  • This retired 1979 Dodge Ramcharger use to be a plow truck used by the Fish and Wildlife Service. It has not ran for about 15 years. Today we will attempt to getting running and driving once again! Hopefully we will be able to enjoy the convertible top this summer.

I love my '90 RamCharger.....was sitting DEAD for 12yrs when I bought it for $500......dropped the gas tank, replaced the fuel pump & rubber fuel hose sections & fuel filter.....replaced the cap & rotor and threw some fresh wires @ it.....rolled/chugged right on out of where I had been working on it for a month and a half.....love my 318c.i.

A little tinkering here and there and the old ugly thing fired up, and it backfiring is comical. Good thing you have your dad helping you, he knows a lot about getting them back up and running...not that you don't, lol. The Power Stroke 350 looks pretty dang good.

$1.26 in 1985? That's not too cheap. I remember paying 99 cents for gas in 2001. Diesel was even cheaper, like 94 or 95 cents.

Next time grab a hair dryer (coz every male has one) or a paint stripper gun and heat the panel you're trying to correct the dent on. Paintless Dent removal dudes do it, follow their lead. Same goes for plastic bumpers, heating them, up and pushing the dent or ding out. Oh and be gentle about it too!
