Hey folks, if anybody out there feels led to share any of our Skydog vids on social media, we would be much obliged! Many thanks!! 🍑
LOVE THIS!!!!! Great Vocals and guitars solo. Sounds like the exact version from the Duane Allman anthology Album. Fabulous.
DUDES.... You bring this 68 year old man back to life every night. I nearly want to cry....... in such a good way. Thank you. If I could only turn back the hands of time for one evening at The Fox Theater in Atlanta just one more time, .... I'd be ready and willing "to go". My life has been complete.
Yeah man, I miss the ABB and concerts at the Fox ! Enjoyed hearing that great song, Skydog
The road really does go on forever. Thank y'all!
Yessss!!
Ive said it before and ill say it again. Willie nails Duanes tone better than anyone. Thanks for sharing you guys- I just loved it.
Congrats on keeping this music alive.
Steve Longobardi Thanks Steve 🍄
Man I'm a huge Allman Bros. fan and so cool to see folks that love it enough to keep it alive. You guys are nailing it. Great to hear so much talent working together. Timing is everything when your jamming and everyone's tight....incredible
Gary Gerkin thanks for the encouragement Gary!
I run the Allman Brothers Band Musicians Heritage and Tribute page. This was posted last night, and truly one of the greatest versions I have ever heard. This is not an easy song. The whole band keeps the groove and the slide is superb. I have over 50 bands on my page across the US and Europe.
Bob Hetsko Hello Bob, this is Willie Williams. I run this channel and play slide in Skydog. Thank you so much for your kind words. I can tell you that every single member of this band is passionate about preserving the music and the legacy of the Allman Brothers Band, and we work very hard to do that as authentically as possible. It’s so nice when people notice. Thanks again and hope to see you down the road! Eat a peach for peace my friend. 🍑 ~WW

Tidewater VA
Bro... come on.... that was tremendous! Talk about a signature slide piece... I've said it before to u guys. Keep it up!
That’s one of my favorite ABB songs to play on slide along with Statesboro. Now Statesboro can be tricky if the wrong tempo is being played. Great Job Bro!!!!
YOU GUYS SOUND SO GOOD!!!!!
Bass Master2112 thanks man! Eat a peach! 🍑

Man, you guys are really smokin’!!! I wish you guys were in the NYC area. Keep on keepin’ on!
That was awesome.
Accidentally came across your channel and now I'm hooked to it. Just because of the fondness for exploring the details in Duane's and Betts's playing.
I don't even attemt to do something that you are doing on the guitar, but I think I can learn something from just watching your videos. Especially since there isn't that much footage freely available of the Allman Brothers Band performing live.
Are there any other artists that you like as much as the Allman Brothers Band?
Thanks man. Absolutely! BB King, The Grateful Dead, Tony Rice, David Grisman, Bill Monroe, Grant Green, Clarence White. Those guys steer my ship. 🎶
Hey Jeremy, it was great to see you and the rest of the guys at Elevation 27. Keep rockin' brother.
grapas100 Thanks! I will tell Jeremy you said hello!
@@VirtualWoodshed - Thanks.
Nicely done!
Sounds great! Didn't know Duane Allman played drums :D
That's Ginger Baker
Great stuff and thank you. Stay the course, guys. We look forward to seeing you in the Rockies!
Stephen Cunningham would love to get out west sometime! Stay tuned! 🍄
Killin'!!!!!!
Chris Brydge Thanks dude. Hope you’re well! I sure miss the Tidewater scene. Tell Woody I said hi! 😎
Mercy, nailed that.
Nice job! You really nail the FE sound.
Perfection.
Hot damn y’all!!!
Check out a great interview of Jeremy D. Simmons on “Who Cares Podcast” episode 31
Hey Guys...will yall be in the Georgia area ever? I sure appreciate what you all are doing, and you do it so well. We are still "a lot of us out here" that loved the ABB. Smoked my first and last doobie to this song and Whipping Post when I was 15 from a bootleg tape. I own 5 newspapers. I want to write an article about you guys if you can give me an EMAIL ADDRESS so I can send you about 15 questions. Thank you, and there's nothing wrong with free publicity. MY Best, Bill
Thanks! No plans to come to GA anytime soon but appreciate the interest! Please direct all media inquiries to lowblowmusic@gmail.com.
THAT’S how ya do it!!! 🍑
soundin killer as always, caught you guys in Roanoke a couple weeks ago, i believe you were sick. still put on a killer show though
The Electric Riverside Band oh man! What a night that was. Yes, I was sick as shit, puked all night long. Probably not my best night! But thanks for coming to check out the band though! 🍑🍄
I really could use a full tablature for one of my favorite tunes
I wouldn’t even begin to know how to tab this out. But I do teach lessons if you’re interested. Please get in touch via my website. www.williewilliamsmusic.com
I sure would like a lesson on how to play the slide parts on this song
I teach lessons virtually. You can reach me through the band's website www.skydogtribute.com/contact. Just ask the admin to forward the email to Willie so I can get back in touch. ✌
I would love to see the rhythm part's in detail so I can try to Get it down
You should do a tutorial
Thanks. I did one a couple years ago on Statesboro, and it’s basically all the same licks. Please check out my channel for that and a ton of other ABB content. 🍄

Who cares!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stop with this announcing first crap!!!!! It is stupid.
Harmonica player all ur missing
craigthibodaux that’s true. One of these days we’ll get my good buddy Dan Gage in Boston to sit in with and do it just like the record!
I loved the way Thom Doucette played. Not sure why he never became a full member of the band. I think Duane wanted him to join but it never happened.
