I sincerely thought I wouldn't be able to find someone crazier than Colin furze on this site But this man is zapping his brain and remote controlling himself That's another level
Man this video made me miss when I was learning about circuit boards and the electronics in high school in one of my foster homes. The idea of electricity has always fascinated me in a way I can't explain. I mean my hero is Nikola Tesla, just his mind and ability to understand electric and make it work. Its more then just power with physics and chemistry. I only really learned the beginning with definitions, purposes, and charts and formulas for them. But before I left I got really into my two classes, electronics/batteries and EPT. My teachers were so excited I was involved so much and really got me into the lessons. I was the only girl in the classes so my one teacher had this contest where we would use motors and batteries to make it go the fastest. Well my teacher wanted me to win because I was the first girl student he's had in a while and to kick their butt. He didn't tell me what to do but he helped me come up with a design by going through ideas that would best work and for the longest time mine was the fastest. Really helped me learned. And my electronics teacher could see how into the whole subject I was. We were in the making of cutting and laying the track for our own circuit boards for a strobe light, when I was moved to a new home. And the guidance counselor called my new, at the time, guidance counselor and told her how much my teachers missed me and that he wanted to make sure I was going to be okay. My foster mother Pam called me and said that my teacher finished my strobe light for me and wanted to mail it. All my teachers got together and mailed cards and got me a gift card to spend to wish me luck in my new home. I love electronics and electricity so much I had a 4.0 when all my classes what "algebra 2(until it switched to reading then it was boring), chemistry, EPT, electronics, woodshop, and gym." Especially with the mind set these courses were for me to go to tech to learn Electrical Occupations the following year, even though I didn't. I did eventually go to tech at my new, at the time, school. I was switched to a couples homes but they were all in the same district so I could actually go to tech, but I never got my certificate because I left at 18. Although I liked my other schools and had a good time I wasn't never more excited to go to school when something that I'm passionate about was my actual subjects. I wanted to go to school for it and make a career out of it so bad. But I had a kid in foster care, not what you think though, and when I left kinda just moved in with his step dad. Had another and with him and just got into the routine of working and paying bills. I want to go back to school but I can't afford to not work. Let alone start apply for the grant that's a process too. But this made me miss it. And really made me want to risk it just to do something I love again. I’m and equipment technician now and even though its close enough its not as technical as I want to do and kinda basic.
Very nice explaination of the circuit I would just say that it lacks any kind of fail-safe mechanism If one of your regulation transistor were to fail the wrong way (shorting on the right one, high impedence on the left one) you'd end up with an unregulated current trough your head Switching for a dedicated current source with safe failure modes would be better (but the circuit is great for anything not as critical and which would not require to put your head into ^^)
Hey, Valve is likely to be announcing Left4Dead 3 soon. In Left4Dead 2 there's a little zombie (the Jockey) that jumps on your back and makes you stumble around uncontrollably. Maybe you can get them to pay you to make a video (or a live demo for E3) where a dummy zombie houses the battery pack?
I know the chances of you responding to a 5 year old video are somewhere between slim and none, but does the output of the remote act as a binary switch on the equilibrium of the subject, or does the change in equilibrium vary in an analogous manor depending on the distance from center you move the controller? That might not make sense... do you feel the same effect whether you move the joystick slightly to the left or full left to the stop? Or can you steer the subject slightly with minor input then really push them over hard with greater input from the remote?
Ok, I have no idea about half the things you just explained, and I'm seriously considering start looking some electronics guides :'D Awesome job, man, keep up the good work!^^
I wanted to ask if the H-brigde is the same type of H-bridge you would use to control the direction of a motor, love watching these vids during quarintine
Could you figure out how to make the skates the "rudies" wear in Jet Set Radio? Jet Set Radio Future is one of my favorite games, and those skates are so cool. Their only description is "Magnetically driven inline skates powered by newly developed ‘netrium' batteries." Would it be possible to build magnetic skates that make it easier to grind?
Did you use pspice or something to check current before assembling the breadboards? Also trés cool. The simplicity of the device is awesome, time to go raid my unis lab.
I am currently making this same project following your exact instructions. But the circuit isn't yielding any output. There is something wrong with our H bridge and we don't know what it is. Please help us. Is there anyway I can contact you like via mail etc? it's an emergency. please help.
buddy im a little bit confuse about mosfet and i'd never use that ... what is ndp8020p ??? and f12n10l ??? i want to make that one i hope u can help me thanks ...
every time I see it, it looks like a gimic, but it does seem kinda cool. I am thinking of the next SAW movie - stop yourself like walking off a cliff or over knives or some shit with this controlling you. you've tried it....can you resist the urge?? is it possible??
hey man I've been watching your vids, can you show a more detailed way to assemble this? imma make my thesis based on this. can you suggest a way to control the current amplitudes?
Hi I am looking to acquire knowledge about making a homemade eeg that can run with arduino can you give me the starting point where do I start learn this..
Why not a brain to brain control system, with a galvanic vestibular simulator on one side and brain-wave reading equipment on the other side instead of a remote controller?
What about doing this again but a computer as the controller and then I don’t smart glasses so that you can see what that person is seeing and control them from a longer distance but not to long. Like have them in your backyard while you’re controlling them on the computer.
the issue is your brain, your typical synpase response is only a few PicoAmps (10^-12) at 40-90 MiliVolts. This thing is running at 0.25MiliAmps at 12V. That is at least 1000X the amps your brain normally runs at and 300x the volts. If you held down one of the sticks on the controller for a long period of time, I have no doubt you could cause some brain damage.
Useful papers, in the description of "The Science of: Cerebro", and I've put them in the description of this video as well now.Functional MRI of Galvanic Vestibular Stimulation: jn.physiology.org/content/80/5/2699.short Tolerance to extended galvanic vestibular stimulation: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21853854 Task-dependent reflex responses and movement illusions evoked by galvanic vestibular stimulation in standing humans: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1155693/ TL;DR why would I strap this to my friends' heads if I thought there was the slightest risk of frying their brains?
Hey you have a website, or something people could contact you at (maybe a RUclips email, so there's not a bunch of spam on your real one or something?) I am about half way done with this and need some advice on the electrodes and where to put them, thanks!
Well it's done, I can't figure out why the electrodes arrant receiving power though, I'm guessing it has to do with mixing up the gate, source and drain on one or some of the mosfets (mosfets ares the only piece in this that I haven't worked with before). Any ideas? Thanks!
+Sufficiently Advanced Alright, I fixed it, but one question, what are you using for electrodes and how precise do they have to be placed? I tried using some tinfoil as electrodes, but nothing happened...?
+Noah Shafer it's hitting in at exactly 2.6 milliamps so that's all good, but I can't get it to make me want to move, and thanks again for the help, you make some amazing things!!
6:45 Don't want to LOAD on the complaints to this awesome video but... Being in the middle of the H-Bridge... shouldn't you be wearing a resistor t-shirt? Seriously, great built!
That's pretty great, but why don't you make it reverse, like you control the movement of the car or another person maybe. Would it be impossible to achieve?
My request is I want to make a machine gun laser pointer that kills flies using a laser led and bbq sparkler as power source so it looks like a machine gun laser

Even years on this genius is beautiful to watch
This is really cool, I hope you show a video to show steps to make it soon. It would be a pretty cool thing to show your friends!
He's the king of creativity
does anyone agree w me that he kinda looks and is smart like sisco from the flash?
he looks like asian kevin durant
It's actually Cisco.
Exactly
+LeBron Curry I totally agree
Cisco*
Is it just me, or does he remind anyone else of Tadashi from Big Hero 6?
RIP :(((((
yeah definitely
kinda yh
alpha999888 nooooooo :(
he looks more like a younger version of the mandarin from Iron Man 3

You confused the n- and p-channel MOSFETs while explaining. Check your link to the H-bridge. Though, interesting work. Thank you!
D'oh! You're right, I described the whole thing backwards! I'll have to figure a way to fix that tomorrow, thanks!
@@allenpan Is current like this actually dangerous to the brain? 😂 Besides being fun as hell
Can you put all the parts you used in the description pls
Can't this made by connecting a simple resistor to a battery, to bring down the current and add a switch to it?

I don't know why you don't have more subs
I was hoping you'd make a video like this. You the man my yellow homie.
for some of these projects, it would be great to have links to all the exact parts.
All the component except the F12N10L are available on eBay. Is there a replacement for that?
Alright. Time to fit this into a VR headset.
You evil unholy *BEING*
Nice content dude, keep up the good work.

I'm trying to do this at my science fair and what type of h bridge did you use
That moment when you want to make some of this stuff, but you aren't smart enough.
Bryce Crispy ikr XD I feel like im smart ._.
don't be afraid to fail... in my experience the best way to acquire new skills is to have a project or goal in mind and go for it!
@@JohnCanniff until you fry your brain ahaha

Ok, I have no idea about half the things you just explained, and I'm seriously considering start looking some electronics guides :'D
Awesome job, man, keep up the good work!^^
There's some links in the description, but you'll probably have to work your way up to it if you're a beginner. Good luck!
Yeah, I certainly don't want to end with my brains electrified... except if I had Flash's luck hahaha.
Thanks!^^
Hello, Allen! Thinking is possible to use in a flight simulator? Mean if you stimulate "rightside turn" a long time will feel like 360 degrees turn?
I wanted to ask if the H-brigde is the same type of H-bridge you would use to control the direction of a motor, love watching these vids during quarintine
yes bro

Nah, just checked everything with a multimeter. Been a while since I've actually simulated a circuit!
you should combine it with a VR game!

To make a person lean right do you activate only the right nerve or do you send the current so that it flows to right through both nerves?
Where did you get the NPN Bipolar Junction Transistor t shirt?
Can you make the lightsaber part 2???!!!
Some day! It's on the back burner, lots of other projects are probably gonna come first.
:( why WHY, dont worry its ok i forgive you
+Sufficiently Advanced youu gotttaaa makee a redd one atleast and make it moree stiff, nice job tho
buddy im a little bit confuse about mosfet and i'd never use that ... what is ndp8020p ??? and f12n10l ??? i want to make that one i hope u can help me thanks ...

Could you make glasses that allow you to see electromagnetic waves?
Btw mate you are seeing them all the time.;) (light=photons and photons are electromagnetic waves)
Have you thought about using an EEG headset as a controller?
Oh shot he's back
what are the p and n mosfet that he put
i can really see them correctly
you are an inspiration!!! have you ever considered to make a iron man watch armour hand thing.. you know like in the movie civil war
Can you show a more in depth video about the circuit board because I'm not to good with circuit boards thank you
hey man I've been watching your vids, can you show a more detailed way to assemble this? imma make my thesis based on this. can you suggest a way to control the current amplitudes?

No offense, but can you try to get the lightsaber tutorial part 2 made?
Can you use any H bridge or it has to be a certain one?

Allen Pan - Sufficiently Advanced
Hey, nice project! But I just wanted to know how dangerous can this be?
I don't think zapping yourself is dangerous, but zapping it the wrong way will. That is if you know what you're doing.

Control people's movements, with a RC car module
You should make Spider-Man web shooters
Hes making it now :D
All of your videos are amazing, and your so smart. Still waiting for part 2 of the real burning lightsaber tho :)
hey dude you are awesome im from argentina and i really admire you work !k
Completely Overkill MOSFETs but it looks like an awesome thing to try !
How much did it cost to make
Could you make a more detailed tutorial? it would be awesome
I mean, linking component which you are sure will work
I didn't understood its working.Will it work
where did you get that dope shirt
hey when are we gonna get the making a lightsaber part two
This channel never fails to make me realize how not-smart I am.
Is there a way to get someone to move forward
how about controlable cards like gambit? :D
Is the base a cut out football helmet?
I want a parts list and a wiring schematic
You are the best youtuber and how Did you get this ideas Theye are awesome
i tough of how to make a helmet like that and that volt shock thing was actually what i tough how it would work XD
If I follow the instructions correctly, it is completely impossible to get dead from this right? Right?
No guarantees :P
But 12V shouldn't kill you

And how about the shirt with the bird on it in the begining of the video? That one is pretty cool too.
