Opus Dei has also, been known to get lower ranking members to sign over their assets. I have wondered if the old man who Leonard Leo got the billion dollars plus donation from was Opus Dei or of sound mind.
I don't believe he was, wouldn't be surprised if Leonard did some document/will etc manipulations for the $. The guy was always few screws loose of reality to begin with & Leo worked him for years. I wouldnt put anything past him, IMHO
@@MyWalk3296 I think an argument can be leveled that cult people like to recruit people of status, wealth, talent and are willing to develop relationships of decades- waiting for a vulnerable moment- death of spouse, illness, whatever.... I heard the $1.6 billion was from a guy who had Jewish background.
Cults use technology similar to to the tech that caused Havana syndrome and can be used in extremely manipulative ways. One of the first reports on Havana syndrome stated that people could hear messages as well as the “sound”.
Steven, do you have any comments about the town of Ave Maria, FL outside of Naples, FL, started by Tom Monaghan ( founder/former owner of Dominos Pizza,) which is centered around a Catholic Church and has a University, and law school - Ave Maria University. I believe it's Opus Dei.

@@drstevenhassan Agreed. The current Pope is far better than any previous popes, however, the position of pope is inherently one of undue influence. This is a person who is apprently closest to God of all mortals. That is ripe for abuse. The entire history is built on undue influence.
