Hi Kee, I've had my RevAir for about a month. I really like it! I had to get used to using it and get my technique down. But it's great. I think it's less damaging to your hair. It doesn't stress the hair. And it doesn't use as much heat as a regular blow dryer. But the hair still gets straight. I like that you can even stretch the hair with cool air if you like. I use mine to stretch my hair for a twist out. My hair is past shoulder length. It elongates my curls. If not, it would look like a shorter natural from the shrinkage. Yes, it is pricey. But it's an investment. I also got a discount before I purchased it.
I love that for you! Yes, all of this! The less damage and less stress part is my favorite part about the dryer! Watch how much longer and healthier you hair gets by eliminating the aggressive action of the traditional blow dryer!
I brought this dryer for my teenage daughter as a Christmas present. She’s into doing and taking care of her hair. This product is a game changer. She has a lot of thick hair and she’s able to dry it in 30 minutes. This is an AMAZING product🤩 especially if you have a lot of hair.
I love what you said about making a client feel safe in your chair. I remember growing up going to salons and feeling like i couldn't speak up or myself to whoever was doing my hair. It took me so long to be able to say what I wanted and stop a stylist when I felt like they were not listening to what I wanted. I'm glad you cared for and respected this young lady enough to not cut more than what she wanted.
Exactly!! It's so important! At the end of the day, it takes a lot for a person to even come to you in the first place especially when their hair is damaged. So you don't want to stress them out. If they aren't ready, they aren't ready. 💜✨️
@@DeeperThanHairTv, Agreed! I hate being dismissed with, “It’ll grow back.” In the meantime, I gotta walk around with shattered confidence and a look I hate.
You honoring her wishes are a sign or respect for her, yourself and her boundaries. We need to see more of this and she looks lovely. You'll have her back in your chair no problem! I hope to see her again!
Combining both this subject and the topic of braids, one of the last times I had my hair braided, my mom and I had made a trip to a different state to a stylist my mom always came back looking amazing after visiting. I spent extra money to get human hair for this trip and we both settled on getting tree braids (I'm sure those are out of style now, I don't know...I stopped keeping up with braid styles, lol). There were only two stylists there and my mom and I were the next ones up after the initial person there. They started on both of us at the same time. However, my mom failed to warn me that I would actually be participating in the process. Maybe she didn't think things would get as bad as they got. Each woman asked us to hold onto our hair and be the ones to peel off the strands and pass them to them, claiming this would be faster. This hair was very silky and difficult to keep my grip on, making the ends uneven. So many times, the woman my hair would click her teeth, of course speak in the mother-tongue of the country she was from (this has really made me wary of stylists not born and raised in America, if being very honest), then forcefully readjust my hand for how she wanted me to hold it, or she had to make the strands of hair smaller. I was already nearly in tears for feeling like such a failure. I don't put a lot of stock into my appearance in general, and even as a young adult at the time, it's rare for me to care about wanting to look more than passable. But it used to be something I also lamented about myself. Why wasn't I "like other girls" who liked girly things? Would other young women know how to hold that hair? I had NEVER in all my years had to participate except to move my head depending on the side or angle being worked on, had I just been getting lucky to have not encountered a stylist like this? I didn't even look at myself in the mirror at the shop once done. We paid and then my mom let out a tirade in the car. She'd held her tongue for my sake to still have my hair done. We stopped somewhere else, a restaurant or gas station or something, and I was then able to look at myself in the bathroom. The hair was supposed to be silky and wavy but because the hair hadn't been pulled off in even strands, it all looked puffy. Money frickin wasted. That woman had put her so-called "faster method" far and above the comfort of the client. She probably saw it as, "It's her hair, if she doesn't do this right, that's on her", which is such a terrible attitude to ever have as a stylist. Speed be damned, when you see this is something new and your client isn't comfortable with it, it's time to take over. And she's the stylist, she's been trained on handling the hair! It's like going to a restaurant and the chef calls you to the back to have you help make your meal. The hell kind of sense does that make? I never went back to that shop again and I hope at some point, someone else read them the riot act about their unprofessional and unrealistic expectations of the client. This is also why I love this channel. It's restored my faith that there ARE caring stylists out there, who don't put rushing as more important than their client's comfort. Thank you so much.
My hair does well with braids, especially if I’m oiling my hair and scalp during the time they’re installed. But I know some people who hair just can’t handle the tension and being put up for long periods of time. People need to start listening to their hair instead of following what someone else is doing and expecting the same results. Our hair is all different because it’s not just based off your hair type/curl pattern. Your diet, dna, skin type, etc. will play a huge role on how your hair is.
That's it. I use my anti itch twice a week and oil and moisturize my hair the same for as long as I keep the braids in. When my hair is braided I keep up with my moisture routine way better
I’ve never had an issue with braids but I only keep them in a max of 3 weeks but I always grease my scalp with blue magic grease and coat the strands of my hair with blue magic as well and my hair stays moisturized. But recently I want to get in the habit of not depending on any type of extensions and learn to deal with my own hair.
The energy of this whole channel community is so warm. SUCH a great change from so much of what's out in the world. Thank you, all, for the energy boost.
Braid Experience: When I first went natural, {in 1999} I went to a African Hairbraiding Shop on 125th St. in Harlem. After doing my thick, long natural hair the braider told me "Don't come back until you perm your hair." I haven't had my hair professionally braided since, but I am still 100% Natural. P.S. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, you and all you do, Thank you Sistar!
Good for you! Who the hell tells someone that about their hair? Why is this hatred for a trait that is present in so many black people across the diaspora so common place? I hear so much of the same experience from black Americans about African braiders. Sad to see that some black people still have this insistent need/belief that afro textured hair has to be permed. I’m sure your hair loves that you didn’t go back!! It didn’t need that hatred for it anyways.
About 6 months ago, I went to an African salon to get cornrows....they told me only braids because my hair was too short. Another lady walks in and gets cornrows. We had the same length.....only difference was her hair was straightened 🫠
I too have long natural (type 4) hair and had someone tell me that about my hair as well when I got Senegalese twists. She said “You need to perm this mess”. Smh… She never saw my $$ again.
@KinkssNCoilss 😮 wow that's insane! I was told something similar when I was a teen, but it wasn't that rude and degrading. I've noticed the "motherland" folks are ironically the worst when it comes to hair care and maintenance 🙆🏾♀️
I wear braids primarily and find I retain more length during the times my hair braided. I do have “rules/regimen”: 1) Soak braiding hair in apple cider vinegar and water, deep condition it and use a leave in conditioner 2) Braids are NEVER, NEVER done tightly. If they’re done too tightly, I’ll go back to the salon and have them redone 3) Make sure the my natural hair in my temple region is sectioned larger 4) Wash and moisturize my hair while braided 5) Wear the style no longer than 5 weeks I rarely experience breakage.
I do the same, but after the vinegar, I use clarifying shampoo before conditioning. Once braids are in, I oil my scalp regularly and spray the braids with a conditioning mist down to where my natural hair ends every couple days to keep it moisturized.
I’ve used RevAir a few years now and it’s the truth!!! Never using another dryer again. I’m natural, so I love that it’s way less heat and tugging on my strands.
I’m a white woman with fine straight hair and I absolutely love your videos! They’re so well put together and educational. I love learning about Afro hair and how y’all ladies take care of your crowns 👑
@@EH23831 Type 4a,b, and c hair doesn't only equate to thick hair, it can also be thin, or medium density (thickness). We don't have 5x times the hair that white ppl have, (the thickness or lack there of) of one's hair is determined by the overall hair strands on one's head; nor does straight/ or wavy hair only equate to being fine. Fine, medium or course hair pertains to the actual circumference of the individual hair stands, not just specifically to type 4 hair (aka Afro hair) because Afro hair can also be fine, and medium.
@@goldenb.afri-n.scotian5513 ok - but I’m yet to see a client in these videos that doesn’t have thick hair… that’s what I was referring to. Have a nice day 😊
You said a whole thing… I know she needed more off but we talked about it and this what we came up with… Being safe in the chair means she will come back!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. You can always cut it over multiple appointments and it still lets you care for her hair and let her make peace with needing more off. 💙
Appreciate you 💕The amount of times I've gotten the side eye for saying that braids don't work for me is insane. Some of us can't do braids even if we want to, my scalp is sensitive af I'm not willing to put my scalp at risk just so ppl can feel better about whats on my head.
The client's little face she was so happy. I would love to see you do a comparison between drying with revair and your old hairdryer. I think the old hairdryer makes the hair flow better and looks more shiny.
I'll def do that! And agreed.the RevAir is perfect for stretching especially for natural styles. Also for children and people who have a hard time drying their hair.
It flows better with the traditional drying method because the Revair doesn't get the roots as good. If they could fix that part it would be 100% BOMB! It's about 95% bomb as is.
@cfoster6804 It actually can get the roots too. A hairstylist named Tamika has some vids on it but move the Revair side by side (not up and down) at the roots and the roots will be stretched nicely. I tried it and it worked great
When I first watched your channel 2 years ago, I thought it was only for salon stylists. I kept watching because its for everyone. There's so much we can learn about our hair whether we're professionals or not. Thank you. Heading over to your magazine right now.
Yes...get the RevAir! It is an investment. I spilt the cost of it with my sister. We love it! It dried our wet curly hair quickly without much heat. It gave our hair shine without using any hair products. We also noticed our hairstyles lasted longer. My mom borrowed it for her thin 4C hair and she loved it cause it didn't cause much hair breakage. I had my hairstylist at the salon try it and everyone there was amazed.
I love how respectful and understanding you are with your clients. I also appreciate the fact that I can watch your videos and learn something new as well. God bless you for all you do. ❤🙏🏾
I was in TEARS watching your video. My last two experiences with a hair dresser have been AWFUL 😢 you are a blessing to the natural hair community ... You listen and respect you clients 😢❤❤❤❤ thank you!!!!
I love that you emphasize trust. It was really really hard for me to learn how to speak up for what I wanted after years of hairstylists just slicing off all the "bad stuff" and that would sometimes be 6 inches! (It was not all "Bad." I know what my splits look like.) The amount of tears I shed. I love that your chair is like a bird nest - warm and safe.
I know exactly what you mean. When I was 15, my hair was nearly waist length; it was a little more than halfway down back. The woman said she was only going to cut the dead ends. When I left, my hair was shoulder length.
I have hair almost identical to your client and I LOVE my RevAir! It was the best purchase of 2022 for my hair! Actually wish I would have done it sooner. Please note your hair won't be bone straight but it will be a great starting place for most hairstyles. Thank you for the protective hair tips. This information is always a great refresher!
I started wearing braids religiously when I was in high school. I think the first time I started wearing my natural hair was during my senior year 😳 But girl, let me tell you my hair was the longest and healthiest it ever was!! My edges didn't even thin... I mostly wear twists now, or when I'm in the mood I'll throw on a wig.
I can remember getting braids with synthetic hair and my scalp being itchy and red right after installing my braids. I also remember my hair feeling "coated" and I didn't think it was necessarily from the dirt or product build-up. From the information you have shared, I believe I may been experiencing an allergic reaction to the hair. I have been natural since 2010 having this information about synthetic hair would have been invaluable to my natural hair journey. Thank you so much for the eduction you offer through your videos!
So soothing to watch proper care being taken to any part of the body, but especially hair, the skill and study and work that goes into the best help and maintenance is really quite beautiful. The fact that you really take care of your clients shines through your work.
I took a quick look at the digital version of the magazine and I love it!!!! Definitely need a hard copy because the images are beautiful. Top notch photography, and I love the personal story you shared in the editor’s note. Well done, Kee!! 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽
I am sooo happy you made this video! I usually keep my hair braided so I’m not bothering it so much. But recently I’ve decided I need to relax on the braids, edges are thin enough lol so I’ve been wearing a kinky curly v wig I love. I’ve learned so much about hair care by watching your videos so thank you so much for sharing!! 🎉all your clients hair always comes out brilliant just as hers!
I always monitor my edges as well. I try to do a month break from braids to rejuvenate my edges and give my scalp and neck a rest. I try to monitor my edges so I can decide when they need a little extra care. Did this the past month in fact and they picked packed up so heading back to the braids because I tend to not be as good on the hair moisture outside of the braids
@@ForbsieLaLa Same lol I literally have only become truly interested in implementing a hair regime since I’ve been watching Kee! She has truly inspired me. I haven’t had my braids in a few months now and though I miss them I am too excited about this new hair journey I am on!
I wish I had a stylist like you growing up!! I remember getting my hair at a salon my freshman year and the lady cut my hair above shoulder length from mid-back length. I went to school on my Monday and everyone was asking me what happened to all my hair. I felt like I couldn’t tell her I wasn’t comfortable with her cutting so much off in my first visit with her. She kept saying she needed to cut it even so it’ll grow back fuller and healthier. I never went back after that. 🤦🏽♀️ High school is already hard because you’re so worried about superficial things because that’s all that matters to you during that time.
My hair flourished with braids. But go to one person for my braids. She's a natural hair stylist so she takes extra care when braiding including making sure my ends are trimmed and the hair and scalp were well conditioned and treated. I also use a daily braid maintenance spray the kept my hair moisturized. I also didn't keep my braids past 8 weeks. We typically braided every 6 weeks. I was working out daily and sweat in my head so braids were my solution to stay looking cute. 😊
I’ve finally learned how to properly care for my hair in braids. What I’ve found is that I didn’t know how to properly remove them and detangle my hair without causing unnecessary breakage. I’ve learned how to gently remove those knots and build up. Since I have finally figured that part out, I have been able to successfully retaining length, which is something that I couldn’t figure out for the longest. Due to that, previously I was avoiding braids for years because I didn’t think they benefited my hair at all.
I loved her smile at the end. Girl you are so blessed in how you listen to your clients but still offer them guidance on their journey to healthy hair. Keep those positive affirmations coming; they are so inspirational. Blessings and continued success as always xxx
I once had micro-braids done for a photo shoot, it took 6 hours and two people. We did the shoot but my head was on fire and I had a headache for two days. I finally had to have them removed and 20 years later I have never done them again. I did do braids for weaves and did not have any issue. I would love to do braids for trips but nah!
Braids work great for me. I do medium sized braids or twists with hair added or crochet. I soak the synthetic hair in acv and water. On wash day I use diluted shampoo and then my final rinse is diluted acv. I use a mix of George's aloe Vera juice paired with a liquid leave in ( i like Alikay Naturals and Naturelle Grow)on my hair 3-4 times a week and oil at least 1-2 times a week. I use the same leave in mixture when I take down braids and detangle my hair. I don't do back to back braids either. I wait a few weeks or months before another install.
I have a RevAir and I absolutely love it. Worth every red cent. I do my hair in smaller subsections than what is shown here and that thing gets my hair STRAIGHT!
I just wanted to say I don’t know what you might be going through Or what situation you’re in right now but I no god is there for you and he loves you God bless everyone who came across.🇧🇸❤️
I braid hair and what I try to do for my clients is, wash put a thicker/ heavier leave in conditioner and after I blow dry I add some oil to their ends or grease and that helps to seal the ends. I noticed that this is helping with their ends not being brittle and dry when they take the protective style down.
Kee, I know your a busy woman and I can’t ask for much, but I’d love to see any updates of clients you’ve worked with previously and see how their hair is thriving. Your work is amazing. Can’t wait to subscribe to the magazine! It’s giving sophisticated black hair.
All I have to say is that you are the best Hair Stylist on RUclips. Your videos are so encouraging. I love the fact that you said you want your clients to feel safe when doing their hair. You carefully dry and silk press each one of your clients hair so gently. I love that. 💕
Wow! That's exactly the problem that I had. And my hair would fall off after braids. A lot would break off. Very itchy to the point I was asking myself if I was allergic to the synthetic hair. I stop a few months ago and my hair is doing way better! I might try the hypoallergenic braids tho because I do love braided, protective hairstyles😊
Perfectly said❤ I tell my daughter these things everyday since birth. She watched this video with me and agreed with every word and she 11. We have to teach them it’s about loving yourself 1st ❤
Wore braids for several years, the first time, my hair was dry and brittle. My hairdresser suggested I use the "old school" Stay So Fro oil sheen and spray my scalp and hair from root to tip once a week for the duration of the braids. Literally some of the best hair advice to date. Kept my length, length increased and hair remained healthy.
I noticed in my late teens that my hair hated braids. I’ve always told people that no matter how well I moisturized my hair prior to, my hair would just break off with braids. People have always looked at me crazy lol. I also think the synthetic chemicals were causing a reaction on my scalp as well. I haven’t had braids in a good 8+ years. I prolly will only get them in the future for a trip somewhere tropical. But would take it out as soon as I get home lol
I am so glad I clicked on this. I have been strugging with itchy scalp with braids and this will help the hair. I actually do really well with braids. It has really helped my roots grow in and full ❤
I've experienced an allergic kind of reaction to synthetic fibers, specifically nylon it seems, even in clothes. Which resulted in bruising or abrasion marks at the seam areas. My hair has never done well with synthetic braids either. The fiber seems to cut my hair off almost like a scissor or razor.
Bought this and it does work. It will stretch your hair, but it can never stretch your hair the way a blow dryer and a round brush can do. This is if you have a curl pattern tighter than 4a. So 4b and 4c, just stick with blow dryer and round brush.
Ahhh you understand about the way hair grows! This is how my hair grows too. Bobs are not for me. I have had numerous stylists tell me I need a straight cut, which is a huge nope for me. I like my hair cut in a slight v shape. Her hair looks beautiful! I just love your work, knowledge, and this channel ❤
Happy Anniversary to Deeper Than Hair 🎉 Thank you for teaching me so much about my hair. I can't wait to read the magazine. I remember Hype Hair magazine and quite a few others, so it's time for a new one. I definitely do an acv cleanse on that Hair, if I don't, my scalp will itch so bad and feel like it's raw
Hi from the UK 😘 I don’t have Afro hair but my gosh I love your channel. Every single aspect is relaxing, uplifting, positive and that’s not even starting on your brilliant talent as a hairdresser. I can’t go to sleep anymore without watching your videos 🙈 ❤
i have watched a lot of professional hairstylist on you tube and your channel is the only one i really truly enjoy. What i love about your channel is the dignity and respect that you show your clients and your viewers. I attended "Beauty School" as it was called years ago, and although i'm not a practicing hair professional, i recognize that you're are very good at what you do. I like your advice regarding hair care.👍
My hair was exactly like this when I took it out of Braids. Braids never really helped me to grow out my hair. I had a lot of breakage and bald spots on my edges so I stopped. Now I’m a straight natural and my hair routine helps me a lot to retain length.
I experienced the itching too so I almost never had my hair done but ever since knotless braids became a thing and I tried it for the first time I have been more enthusiastic to get braids. Plus knotless braids have been kinder to my edges and they fall much less.
I love that you stuck to what you and the client agreed on, because even if the client NEEDS all their hair cut off, if that's not what they want then they should get what they want. Its just a hair cut after all.
Okay now it makes sense why I itch badly everytime I get braids. Been off them for a while and I've never been more happy. Though my hair did grow while I had braids installed but not as much as with my hair out of braids,my hair is more healthy now and my edges are recovering ❤️
I love the quote. Me first and then for others. I heard a lot about the Rev Air. I wash the hair before I put it in my head. Congratulations ♥️ on the 2 quarter magazine. She looks beautiful ❤😊
I definitely don't have this texture of hair, but for some reason I'm obsessed with watching it be styled. I think it's because it's such a transformation & so satisfying! It looks so cute💜🙏
I love your videos so much! I am natural, but wanted a change for a bit.The last time I had braids, they were super tight and heavy and I also had two people working on my head. I was scared to say anything to them even though I'm an adult now 😔..I managed to grow my edges and hairline back (It took so much of my hair out). I know what mistakes were made, I probably won't ever get braids again, though. Wish I could sit in your chair one day! I would love to show everyone a hairtype with significant issues that I'm sure alot of people can really relate to. I had dreadlocks, but combed out them a few years back and have an established hair routine, but my edges have always been quite thin. I am so self conscious about it. Recently, I got the courage to get a super short cut and even though my problem areas show even more now I am teaching myself just to be comfortable with what I have. It isn't so bad. I love you all so much, have a great day ❤
I just got small passion twists installed yesterday and my head is a little tight, but very pretty! I plan on wearing these for at least 7 weeks. Prior to yesterday, I've never had braids, twists, locks, extensions of any kind. I've always worn my own hair, relaxed & natural so it's new! I plan on using leave-in conditioner and oils to keep the scalp moisturized.
Your videos are so calming for me, whenever I feel stressed and upset just listening to you talk is so soothing. Especially the way you really respect your clients and really care about your work. Big fan of the channel
The last time I got braids, I had an allergic reaction to the hair and I lost a patch of hair. I had a bald spot even though I took them out a few days after getting them. It was so itchy and painful. This was right before graduation and I was so upset.
This dryer looks amazing for people who use a blow dryer to straighten their hair on the regular. I’m a curly girl through and through and don’t straighten my hair often at all but I totally wanna go to a salon that uses this just so someone can use it on me once lol.

When I first started using the 3 bunch pack of X-Pression braiding hair, which is what the braided switched over to, when my hair was braided with this, my scalp was in a ITCH FIT. I couldn't sleep, I scratched all night, all day. I called the braided and she said that I was probably sensitive to the hair, and to give it a few days while oiling my scalp, and by the grace of God, in about 2 days it got easier and easier then it was better, no itching. You talk about getting close to taking down a 1 dag braid style...I was ready, but I actually kept the braids for, I wanna say...a few weeks. I vowed NO MORE OF "THAT" HAIR!

5:53 this part right here. I use to hate salons, still kinda have a linger sense of dread whenever I walk into one. I got a bad perm by a family member and my mom took me and basically walked out with a boy cut. I got bullied for being "bald" but my mom wanted me to go to a salon after my niece screwed up my hair. But honestly I just wanted to wear braids or something with extensions to give my hair time to grow out but nope. Now I do my hair and have a hard time trusting others.

Facts!
That's it. I use my anti itch twice a week and oil and moisturize my hair the same for as long as I keep the braids in. When my hair is braided I keep up with my moisture routine way better
@@ForbsieLaLa same! I actually do better when my hair is braided as well.
@@christines1821that's awesome!!!! Glad you'll be wearing your real hair out ❤. Love this!
Why is watching someone get their hair done so soothing?
Because you’re watching an amazing human being who makes a living out of showing love and compassion to others.
Sooo relaxing- it’s the music and her voice and the technique 😌
@@trenae77 I could watch ant hair video and be relaxed lol but Kee is cool

Ikr and it's especially soothing to watch people get a trim!
The energy of this whole channel community is so warm. SUCH a great change from so much of what's out in the world. Thank you, all, for the energy boost.
Thank you! It's truly a beautiful place and I appreciate you all! 💜🙏🏾
I don't even have hair but I love your channel because you are so kind to people.
Wow that’s fucking terrible 😮😮 braids were meant for our texture so saying such a thing is so ridiculous
I too have long natural (type 4) hair and had someone tell me that about my hair as well when I got Senegalese twists. She said “You need to perm this mess”. Smh…
She never saw my $$ again.
I do have “rules/regimen”:
1) Soak braiding hair in apple cider vinegar and water, deep condition it and use a leave in conditioner
2) Braids are NEVER, NEVER done tightly. If they’re done too tightly, I’ll go back to the salon and have them redone
3) Make sure the my natural hair in my temple region is sectioned larger
4) Wash and moisturize my hair while braided
5) Wear the style no longer than 5 weeks
I rarely experience breakage.
I do the same, but after the vinegar, I use clarifying shampoo before conditioning. Once braids are in, I oil my scalp regularly and spray the braids with a conditioning mist down to where my natural hair ends every couple days to keep it moisturized.
Thanks for sharing
I saw a sustainable braiding hair brand on insta wish i could remember, no chemicals
@@ttc958 idk if you mean Latch and Hook but their braiding hair is chemical free
Im curious about the ACV... when I get braids, the salon provides the hair. Can i just spray with ACV after I take the braids out?
I’ve used RevAir a few years now and it’s the truth!!! Never using another dryer again. I’m natural, so I love that it’s way less heat and tugging on my strands.

Thanks for watching 💜💜
Crowns!! I love that❤️❤️
Same here… I love seeing their thick hair! Literally 5x the hair that I have!! 😭

@@DeeperThanHairTv Thank you
It flows better with the traditional drying method because the Revair doesn't get the roots as good. If they could fix that part it would be 100% BOMB! It's about 95% bomb as is.
@@cfoster6804 Facts!
Thank you so much was watching!!
Your client is stunning. Thank you and her for sharing her session
You are so welcome! And thank you!
Thank you for watching!

Thank you for the protective hair tips. This information is always a great refresher!
Thank you for this comment!
I started wearing braids religiously when I was in high school. I think the first time I started wearing my natural hair was during my senior year 😳
But girl, let me tell you my hair was the longest and healthiest it ever was!!
Thanks for sharing!
So soothing to watch proper care being taken to any part of the body, but especially hair, the skill and study and work that goes into the best help and maintenance is really quite beautiful. The fact that you really take care of your clients shines through your work.

Thank you, beautiful!!
@Shantell Rena I don't think that's how hair works... that stylist be trippin'
Same thing here sis like I had to read the name on the comment bc I'm like did I write this 😢
My hair flourished with braids.
I love your videos so much that I find myself talking about them to strangers! You are such a beautiful soul, inside and out!
I love how she’s so honest and puts so much care into people hair!
I loved her smile at the end. Girl you are so blessed in how you listen to your clients but still offer them guidance on their journey to healthy hair. Keep those positive affirmations coming; they are so inspirational. Blessings and continued success as always xxx
Thank you so much 💜

@@DeeperThanHairTv We got you Sis.
Glad to see you back! I’ve wondered how this would work with my type of hair!
Hope you like it! It does well with all textures!
I wait a few weeks or months before another install.
hey Boo, glad to see you back. I just love your channel.❤

I braid hair and what I try to do for my clients is, wash put a thicker/ heavier leave in conditioner and after I blow dry I add some oil to their ends or grease and that helps to seal the ends. I noticed that this is helping with their ends not being brittle and dry when they take the protective style down.
Thanks for sharing!!

All I have to say is that you are the best Hair Stylist on RUclips. Your videos are so encouraging. I love the fact that you said you want your clients to feel safe when doing their hair. You carefully dry and silk press each one of your clients hair so gently. I love that. 💕
I appreciate that 🥰✨️

Yes, say it a lil louder for the people in the back!!!!!!!!! ❤❤
I’m so lost on how to do my daughters curly hair. No one else in my fam has it. I’ve gotten some good tips here. Thank you. ❤
I love your kind spirit and honesty around doing better for our hair
I noticed in my late teens that my hair hated braids. I’ve always told people that no matter how well I moisturized my hair prior to, my hair would just break off with braids. People have always looked at me crazy lol.
I also think the synthetic chemicals were causing a reaction on my scalp as well.
I haven’t had braids in a good 8+ years. I prolly will only get them in the future for a trip somewhere tropical. But would take it out as soon as I get home lol
Yup, you know now how to articulate what was going on. People who don't go through it don't understand!
I’m in the same boat. I got my hair back to health took a break for two yrs got them once and got back to where I started lol I’m good on braids.
Same here
I am so glad I clicked on this.
Yup! Sounds about right!
I love this comment!
Happy Anniversary to Deeper Than Hair 🎉
Thank you for teaching me so much about my hair. I can't wait to read the magazine. I remember Hype Hair magazine and quite a few others, so it's time for a new one. I definitely do an acv cleanse on that Hair, if I don't, my scalp will itch so bad and feel like it's raw

I really like how you explain to us about hair thank you for all you do ❤

I will wait for Black Friday. 10% won't make a dent in that insane car note price for a dryer unfortunately 😅
what a comment we have braided our hair from the beginning of time, what damages hair is heat!
Okay now it makes sense why I itch badly everytime I get braids. Been off them for a while and I've never been more happy.
Though my hair did grow while I had braids installed but not as much as with my hair out of braids,my hair is more healthy now and my edges are recovering ❤️
I'm glad to hear that!

Heeey! I was working on the magazine but I'm back!
I'm glad your back!!

The last time I got braids, I had an allergic reaction to the hair and I lost a patch of hair. I had a bald spot even though I took them out a few days after getting them. It was so itchy and painful. This was right before graduation and I was so upset.
I'm convinced they put new chemical on the hair. Too many people saying it inches bad now (including me) where it never itched before
goodness gracious
It looks amazing you can't even tell that it has split endz as per usual once you're done styling it opposed to what most people try to tell you
This dryer looks amazing for people who use a blow dryer to straighten their hair on the regular.

Yea X-Pressions hair wears me out too!
