Race 2 of the weekend! This one was FUN! Started P6 and finished P4 and had the second fastest lap of our race thanks to a set of sticker Hoosiers. Really happy with the battles and results from what started off as a shaky weekend. One tire was corded from the first race so I threw on a fresh set which had way better life through the race than the old ones.
Highlights:
0:30 Mike and Hans get together which breaks Hans' control arm. The chase begins! Its close between Doug, Hans, Mike, Dan, Vinh and myself. Had to work to keep up while also defending from Vinh right behind.
1:50 Dan puts a good move on Mike into T1, I try to follow through but don't quite make it stick.
3:59 It starts to get heated as the white E36 gets by Hans. You can see the green E36 struggle to keep control of his car.
5:48 Nose to tail, I squeeze by the black E36
6:04 Green E36 struggling, out of class Porsche in the middle, I try to go on the outside of the octopus and my driver mirror gets shaved off. Lose position back to Dan in the black E36.
7:34 Green E36 hits black E36 in the octopus. Both cars go off and eventually end up back in pits early.
25:40 Starting to close the gap to Doug in the white E36. Traffic makes for a fun time. Flaggers were awesome throwing the passing flags for slower cars and the slower classes were heads up with us barreling through. Wish I had just one more lap in this race!

That green car was all over the place. He should have been down at the drift nirvana. Did the black m3 endure a lot of damage?

Black M3 was alright. Escaped with some wheel damage but he got a grill full of grass when they went off and temps started skyrocketing so he had to come in early.

Green E36 had a broken rear control arm he was trying his best to drive thru. And yeah gave the civic a push since vtec didn’t kick in yet 😂

Glad nothing worse happened there then. Probably gave that poor rookie a small code brown there in that Civic though! I'm guessing you know them lol. Nice saves at 10:10, 15:15, nice driving, and the ending looked like tons of fun!
