What i needed to know, well presented and straight to the point, without the too often seen, 10-15 minutes of "im in the spotlight" gibberish. Appreciate it! :)
Leah, you are one of my favorite diy people out there, your videos are always helpful and you are such a warm and genuinely nice person to watch. Always great stuff, keep up the good work, and may God pour his blessings upon you...Mike
I just realized that I watch all your videos with a big smile plastered on my face. To see a woman so relaxed and knowledgeable with such a gift for teaching is incredibly encouraging for a middle aged woman just beginning to learn these things.
Thank you, I appreciate the comment.
She is probaly offended you called her a woman? You are now cancelled for life!
Jane, thank you so much for your video. I needed to replace two broken panes that my rambunctious grandson broke. I found your video and realized all I needed was the correct saw blade. Got a pact of plexiglass blades and easily cut out the panes for the door. Job easily done because of your video. Keep them coming.
Leah, it never fails. I get so frustrated trying to do something, so I look online for an instructional. I'm always pleasantly surprised to find yours, and by the time I've finished watching a few minutes of you in action, I feel educated and inspired...like I can do it! Thanks for always being there when I arrive. You're the best!
Another informative and useful instruction video.
Same here!!
Here just to second this comment. I learned how to swap my first toilet Thanks to this channel.
Thanks for sharing - I didn't know a plexiglas jigsaw blade exists!
Just thought I'd mention, instead of using a scoring tool I use a box cutter and score the plexi a few times along a metal ruler, then snap it. It gives a super crisp and smooth break.
That's twice in one year this channel has shown me a better way to get something done
Leah, Absolutely love you. Every project I attempt you're right there. I brought 1/4in plexiglass sheets to replace wood shelves inside my fireplace bookcases. Been holding them for 2yrs. Currently painting the cabinets them tackling the plexiglass to fit where the wood shelves were. Thank you.
Thank you for being an effective instructor and for having such a lovely demeanor. You are my go-to resource for learning how to get projects done on my own!
Leah, once again you saved the day! I was sorting through videos to find out the way to cut plexiglass but I could not find a easy method . I should just go to you first. You always have the answer. Thanks so much!
Thanks for the short & sweet video on cutting plexiglass, Leah. Need to cut some 1/4" plexiglass, and wanted to quickly review the best techniques.
Leah, this is an awesome video, and I appreciate the talents God has giving you. I'm a professional glass cutter that makes customized figurines, things on the wall and even in fish tanks.
The only thing is I would not use sandpaper but instead a razor blade to take all the burs off.
Be blessed in Jesus.
It worked! Just like you said. Just a nominal investment in a plexiglass jig saw blade. Well worth it!
As usual THANKS! I just acquired several sheets of Plexiglas. That blade will solve another age old problem I have had cutting this stuff, You are great . Thankstony
+Anthony Seelbach you're very welcome, Tony, glad to be of help!
This was “Short & Sweet” and very helpful. I’m rehabbing my sailboat this will give me great options for some of my repair & design work. You’re my go to, not to mention….”THE BEST”!❤
You’re amazing!!! Thank you for being such a clear instructor! 🙏🏼
You are the kind of person that puts meaning into the phrase, teaching the right way. We need more of your kind and all the arts politics to make people realize they can do it.
I can't tell you how much I have used your videos on projects . . .short, sweet and to the point, just like I like it. thank you so much girl!
Thank you
Leah... I just bought my new blades to cut plexiglass for my indoor display. I am an artist and sell my artwork on the Powwow trail. I have been sitting on 50 new designs and wanted to use plexiglass to adhere them too and Now I CAN!! Thank you soo very much!! Awesome!!
+Naudi K That is great, Naudi, good luck with your projects!
Your videos are always helpful Leah!
Thanks for this video. Simple straight forward advice. I was looking for an easy way to cut plexiglass and watched several other vidoes before yours. I thought I would have to go back to the hardware store and have them do it for me. Now I'm sure I can do it myself.
Your attitude is infectious; an earnest good intention and positive affirmation.
Thank you for sharing it.
What about a scroll saw or band saw in a hypothetical professional workshop?
+Nadav Igra A band saw is what I typically use, however, I like to give homeowners and diy-ers more affordable tool options..
You took the words right out of my mouth!

You're awesome! Just went through several videos and I can now walk away confidently knowing that I'm gonna do this right. Cheers!
I've put off things that required me to cut plexiglass, as I've had so much trouble in the past. Hit and miss, with a lot of wasted material from cracks, or chipped edges. Knowing about this blade, I may give this a shot. There are a lot of decorate lamps and things, that sometimes need a small piece cut. So glad you put this video up!
+William Prah That's great, William, glad to be of help!
Awesome video. I want to start making frames for photos, etc & was looking at using Perspex. I never knew there was a jigsaw blade for this. You’ve made things a lot easier for me. Thank you.
Leah, as usually a great job. I've learned so much from your videos!
Leah, I love your videos! I subscribed yesterday after watching a video in regards to something else. Now I find myself watching videos about things I don't currently have a need to do.. But you do such a great job showing/teaching, that I watch them anyways. I really am left with the feeling of "I can do that!" when I'm done watching them. Truly! Thank you so much for all the time you put in to these. I for one, definitely appreciate them! Thanks again! PLEASE keep up the fantastic work!
thank you so much, I really appreciate your kind comments!!
Thank you!! I was skeptical of a jigsaw for plexiglass but the results are amazing!
Leah, as usual...you gave me the answer!! Did not know that blade was available. Thanks for ALL your posts.
I'm so glad I found your video. Your method is perfect. Thank you ever so much for posting this.
I agree with Nadav Igra! I was smiling the whole time.... I believe I can do this. I have subscribed and look forward to more videos from you..
Like your style, you explain things very clearly, good job.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom young lady and appreciate your lovely smile.
I've been using the scoring tool with my Logan Simplex Mat Cutter... It works 50% of the time. The other half of the time I've got problems. I tried the jigsaw blade method about a year ago with not very good results.... The difference is I didn't know there was a specific blade for plexi-glass until right now... THANK YOU!! God,...this helps!!
Thanks, Leah. I had that stupid scoring tool for several years and it NEVER worked out. I just flung it into the woods and will be buying the jigsaw blade.
Thank you for your videos. I never fail to learn something from you. You're amazing.
Years ago I made a Plexiglas extension table for my sewing machine. I used a jig saw
but don't remember the blade. I do remember doing a lot of sanding.
This blade would have been a God send.
+Angela Moore :) thanks, Angela!
a really big THANK YOU Lea, you are awesome. Great videos. I love the way you empower people.
+Linda Marsden you're very welcome, Linda, and thanks!
I bought the blade and made the cut without problems. My window looks great. Thanks for the video.
This video was extremely helpful. Gonna try these out for a new project!
Great tip Leah. Had NO idea a blade existed such as this. Have a fine day girl.
"I CAN DO IT!" Outstanding videos! Please keep it up!
+Sauder D Archer thanks! :)
Great video! Thanks so much. Helping my daughter with a project.
I love your videos. I always learn so much and your solution is better than anyone else's. Thanks!
Thank you very much Miss ,your videos are very good
Always excellent presentations. Simple, quick and to the point. All meat and not potatoes in my book. Keep em coming.
+Dzedo Granatovich thank you very much!
thanks so much for the tutorial...I am a longarm quilter and would love to make my own rulers..the average price for ONE ruler..usually with ONE design is $35. This would make so many more possible for me... searching for prices on 1/4" plexi in another window right now! thanks again...
As usual, you come up with the best way of doing a project. Thanks Lia.
Sorry, Jane!
Wow, did not know there was such a blade. Thank you Leah.
For me, the best method so far is stationary band saw. Super clean cuts and go as fast as you could push it.
College daughter is a graphic design major. We are making a shadow box with a plexiglass front for a mock up for one of her classes. THIS will make it a doable project for her-just need to get that jigsaw blade for her. Thank you for taking the time to make this video!
of course, and best of luck with your daughter's project!
Exactly what I needed. Thank you!
You're a good speaker and I really like your programs thank you.
+stewnodd you're very welcome, and thanks for commenting!

Excellent video! Very informative and exactly what I was looking for!
+Ottar Kraemer thanks, Ottar, glad it was helpful!
Can't thank you enough for this one. Have been suffering through with the manual cutters only to have a rough break which I'd have to clean up later. Just ordered the blades from amazon and should have it tomorrow. I'll practice on some junk pieces of plastic sheet
good luck with your project
thanks for the info. Did not know of this special blade. Always enjoy your videos and I am spreading the word..."see Jane Drill". thanks again
+IRVPIANODRIVER you're welcome, and thanks!
Another very useful video! Thank you so much!
I had no idea there was a special blade for plexiglass. Thanks for the education!
Thank you! Well made and informative video.
oooh....oooh.....I just found a suggestion on one of the sale sites to use a router to cut shaped pcs because of the good..square..and smooth edge....this will make some of the curvy designs for rulers possible...you have led me to a whole new level of design...I thought the whole plexi world was too difficult to work with for an amateur... but I have a good jigsaw and a good router.... you helped so much!!!
+deemail100 great, dee, glad to be of help! :)
This is a great tip!!! I love learning new tips thanks!!
Thank you, Leah. I've got a $120 piece of Plexiglas and I was really nervous about cutting it. This helped a lot.
you're welcome, Andrew, I'm glad it was helpful!
andrew Minczeski i have same problem :) my plexiglass 2,5 cm thickness. How did you cut? Everything ok?
Thank you, tried it and it worked great!
🙂
I love your videos! I think if you sped up your saw just a little you might get an even cleaner cut. I am not wild about my Bosch plexi blade, but I think I will try again after watching this. 😁
i have to cut a piece for a small job and your video was perfect. I recently installed a wood stove in my home and looked at some videos to cut tile. Just score it and it'll break cleanly! Yeah right. Tried it with a razor knife for the first ruined tile. Dremel tool for the next two. Ruined two dremel cutting wheels too and those little suckers ain't cheap. Thought I hadn't scored it enough the first time but ya'll get the picture.
Thank you for the information 🙏
Thanks so much! I will be able to this now after watching you!
Outstanding video!
Wonderful video, exactly what I needed. Can you please advise on how to round Plexiglass corners? Thank you Leah!
Dang! I wish I had known of this blade la few weeks ago....I cut some plexi using a utility knife and a hacksaw...........took FOREVER....................*(
