- In this review i tell you all about the AOVO pro m365 scooter. It is a fun scooter to ride but does have its problems. I’ve been using my AOVO Pro scooter and I haven’t had many of these problems and I know a lot of people who personally own one of these scooters and only 1 of them has had the rear fender broken off (he crashed) and the shaking handlebar bit happens to pretty much every scooter, more on the xiaomi’s (I know over 10 people that own one) but at least with the AOVO scooter, the shaking can be fixed mostly by tightening the hex bolt in the centre of the clamp when folded. Nice video but speaking on behalf of a lot of other AOVO owner’s we didn’t have all of these same problems. I live in London by the way and use my scooter all the time in the rain, especially during these times. When I commute to school or anywhere else. Whilst it is true that moisture can seep through. In all my months of owning this scooter and using it practically every day I’ve never had an issue with water.
I mean everyone has a different experience with the scooter but these are just the problems I had. I didn’t throw the scooter around either. I think it will be dishonest if I made a review on the scooter and only talked about the positives and covered up all of the problems. I’m not here to misinform people I’m just here to state my experience and the facts about the scooter. I have seen a few people having the same problem with the mudguard on the Xiaomi scooter but they have since fixed it by adding some extra supports and I haven’t had any problems with my xiaomi scooter. Regardless, I’d love to see how your scooter is holding up. Maybe you could make a follow-up video and maybe we could even do a collab sometime. Also are you payed by aovo or do you get the scooters sent for free? Just asking out of interest.

Even if you have headrock problems and finding mud guard
I got one, tightened all the bolts , cruise control works perfectly it shuts off as soon as you hit the thumb lever and its a smooth ride, also snapping the guard can only be done if you use it to break witch you do not need to use or if you here to prop the scooter backward far enough to pivot the scooter on the guard , its obviously gonna break.
people are complaining about rattle? my scooter has never rattled, and the honeycomb wheels are perfect and feel like air filled tires.

@@crystalplayers2644 still works perfectly and not had any problems the battery dies a bit faster now it used to go around 10 miles now it's at around 9 but I go full speed everywhere when I'm out on it

The Xiaomi Pro is totally worth every penny and superior in every way. Bigger battery. Brand battery. Easy app. Easy to firmware. Build quailty is way superior. Don't spend yoyr money on these clones. Get the real thing and you won't regret it.

This seems to be with the models with the non power icon thing to turn it on, I have a Aovopro Es80 and have 0 issues
I don’t see this as a dangerous Scooter at all
For the price it’s excellent and there are 3 cheap ways to make it better, more water proof, and give it a smoother ride
Step 1. By a waterproof battery housing Gasket for £5.99
Step 2. Inside the battery housing when opened, at the back where the rear light cable comes into the housing, silicone the hole to stop any water seeping in
Those 2 steps entirely waterproof your Scooter, you can also buy an LCD water proof cover so if it’s drizzling your button next to the lcd display will be protected meaning no water getting into it
And step 3. By air tyres for £15 to make the ride noticeably smoother, all this requires is drilling one small hole into the wheel to be able to get get the air valve through, takes 5 seconds, easy peasy
After doing all 3 steps, I’ve literally had zero problems with my Aovo Scooter, and I’ve now done 180 miles on it
It’s fast, it’s handles hills well, I’m 95kg and I manage to get up reasonable hills at around 10-11 mph
I’m now looking into getting a battery extension pack to increase the range

I have had my aovo pro scooter for just over a year now and haven’t had a single problem with it. I have ridden it in harsh conditions e.g. rain and flooding and haven’t had anything go wrong with it. This is a great scooter and I highly recommend. I think what had happened in this review is just one shipping error or a manufacture problem because I have had no loose bolts or rear fender problems. I hope this has helped.

Yes definitely I think mine could’ve definitely been a manufacturing error but I didn’t wanna come onto the review and only praise the scooter. I always wanna stay unbiased and tell the truth.

When you get a new scooter or bike you should always check the bolts over and tighten everything. Most factories leave them looser for bike shops to torque properly and to prevent any problems in shipping.
Yes, i work in a bike shop. This scooter should come with all bolts probably tourqed as the company is selling to the end consumer who usually don’t understand the technical side of thing. I did check everything when i first for the scooter and i still had many problems.

This and the kugoo s1 pro/plus seem to be the best budget alternatives to the Xiaomi, I recently purchased a Xiaomi 1s and I have to say the build quality is on another level compared to these, But I would not mind one of these aovo's as a back up for when the 1s gets a puncture lol, How would you rate overall reliability?
I own an aovo and my friend has the xiaomi 1s.Quality wise defo xiaomi but in terms of battery a journey that would take 1 bar of would take 2/3 off the xiaomi.I suggest when first getting an aovo get a mudguard support as it is quite shakey and also vibration dampers for less bump on not do smooth roads.
Durability wise I’d say 7.5 having it a month in only minor scuffs

I would say the the reliability of the Aovo was overall pretty good if you take the problems out of the picture. Not having to worry about punctures if also a massive plus. I would just keep the Aovo well away from rain or water in general. As you can see in the review, mine didn't fare well.

I saw a video from the actual aovo youtube channel and with the app, it went up to 25mph. How does yours only go to max 19?. If I ever buy an aovo I want it to go to 25 I like fast scooters lol
What scooter should I get then that’s reliable decently fast good charge and under £400 also I want it to be really good no air tyres need solid ones
If your are a young small guy get this its good trust me pr have a look at the kugoo Kirin s1 its trustable however its a bit small and has a thin floorboard with weak mudguards the rest os great

This, luckily in my city , (Sheffield) their is a shop near me that sells them and other e scooters, but if you want to save money then deffo this , only thing is there’s a lot of complaining about people’s mud guard breaking, you don’t really need them but it’s not exactly nice buying something that will break

I have the pro 2, essential, and an aovo, both the xiaomi are unlocked. I'd recommend the xiaomi any day, better brakes, air filled tyres, better all round quality. These are more like a toy than a commuter.

@@wilsonwong1880 they are a great scooter, my son has used it daily and its been reliable, the throttle needed replacing and a they tend to wear the front tire when unlocked, the throttle is an easy job the tyre is a nightmare to change but that's the same on any scooter.
You had two screws missing from the handlebar!! There needs to be 4, no wonder it wobbled

I had this scooter for 2 months and the it doesn't charge anymore even tho I changed the charger twice, any suggestions
check where the power plugs in to the scooter, it's usually a bad connection between the plug and socket.

its a clip for when u fold it
u can take it off it wont effect ur scooters performance but u wont be able to clip it once u fold it

Hi there i recently got a aovo pro and the mudgard snapped what did you do with the wire underneath the mudgard
You should be able to unplug the wire and use it without the mudguard. Then contact aovo to get a new one

Um quick question, roughly how long did it take for the scooter to arrive home after you have ordered it?
Mine took 5 days
It was 2 weeks exactly. I would take the delivery date originally given and add another 2 weeks on top just for good measure.
Did you check the tightness of the bolts when you unpacked it? You could have just had a poorly assembled unit?
Yes i am a bike tech so thats the first thing i did.

The major thing with these scooters for me is the harsh ride quality. The ground only has to be slightly ruff and you are vibrating like an old washing mashing

I ride on rough roads and in wet conditions as i live in the uk. To be honest i think most of the problems i had where as a result of the conditions i rode in.

No, when the battery is low charge it will limit the speed down.
Where I’m travelling it is 2.5miles, shoild this be alright to go there and back? And if I ride it around at the location a bit

I get 14-15 miles range out of it, and that’s going across terrain that isn’t all flat, there’s a few hills on my journey
I travel 3.2 miles and back to my parents, when I get home I still have about 40% battery left
So your 2.5 miles there and back will be a breeze

Brought one of these yesterday. There wicked for what they are and the money . One thing I would say is the battery life obviously there's a sport mode and I ain't gonna go slow if it can go 20mph. Not sure how long it lasts but it does drain pretty quick does anyone know for future reference how many miles you get on full speed ???
Youll get 10 miles on full speed and in a month it will brake

Hiya, does anyone know manufacture contact number for this company?? Brought this Scooter in Nov, and the handle bars go lose , having to tighten it at all the time which is not safe to ride. This Scooter has a 12 months warranty, I'm getting no luck with the eBay seller.

You mentioned not being able to turn well on this scooter. Have you ever been going along, turn corner at slightly too much speed and almost crash? Well, I have 😂. Won’t be making that mistake again.
Not yet but the solid tyres didnt get any grip in the road thats for sure😂
I've riden a skateboard a lot before , if you stand on it and transfer your weight like you're skating and using the handlebars lightly all escooters turn very easily and sharply

My scooter isn’t charging anyone can help ?
The connector may have disconnected from the main controller or there could have been some water ingress. There is no way of knowing until you open the scooter. If you where to do this you would most likely void the warranty. If i was you i would contact the customer services. What's the charging time
I usually charge overnight but would say about 5 hours from a dead battery.

Only if you are riding on a flat surface, smooth roads and in sunny conditions.

I would say go for the pro 2. Its much better for going up hills and if you get it on a good deal you can get it for the same price as the 1s.

I'm assuming your asking for the maximum range (I don't speak your language). If you are I tested a maximum range of 15 miles in the slowest mode in optimal conditions.

I bought this scooter and out of the box it would not charge correctly on contacting aovo I was told that it was normal for this to happen they won't even do anything under the warranty so it looks like I've wasted £299 I would not recommend this make of e scooter

Your off your head you haven’t put any bolts in the handlebars even I think you need to take care of things better my scooter is sound as for water proofing it will leak water and doesn’t say it’s water proof but still works in wet conditions lol

Yes i got almost a full refund. I payed £310 for the scooter and got a £298 refund.

@@user-hl2ec6hw8e no, if you ordered off eBay it would most likely be more faulty. If you buy it off the official aovo website you can get a warranty.
This was definitely a faulty version of the AOVO pro
I think it could have been, but some of the problems definitely come from a poor design. Its a bit of both.
