Hey Freddy, a couple of nice and easy steps. Chassis is now on its wheels and rolling, onto the interesting bit…the bodywork 😊😊best wishes to you and the family 🖐️😉😎

Thanks John! It’s usually very easy but these hubs are a lot tighter than usual which I found odd. But I got there in the end. But yes now it’s body work time!

Kind of weird with the connectors. I think metal ones with the screw should be on the upgrade list.

Yeah I think that’s probably true. I’ve never run into this before. Usually they just fit easily over the shaft. Got there in the end but you’re right…metal upgrades might be a good idea with this one.

Hi Freddy, the car is certainly coming along. I feel like the hexes might be a weak point but maybe once it’s driven it will help to drive the metal pieces further in

Mine seem to be a really tight fit but I think over time it will loosen up a bit. It should be fine. The hexes are basically the same in most other Tamiya kits which have held out well. Would I like this to fit better? Yes. Am I being a bit picky? Maybe. Time will tell.

Nope…that was a first for me. More elbow grease time :)
