I had the opportunity to see them in 2012, in Ilha Comprida/SP, I remember the power of Dan's voice and I remember the place taken by the energy of the purest rock'n'roll that only Nazareth knew how to do. As long as our hearts keep beating, Dan McCafferty will live on.
lukemanify Agree! Do you think he would have been the perfect replacement for Bon Scott if Brian Johnson (also excellent) hadn't got the AC/DC front man job?
@@MrBlueSky474 Yes sir!! My buddy Dave has said this for years but I haven't heard any others express the same sentiment until reading your comment here.
I remember this back in Nam, I heard this in a cafe not so long ago but I had to run out of there as the ceiling fans brought back memories of the choppers! Rock on!!!
Not right to do this version injustice of comparing it to dead. Dead or Live. Live. But the best is the early Nazareth version. That guitarists was the diffetence.
Remember dancing to this back in 1969 at the '69 club at the Royal York Hotel in Ryde Iow, Lakeside in Wotton Bridge or Ryde Airport. Rock like this and real all weather bikers never die, they just fade away. Happy memories
I did enjoy this, I wanted to see and hear the snare and tom- tom awesomeness that happens after the low key hihat parts though. Still a great performance 👍
A guy I worked with once referred to this track saying, "No fucking drum machine, no fucking synthesiser, no fucking dancing and fucking everything you ever need in one track." Can't find it in me to disagree. I miss Manny though.
Just my humble opinion, the original guitar riff with Manny C. is a lot better with the whammy bar sound. Jimmy Murrison is just okay, has a lot more to learn to play like Manny. Blackfoot has a good live version of this song, worth checking out. Manny C. is very under rated. Awesome talent.
McCafferty has received all the recognicion as being one of the foremost best singers ever, however, it depresses me watching this video and seeing how fucked up he is today. Agnew still has his shit together, but at least they're still holding on to the dream. My favorite band (Alongside Rainbow and Savatage) Keep on kicking ass McCafferty and Agnew!
What's wrong with the drummer? He plays like a drum machine. Where are the runs over snare and toms? Also the guitar lick is not played in a proper way. Shit!
Die stimme boar da werd einen richtig warm ums ❤️
Don't care what decade you are from this is great
I think it's an injustice that Dan McCafferty has never received the recognition he so deserves as a singer!!!
He is awesome to this day even tho he left the band. Like i tell my bro. He can belt out the tunes with no ear mics like the new lads
I think it
Penso o mesmo 🤜🤛
Das waren auch noch geile zeiten wo die musik raus kam

Som redondo, voz maquiavélica tal qual pede a interpretação, contrabaixo visceral. Música para quem exige qualidade! Nazareth é para poucos!
É de qualidade!!
UAU DISSE TUDO! MUITO SHOW, TOP DE MUSICA.
what an underrated band never ever received the recognition they should have received
Love Nazareth. Love Dan.
Awesome voice ! Way underrated group for years. They kick ass...best version of "Morning Dew".
The bassist makes his money the old-fashioned way, he earns it.
Still such a brilliant Singer.
Dan one of the best voices on earth
Brilliant brillian brilliant..still a great voice and superb band..
peter beard Not anymore. He's got serious COPD

Best version of this classic out there and has been since they released it.
Ken Harrington my god, you can’t seriously compare this to the dead?
@@user-ju7ze9to4k Nope, you can't. Nazareth's version beat the Dead's hands down.

I totally agree on that with u bro. His solos with heavy sustain are incredible on many songs.
Seen the band at a small bar in STONE MOUNTAIN GA. I think the bar was called Emanuel’s? 1986? 1987?
@crysisgpp

Brilliant, but I don't recognise the drummer or the guy on lead guitar, who is superb, can someone please enlighten me...
Ele não estava se sentindo bem
DAN parece não estar bem
Yes, it's depressing. If he would only be able to look the crowd in the face as before. But at least he's still trying!
Ele não estava se sentindo bem 😔
Manny Charlton did a great job on this, check it out, this is pess
:) xxx
why do most rockers have short hair today?? that kinda annoys me a bit.. i just love the 60's/70's flair
Nazareth eterno me introduziu no rock !!!
I didn't know Ian Dury was in Nazereth
Thats not Manny Charlton
No. It's Jimmy Murrison.
The song goes way too fast - drummer increeces the tempo to =(
An old alcoholic belching out a song that diserves so much better. A lesson in when to pack it up
A bit harsh
Drummer playing as though he's desperate to get through the song!
What's wrong with the drummer? He plays like a drum machine. Where are the runs over snare and toms? Also the guitar lick is not played in a proper way. Shit!
Don't care for the song.
