Yet again being easy indoctrinated and not looking at both sides of the coin. It's the shities vs sunnis. End of. UK never created Israel, if UK created Israel then who's the brother of ishmeal? Islam is a mere 1500y old period. Pagan Rome created Islam and Palestine. Dr Alberto Riviera exposed this after cardinal Brea showed him the manuscript to the Quran.
Horrors are the ends of all evil doers. The souls of the innocents cries out for justice to the Creator. Whether we like it or not, justice will be served one of these days in the most unexpected way. God help us all.

There's no such thing as real justice in this world or even after death. Religion only exists because people need to find answers to death, that they create an afterlife to guarantee justice and to make sure there is a place where the mysterious of life are solved. In troday's modern age, you should have moved on from superstitious thinking, primitive reliance on metaphors, such as heaven and hell, the final judgment, and into the mature realization that the five senses give you is the only reality.
Thank you to the two of you. I only learned over the past few weeks or so that this Israeli war against Palestine began 100 or so years ago, for I otherwise only learned of the 1940s. Thank you for this educational episode.
How do either of you maintain your sanity in the face of this insanity? As an American, I feel like I’m falling into a hopeless depression as it becomes increasingly clear how culpable we are in this catastrophe.
I've come to think the main problem is we don't share an accurate history. He was entirely right about it being generational at 60 years old mine was raised to think of ourselves as protectors of innocent Jews, they are all good, and especially after 9/11 Arabs Muslims are all Islamists. I struggled to understand young American Jews supporting the Palestinians until really opening myself up to a much larger narrative. My friends and family don't really have that desire, they're busy people, these are deeply held beliefs we learned in childhood that have largely gone unquestioned and been reinforced: Jews good intolerant murderous Arabs want us dead. It may require these senior leaders to die off because they refuse to hand over the reigns, and they're living longer. Biden, Netanyahu, Pelosi, Trump, Feinstein, ......
This is the Ottoman census of 1878 indicated the following demographics for the Jerusalem, Nablus, and Acre districts. Muslim - 403,795 or 85.5% Christian - 43,659 or 9.2 % Jewish - 15,001 or 3.2% Jewish (Foreign-born) - Est. 10,000 or 2.1% As you can see, most of the 3.2% Jews were new immigrants themselves. The Arab people have been in that area for hundreds of years. They migrated there peacefully and had nothing to do with expelling the “original Jews”.
@@patrickgrove3469 : If someone attacks you, then it is highly likely that you will also be reactionary. To be reactionary is to react. The only question remaining is what you react to or about. Watching this in 2024, just got his book. My heart breaks as to where the powers of the world stands on Palestine, against Palestine, not helping the Palestinian people, and now with their massacre by Israel, leaves me feeling more than disappointed about America, Israel, and mankind, over and over again the injustices, wars, and bloodshed continually happening seems so hopeless. So sorry, Palestine, I am so sorry. But I will always stand with Palestine and never forsake their cause.
It is not humanity that spreads evil in the world....every crime has the signature of the person who committed it....The whole world knows which corporations, governments and individual politicians and individuals these are....so don't attribute the sins of these criminals to me . They appropriated all the wealth of the world for themselves, but they put the responsibility for their evil on imaginary humanity. Otherwise, I understood your message.

Why do you have to be sorry? Is that not what the Palestinian people want? There's a Palestinian mother who said this: "We give birth to so many children so that we can push them to die to martyrdom." Umm Nidal, a Palestinian woman who once sent her six sons on a suicide mission against Jewish civilians in Israel says: "I am proud and honored to be a terrorist for the sake of Allah... This is Islamic religious law. I don't invent anything . I follow Islamic religious law in this." After all, the conflict between Israel and Palestinians is not actually caused by land disputes but by the religious obligations of Muslims. "We are in need of strong and powerful heroes in order to implement the words of Allah: [The companions] 'are tough against the infidels and merciful among themselves.' We ... motivate the students, to wage jihad, for the sake of Allah, and we instill love for Allah and His Prophet in the souls of our sons." - This is from Hamas spokesperson at a 'summer camp' for children in Gaza. The Quran verse referred to is (48:29). Now, read the audio statement that has just been released by the Islamic State (ISIS) in this year 2024: "The battle with the Jews is a religious one and not a national or populist one! It is not a battle for land, soil, or borders! In fact, it is a war that is legitimized by the Koran and the Sunnah... A Muslim fights the Jews because they have commited kufr [disbelief] against Allah Almighty, they have fought His prophets, and have held animosity toward Muslims."

"Our conflict is not an Israeli-Arab conflict. Our struggle is not for a Palestinian state. We are seeking the world. We are seeking the whole world. We are seeking a confrontation against all Crusaders, against all Christians, against all infidels until they adopt the Islamic religion, until they follow the Sharia of Allah. We are not interested in Palestine. We are not interested in Tel Aviv or in Ashkelon. What is important for us is to see Islam ruling the world. This is the religion of God and we are fighting to see Islam rule the world." “As Muslims, we don’t believe in states, borders, and embassies, and most certainly not in Israel’s right to exist. We have to focus on imposing the rule of Islam wherever we are, to signal to the infidels that their support of the enemy is useless." - - This is from Abu al-Ayna al-Ansari, a leader of a Salafi group in the Gaza Strip that is allied with Islamic State ideology (ISIS).
Very well said. I'm a proud Aussie and I wouldn't want any of us judged by the actions of our inept and corrupted politicians. Our politicians haven't represented the Australian citizens for years. I believe the same should apply to Palestinians and Jews. Palestinians shouldn't be judged by the actions of hamas and Israelis shouldn't be judged by the actions of Benjie yahoo either. The governments start wars, but rarely suffer the consequences. It's usually the innocent civilians on both sides that pay the highest price. Unfortunately too many people believe what social media says, without doing some research themselves. Ukraine is no different. If all the governments involved spent as much time on peace negotiations as they have on supplying weapons on money, the war would've been over rather than escalating. Boris Johnson scuttled one peace deal and Biden the other. Maybe the terms weren't acceptable, but at least continue the peace talks and negotiate a compromise. Just another war that drags on and makes the military industrial complex rich!
If there is one tbing to come from this Genocidal revenge mission by Israel, it is that millions of people in the world like you, have had their eyes opened to the truth.
Britain is covered with blood of the innocent. For those British who state that Britain should keep out of this “ war” as it’s not their war may want to revise that statement.
I just picked up my copy of The Hundred Years' War... and can't wait to read it. I'm currently reading Gaza: An Inquest Into Its Martydom by Norman Finkelstein, another highly recommended book.

Thank you thank you THANK YOU for this discussion with Rashid Khalidi. I had gotten his book and his speaking of it is unstoppable. Comments of almost all the shit going on and in the media just substantially what I'm seeing and frustrated. And I can say vocalizing any of this stuff closes the door with most friends and possibly considered antisemitic, which I'm far from that.
Don't be intimidated by the use of declaring a person anti Semitic if s/he doesn't support Zionist apartheid and oppression of Palestinians. Palestinians are Semitic too. Israel doesn't have the moral high ground. If we lose friends because we are standing for right, what have we really lost? Nothing. We need to assess who we are allowing in our inner circle.
I would say that when people understand the difference between Zionism (Christian and Jewish) and Judaism, and how Zionism describes as Antisemitism any critique to the state of Israel, then some people start to change their views.
This is by far, the best analysis I've heard so far as to the history of Zionism and the establishment of Israel. A history of violence duplicity lies and arrogance Not much has chamged
But he is missing sooo many points here. He is already biased. He forgot to mention the Palestinian Yishuv Jewish communities living side by side with Arab Christians and Muslims. The waves of Jewish in 1880s migrants Europe, Africa, and Asia. He should have made a distinction on what waves of Aliyah [waves of Jews] that settled in Palestine. He is painting a narrative that will reflect towards where his sympathies and allegiances are. He only mentions the 5th waves of Jews that settled there.
Now I will read the book. Thanks for investing time to record these precious videos. How else would we find the truth. Ever so grateful. Praying for peace in Palestine. 🙏
History is a silent record of people who could not leave. It is a record of those who did not have a choice. You cannot leave when you have nowhere to go and have not the means to go there. You cannot leave when your children cannot get a passport, cannot go when your feet are rooted in the earth and to leave means tearing off your feet.
Thank you for this. Reporters like yourself make listening to news worthy. A suggestion for guests would be bringing in heads of Middle East states and asking them to see if they understand the dangers of continued support of the Israeli government. Thank you again.

@@Jerrystone-xe9cn Yes, there is no such thing as Palestine, but... Palestine and all the countries from Indonesia to Morocco were one state (the Caliphate) under a unified rule and system. Zahir Muhsein was a Palestinian leader of the pro-Syria As-Sa'iqa Ba'athist faction of the Palestine Liberation Organization between 1971 and 1979. In an interview with Trouw Magazine, 31. Yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity exists only for tactical reasons. The establishment of a Palestinian state is a new tool to continue the fight against Israel and for Arab unity. If Palestine were an Arab state, at any point in recorded history, why was there no mention of them? Because there never was an Arab Palestinian nation, nor any nation called Palestine, ever.

They may be from Alexandria, from Cairo, from Dumietta, from the North, from Aswan, from Upper Egypt. We are Egyptians. We are Arabs. Salma Fayumi, a resident of Kafr Qasim (Palestin/Israel), demonstrated her cooking prowess on the show "Master Chef." How arrogant and childish the British and the Zionists are to think that ignoring the Palestinians would make them go away. The British used this approach around the world in all of their colonial conquests including Ireland and India. More fascinating that no one successfully confronted them on it.
What happened to the Jews living in East of the Jordan River became the Emirate of Transjordan, to be ruled by Faysal’s brother ‘Abdullah? The Jews living there disappeared. Not a single soul remained. And that remains the west of the Jordan River became the Palestine Mandate. So u are going to expel the existing Palestinian Yishuv Jewish communities living there? How about 1880s mass immigration during the Ottoman Empire bet 1881 and 1903? That is only the 1st Aliyah of Jews. This only highlights Dr. Khalid's narrative of his biases against the Jews. There are many points that he did not bother to discuss.

What happened to the Palestinian Yishuv Jewish communities who have been living side by side w/ the Christians and Muslims? 1. How about the waves of Jews in 1880s expelled and persecuted from Morocco, Yemen, Algiers, Saudi where some settled in Southern Levant [that became Palestine]? Eastern Jews are traders and merchants. Acres and acres of lands are purchased from absentee landlords, that angered the peasants of the region. They are forced to evacuate the land fr the new owners [Jews]. 2. The Philistines originated from Greece & Cyprus & were known as the boat people. And yes the lived & traded in Gaza.

From 1917 However, his ignore this little piece of history. How willfully ignorant you are. Pre-Roman Period Ancient Civilizations (Before 1000 BCE): The region was inhabited by various ancient peoples, including the Canaanites. It's mentioned in Egyptian and Mesopotamian texts. Israelite Kingdoms (c. 1000 - 586 BCE): Biblical accounts describe the formation of the Kingdom of Israel and the subsequent Kingdom of Judah. This period saw the rise of Hebrew culture and religion. Assyrian, Babylonian, and Persian Rule (8th - 4th Century BCE): The Assyrian Empire conquered the northern kingdom (Israel) in 722 BCE. The Babylonians conquered the southern kingdom (Judah) in 586 BCE, leading to the Babylonian Exile. Persian rule began in 539 BCE, allowing Jews to return and rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem. Roman Period Roman Conquest (63 BCE): The Romans conquered the region, which became part of the Roman Empire. Jewish-Roman Wars (66 - 135 CE): A series of revolts against Roman rule, including the Great Revolt (66-73 CE) and the Bar Kokhba Revolt (132-135 CE). These revolts were brutally suppressed, leading to significant Jewish casualties and diaspora. Byzantine Period (4th - 7th Century CE): Christianity became the dominant religion under Byzantine rule. The region experienced relative stability and prosperity. Islamic and Crusader Periods Early Islamic Period (7th - 11th Century): Arab Muslim armies conquered the region in the 7th century. The Umayyad and Abbasid Caliphates ruled, with Jerusalem becoming a significant Islamic center. Crusader Kingdoms (1099 - 1291 CE): European Crusaders established several states, including the Kingdom of Jerusalem. This period was marked by conflict between the Crusaders and Muslim powers. Mamluk Rule (1291 - 1517): The Mamluks, based in Egypt, defeated the Crusaders and took control. They maintained Islamic dominance and stabilized the region. Ottoman Period Ottoman Rule (1517 - 1917): The Ottoman Empire conquered the region. It was administered as part of the Damascus Eyalet and later the Jerusalem Sanjak. Relative autonomy for local communities under the millet system. British Mandate and the Creation of Israel British Mandate (1917 - 1948): Post-World War I, the League of Nations granted Britain the mandate over Palestine. The Balfour Declaration (1917) supported a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine. Tensions rose between Jewish and Arab communities. United Nations Partition Plan (1947): Proposed a partition of the land into Jewish and Arab states. Accepted by Jewish leaders but rejected by Arab leaders. Establishment of Israel and Arab-Israeli Conflict (1948): Israel declared independence in 1948. This led to the first Arab-Israeli war. Significant Palestinian displacement (Nakba). Post-1948 Developments Further Conflicts: Numerous conflicts, including the 1967 Six-Day War and the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Peace Efforts and Ongoing Conflict: Attempts at peace, including the Oslo Accords (1990s), have seen limited success. The region remains a focal point of Israeli-Palestinian conflict, with issues like settlements, borders, and the status of Jerusalem unresolved. 21st Century Developments: Continued conflict and peace negotiations. International efforts to resolve the conflict, though a comprehensive peace agreement remains elusive.

The origins of the Lord Arthur Balfour's Declaration goes back to 1908, the period when he was Prime Minister of Britain; that was almost a decade, prior to the Balfour Declaration being Ratified, and Signed, when he was Foreign Minister Secretary of Britain and the Fall of Damascus to the Forces of General Allenby: refer to "The Pillars of Wisdom" by TS Elliott (Lawrence of Arabia).
The Balfour Declaration had no actual authority... Britain’s governance of Palestine, purportedly under the mandate scheme of the League of Nations, never gained a lawful foundation. The League of Nations had no power under the League Covenant to attribute legal significance to the Mandate for Palestine, or to give Britain a right to govern.

@@accrillia It's silly to bring ancient history into the discussion. Ancient history is irrelevant. The Zionist movement of the past 100 years is the primary cause of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The first official census in Palestine was conducted by the British authorities in 1922. A total population of 757,182 individuals was found, of whom 590,890 were Muslims, 83,794 were Jews, and 73,024 were Christians. Palestine should have been a Muslim-controlled country, but Zionist Jews from other countries flooded into Palestine. Zionists claim that Palestine was "a land with no people for a people with no land." That's a lie, of course. With the help of Britain, the US, and the UN, the Zionist Jews stole Palestine from the Muslims.
Tremendously informative recounting of the historic and political emergence of the present status quo with all its inherent or inbuilt faultlines that have led to today’s status quo with all its horrific consequences, deadlocks and unending conflicts. The presumptious, nefarious and characteristically racist role of the retreating British Empire as it ended its so-called « protectorate » in Palestine in 1948 but carving up the region into inevitably divisive and destabilizing enclaves without due regard for the millennial indigenous Palestinian Semite populations who had welcomed the Jewish refugees fleeing unimaginably traumatic genocide in Europe - whose leaders looked the other way as the atrocities unfolded. Thank you for such exceptional and rigorous scholarship. Paris

Thank you Chris for all your work. I will not vote for a major political party again. I am a 56 year old USAF Veteran originally from California living in Iowa. I, like millions of others, moved on from the GOP as an Obama-can in 2008. The ability in 2023 to hear alternate viewpoints, the truth, is refreshing. I realize by not voting for Biden in 2024 we risk an end to our so called American democracy and will put the future lives of my children and grandchildren in difficulty. But, I cannot participate in the genocide Biden green-lit by parking two aircraft carriers off the coast of Israel. I am sure there are millions of Americans waking up like me and my adult children. American democracy and foreign policy in its current form is not civil or obedient to international law. The murder of children, civilians in Gaza, the West Bank, sickens me. Thank you again for all your works.
Even here in New Zealand one political party is no better or different than the other. It seems in all of the West that we don't have the option of voting ourselves out of this mess and any remaining illusions of democracy have vanished. I'm putting my hope in the East now, in Russia and China, to force a global reordering that will force compliance with international law and a fairer more equal global condition. What a nonsense. The crucial question is, why Arab population did not accept the offer to establish their own state and not once but several times. Look how many Arabs are living in the state of Israel and how many Jews are living in the surrounding Arab countries.

Dude leaves out that ALL the wars he mentions were started by the Palestinian side, including the initial conflicts started by Arab attacks on Jewish settlements in 1920, the Nakba was a result of the Arab blockade of Jerusalem (attacks on Jewish convoys, including one slaughter of 80 medical personnel), the 1967 war a result of a series of flagrant violations of the armistice signed in 1948 (including amassing a huge army on the border), Lebanon was a response to Palestinian refugees staging attacks from there (and the Palestinians were ethnically cleansing Christians in Lebanon), etc. He does admit that the First and Second Intifada were uprisings, while leaving out that they followed rejection of peace offers by the Palestinians. He mentions the Sabra and Shatila massacres, but doesn't say they were committed by Lebanese forces (the IDF is blamed for not stopping the massacres). In the Lebanese Civil War (where those massacres occurred), there were countless other massacres where the IDF wasn't present -- you hear nothing about those though, because they can't be blamed on Israel (it's a sure sign of antisemitism if you only care about bad things done by Jews, or in this case not stopped by Jews). Those tragedies represent only around 1,000 of the 100,000+ civilians killed in that war.
Psalm 83 circa 800 BC KJV 83 Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. 2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. 3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. 4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. 5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee: 6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes; 7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; 8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah. 9 Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison: 10 Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth. 11 Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna: 12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession. 13 O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind. 14 As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire; 15 So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm. 16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O Lord. 17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish: 18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth. ~~~~ And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.” Zechariah 12:3
The word Zion occurs over 150 times in the Bible. It essentially means “fortification” and has the idea of being “raised up” as a “monument.” Zion is described both as the city of David and the city of God. As the Bible progresses, the word Zion expands in scope and takes on an additional, spiritual meaning. The word Zion is also used in a theological or spiritual sense in Scripture. In the Old Testament Zion refers figuratively to Israel as the people of God (Isaiah 60:14). In the New Testament, Zion refers to God’s spiritual kingdom. We have not come to Mount Sinai, says the apostle, but “to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem” (Hebrews 12:22). Peter, quoting Isaiah 28:16, refers to Christ as the Cornerstone of Zion: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame” (1 Peter 2:6).
The attacks of 1920 were due to the influx of jewish immigrants into Palestine and subsequently the support of Weizmann by the british government with the balfour declaration. the Zionists resorted to clever politics. They realized the British had interests in taking control over Palestine. The Zionists offered help by providing men for their war and, significantly, when a Zionist chemist named Weizmann invented a new way to produce acetone, which dramatically increased the production of bombs. not only that but the zionist supporters would help fund the british in the time of war, Because the Jews helped the British with the creation of bombs, Balfour(British) promised a Jewish homeland.. The arabs knew they were being double dealt with from the start, there were large numbers of jews who came with the first and second aliyah's but the influx of Jewish immigrants into Palestine, encouraged by the Balfour Declaration and subsequent British policies, was a source of tension. Arab communities were concerned about the demographic and political implications of a growing Jewish population. The King-Crane commission submitted in August 1920, revealed that the majority of the local population in the surveyed areas opposed the idea of foreign mandates and expressed a preference for self-determination and independence. However, the recommendations of the King-Crane Commission were largely disregarded by the Allied powers at the time, and the League of Nations proceeded with the assignment of mandates as originally planned, The territories in question included modern-day Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Palestine.
Colonel Hugh Tudor ,the British commanding officer of the infamous “Black and Tans” a group of thugs who terrorized Ireland ,murdering and torturing the population during the Irish war of independent against the British ,were sent to Palestine directly from ireland in 1922 and continued their tactics there against the Palestinians . Balfour’s Shadow is a good read as well .This is why the irish population has such sympathy for the Palestinians

The 1948 return to the Promised Land is not Biblical. The Bible clearly says Israel got the land long ago under Joshua and Solomon.
This is the Ottoman census of 1878 indicated the following demographics for the Jerusalem, Nablus, and Acre districts.
Muslim - 403,795 or 85.5%
Christian - 43,659 or 9.2 %
Jewish - 15,001 or 3.2% Jewish (Foreign-born) - Est. 10,000 or 2.1%
As you can see, most of the 3.2% Jews were new immigrants themselves. The Arab people have been in that area for hundreds of years. They migrated there peacefully and had nothing to do with expelling the “original Jews”.

I follow Islamic religious law in this."
After all, the conflict between Israel and Palestinians is not actually caused by land disputes but by the religious obligations of Muslims.
This is the religion of God and we are fighting to see Islam rule the world."
“As Muslims, we don’t believe in states, borders, and embassies, and most certainly not in Israel’s right to exist.

Yes, there is no such thing as Palestine, but... Palestine and all the countries from Indonesia to Morocco were one state (the Caliphate) under a unified rule and system. What Sykes and Picot did was to divide the region and sow differences between the peoples of one country to facilitate its rule and control over it and its peoples.
Zahir Muhsein was a Palestinian leader of the pro-Syria As-Sa'iqa Ba'athist faction of the Palestine Liberation Organization between 1971 and 1979.
In an interview with Trouw Magazine, 31. March 1977 he stated....."The Palestinian people do not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose Zionism.
Hamas Minister of the Interior and of National Security Fathi Hammad, aired by Al-Hekma TV on March 23, 2012. Stated.....
.....we all have Arab roots, and every Palestinian, in Gaza and throughout Palestine, can prove his Arab roots - whether from Saudi Arabia, from Yemen, or anywhere. We have blood ties. Personally, half my family is Egyptian. We are all like that. More than 30 families in the Gaza Strip are called Al-Masri ["Egyptian"]. Brothers, half of the Palestinians are Egyptians and the other half are Saudis. Who are the Palestinians? We have many families called Al-Masri, whose roots are Egyptian. Egyptian! They may be from Alexandria, from Cairo, from Dumietta, from the North, from Aswan, from Upper Egypt. We are Egyptians. We are Arabs.
Salma Fayumi, a resident of Kafr Qasim (Palestin/Israel), demonstrated her cooking prowess on the show "Master Chef." Fayumi proudly showed off her Kushari dish that she prepared, "Egyptian cuisine made of rice and lentil." "My family came from Egypt, from Faiyum, and I am Salma Fayumi from Faiyum," the cook from Kafr Qasim said.
If Palestine were an Arab state, at any point in recorded history, why was there no mention of them? Because there never was an Arab Palestinian nation, nor any nation called Palestine, ever.
How arrogant and childish the British and the Zionists are to think that ignoring the Palestinians would make them go away. The British used this approach around the world in all of their colonial conquests including Ireland and India. More fascinating that no one successfully confronted them on it.
What happened to the Jews living in East of the Jordan River became the
Emirate of Transjordan, to be ruled by Faysal’s brother ‘Abdullah? The Jews living there disappeared. Not a single soul remained.
And that remains the west of the Jordan River became the Palestine Mandate. So u are going to expel the existing Palestinian Yishuv Jewish communities living there? How about 1880s mass immigration during the Ottoman Empire bet 1881 and 1903? That is only the 1st Aliyah of Jews.

2. The wailing Wall Riots in 1929, never mentioned why? Hundreds of Jews died.
3. The presence of British meant jobs which attracted thousands of laborers especially fr Egypt to Palestine.

Do you think what Hamas did was ok? Have you seen any of the videos that were shown? Sickening. A young german girl who was jewish had attended the music festival and when Hamas terrorists attacked with no provocation they indiscriminately slaughtered everyone they could get at the music festival. There is video of the young german girl being raped while others stood around and kicked and punched her. Afterwards they dragged her naked body through the streets while Palestinians cheered like it was a celebration. Another man called his mother proudly declaring how he had taken off an Israeli mans head with a shovel screaming how proud she should be that she taught him so well. Did you see the video of the man with his small child who he held being tied together to and then set ablaze? Don't pretend that you know everything there is to know about the relationship Israel has with the Palestinians. You see one side because the media controls what you see. Why is it up to Israel to fix this problem? Egypt also borders the Gaza strip and they don't want anything to do with the Palestinians. They won't open their border to them. Why is that? Don't condemn what you don't fully understand. We need the truth from all angles not just one and from where I'm standing what I know is that this conflict was instigated by the Palestinians. I would like to see an end to all wars but as long as men decide to do wicked things the retaliation will continue to follow in the form of another war.

The Zionist movement of the past 100 years is the primary cause of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The first official census in Palestine was conducted by the British authorities in 1922. @accrilio writings are little more than an attempt to rewrite histpry and to make excuses for what has been done in the name of Israel to mistreat Palestinians and to deny them any justice.
Khalidi is such an amazing liar and even more amazing propagandist
@@accrilliaI think you forgot the bit about how the ancestors of the “Israelis” originated in subsaharan Africa over 300K years ago. So along with your claims of “returning” to Palestine. Why not go occupy most of Africa. Your hasbara isn’t working anymore. Only with boomers who are on their way out
@@accrilliaWhat BS is this? Where’d you copy and paste it from? 🥱🤣
Thank you professor for your brilliant insightful analysis of this tragic shameful ‘man made’ conflict. Solidarity for Palestine and its innocent children, civilians, and grand parents. Can’t believe America, the West and Arab world are not calling for a ceasefire. To be Silent is to be complicit in this horrific genocide and continuing ethnic cleansing. This is beyond insanity and unleashed madness. Where has Humanity gone?
amazing factual history and journalism
The importance of Rashid Khalidi's scholarship cannot be overstated 👏
Very enlightening explanation about the history and current state of affairs. Highly recommended.
This should be mandatory viewing for Everyone 👏
Well said. I feel the same about Starmer in the UK and that Sunak guy.
One very quickly finds most of the things they believed about the workd because they've been fed lies aren't true.
Likewise . I am 65. I have seen too many Democrats who brush this off or cheer on this slaughter. I will never vote for Biden.
"I realize by not voting for Biden in 2024 we risk an end to our so called American democracy."
Lol you've really drank the koolaid if you believe that
Thank you, Chris Hedges and Dr. Kalidi for this discussion today 🙏🌍❤️🌿🕊
Golda Meir held a Palestinian passport from 1921 - 1948. Yet according to israel, there was never a place called Palestine.
I once saw a sign on Avenue J, a mostly Jewish neighborhood in Brooklyn NY, which claimed Kahne was right. I found it disturbing when I read it.
Thank you for your integrity💝💝💝💝
What is the best book to read about Palestine truthfully please?
I am reading a book by Ben White, journalist for the Guardian, Independent and Al Jazeera. Political analysis
Try "Gaza : An inquest into its martyrdom " by Norman. G. Finkelstein
And you should start with "The myth of german villainy". After that look who rule the USA and UK. Then you'll understand Gaza and what's happening there
Khalidi’s book, the 100 years war on Palestine is a great place to start. If there is anything in it that you find hard to believe, you can always check his sources.
Telling it like it is, thank you Professor.

@@felipez7113so you are saying the percentage of likes to views is a good representation of a video’s truthfulness?
Decent people around the world recognize that the palestinian struggle is a worldwide stuggle against colonialism and racism. Thank you for this valuable video!
What a nonsense. The crucial question is, why Arab population did not accept the offer to establish their own state and not once but several times. Jews were infigenous people of the area and were living there for thousands of years. Look how many Arabs are living in the state of Israel and how many Jews are living in the surrounding Arab countries.
@@alexandradekanova771People of Palestina were in that land too but the difference is they never leave. Zionist got that part of the land and since then they have occupied illegally the rest in a violent way. According to all human rights entities Israel is now an ethnical and racist apartheid state.
@@alexandradekanova771 They very much wanted to establish their own state, as prof. Khalidi points out. Its a big shame the world let zionists steal their land and establish an apartheid state upon it and upon the palestinians. Why would they accept a foreign populations offer of taking half their land, after having been ethnically cleansed by said foreign population, and be happy? U cannot co-exist with a racist settler colony who wants to displace u of ur own land and kill u if necessary to achieve that.
@@meankitten101 very convincing 🤡
Perhaps you should just come out and say that you dont know to many decent people instead. I however know many, and learn from many others i dont know.

Palestine must be freed 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🔻
What role did the Rothschild Banking House play in the British Empire given that the Rothschild hand has clearly left its imprint upon the Belfour Declaration.
Great interview. Very informative. Thank you!
Love your work
Thank you Chris Hedges and Dr Rashid ... FREE Palestine 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
Just devastating that this was recorded 5. months ago and this utter horror continues.
Brilliant and informative interview. As others have said in the comments, Rashid Khalili is extremely impressive!
Thank you both gentlemen a lot🙏🏽
Selective presentation is the name of the game sir. The full facts you presented won't sit well with their agenda or narrative.
Psalm 83
circa 800 BC
KJV
83 Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.
9 Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
10 Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:
12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.
13 O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
14 As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;
15 So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O Lord.
17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:
18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth.

And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.” Zechariah 12:3
Ok
Colonel Hugh Tudor ,the British commanding officer of the infamous “Black and Tans” a group of thugs who terrorized Ireland ,murdering and torturing the population during the Irish war of independent against the British ,were sent to Palestine directly from ireland in 1922 and continued their tactics there against the Palestinians . Balfour’s Shadow is a good read as well .This is why the irish population has such sympathy for the Palestinians
Fantastic talk, thank you so much for cracking these eggs of knowledge on my head.
