You use the word “adorned” quite incorrectly several times in this video. You seem to be using it a synonym for “wore”. A woman doesn’t “adorn” a tiara. The tiara “adorns” her, meaning it adds to her decoration. Regardless, I appreciate seeing these pieces.

It is a canned accented voice. As evidenced by pronunciation & enunciation.

A feast for the eyes. What I find sad is that in last year's coronation of King Charles III, no members of the Royal Family or the other invited royal ladies of different other monarchies wore tiaras as it would have been appropriate since what grander occasion of state could you have if not a coronation and it is the last monarchy who stages a coronation. Also there had not been a coronation in 70 years going back to the late Queen Elizabeth II coronation in 1953

We don’t know the situation or the huge number of variables at play, so I guess we’ll have to accept it as it was. I know for sure that at Queen Elizabeth’s coronation, they squeezed a huge number of people into the Abbey, but this wasn’t possible at Charles’ coronation because of modern fire codes. As a result, the peers of the realm and their wives couldn’t all be at Charles’ much smaller service to march in procession in order of precedence; since the wives were the ones who would have worn family tiaras, it’s my feeling that they decided not to have them worn at all. But, who knows? It was a beautiful service, anyway!

There were no tiaras and jewels other the King and Queen, because of the cost of living crisis, it was stripped back to the basics needed instead of all out showing their inherited jewels.

Katherine’s tiara was way too small for the momentous occasion. She should have worn a much more grandiose tiara.

The narrator was incorrect in saying she chose the ,Cartier Halo Tiara as her wedding tiara. The late Queen allows royal brides to borrow their wedding tiaras and afterwards, she would be by her discretion allow said tiara and a few others to be on lifetime loan to the royal lady in question.

Let me say that I HATE the way they wore tiaras in the 1920s--that looks so stupid with it worn on the forehead. I hope that trend never comes back! Also, Margaret was SO beautiful--the most beautiful princess ever in that family. I only wish long hair would've been in fashion during her day. I never liked the short hair they wore in the 1950s and I don't think it flattered anybody. But nothing could make young Margaret look bad, even those awful hairstyles. But it would've been nice to see her with flowing locks like Kate under those tiaras.

Тиара с большим цветным бриллиантом , желто- апельсинового цвета - так думается все камни сделаны из одного большого алмаза - багеты и центральный кристалл а тиаре , одного оттенка ))). Не обычная тиара ))

Kate's tiny tiara was a ridiculous choice. At most, it's a pretty little ornament for a dressy but ordinary evening. But with a bridal veil it was almost invisible. For an occasion as solemn as her wedding, it was totally inappropriate. I don't know where this obsession with miserabilism that has plagued the English royal family in recent years comes from. Even Charles's coronation was absolutely pitiful and mean-spirited.

I mean its not that hard to understand why they're choosing to dial it back. People have been complaining about funding the royal family's lavish lifestyle with taxpayers' money for a long time now.
I also hate that we don't get to see more of their collection though...

It was a rhetorical question, I know that's why. And on that point, I regret that they don't have the panache of Maria-Pia of Savoy, Queen of Portugal, who once replied to this kind of popular criticism: "If they want a queen, they have to pay for it!"
But I think there's also a loss of taste and knowledge of decorum. That's what struck me about Charles's coronation. An accumulation of errors of taste, one feels that the first concerned have no longer any understanding of what they should be and do.

I think it was a very appropriate choice, she wasn't a member of the aristocracy, it would've been her very first introduction to wearing a tiara. She looked beautiful and she didn't need a flashy tiara to overwhelm her face and dress.
