, Should have, and WOULD have been the best tutor Tim needed (and yes, all he needs is a chance and somebody that is a really good QB coach, (like Urban Meyer??)). NO, Tim Tebow is not anywhere near that level, but I dare anyone out there to do THIS little homework assignment....Compare Tim's college career stats to the likes of Joe Montana, Dan Marino, Troy Aikman, Terry Bradshaw, let's even go present day with Aaron Rogers, Matt Ryan, Tom Brady, RGIII, Michael Vick, and any of a handful of so called "Great" QB's. How many of them won their very first Playoff Game? How many of them when first drafted into the NFL had Tim's record -- and keep in mind, he's NEVER been given anywhere near the chance (or chances) any of them were. No, the NFL would much rather have rapists, drunkards, domestic violence offenders, drug abusers, even addicts, and egotistical asshole's (Johnny Manziel anyone???), than someone with GOD Given Talent and a “Do whatever it takes to win” spirit and attitude that just needs some honing and care. It's truly an AMERICAN Shame, not just the NFL, which “WE THE PEOPLE” let them get away with this crap by supporting the “Elite Athletes” despite their sinful and socially disgraceful habits. Why, for instance, is the “Great” Ben Roethlisberger still playing after “proven” charges of sexual assault? - BECAUSE, these charges were very discretely and quietly swept under the rug. Corrupted victims “paid-off” with NFL money if they simply “looked past” the episode and “dropped charges”. Maybe, in a way, it's a good thing Tim Tebow is not an "NFL Star". I for one would hate to see him become corrupted by the “NFL System”. Tim Tebow is a far better man than 90% of the “Sunday Hero’s” we stand and cheer for every week in the NFL. You know, maybe he should consider becoming a NASCAR Driver, where GOD is still celebrated and recognized every Sunday with a very public and TELEVISED PRAYER. I know his kneeling down on one knee during that prayer before every race would be applauded and NOT CRITICIZED.

I did not follow Tebow's college career, in fact, I thought Pete Carroll's juggernaut USC team with Clay Matthews, Cushing, Malouga, Sanchez and the rest of them were the best team that year, not Florida and definitely not Oklahoma.

Tebow made that program worthy of the post season and was chipped out by a half wit shit for brains coach. Fox rode Manning to a SB and after Manning was gone Fox was lost and eventually gone. Had Tebow sat behind Manning and took over they wouldn't be on their 12th QB since Manning retired.
