FYI, The Squatch package has about 1.5"-2" more ground clearance than Black Diamond. Base model Squatched is a better off roader if you're not gonna lift the BD yourself.

Jeep needs a new base model power-plant to compete with the 2.3/2.7 The low end torque on the EcoBoost is ideal for turning larger diameter tires without being ultra picky with final drive gear ratio/tire diameter combo. The Penestar needs a replacement Asap. Where’s the turbo 3.0Inline 6 they have been developing .

Everything you touch has that effect when you scratch it especially car roofs, you won't see it much with your naked eye or in dark places, sit in the sunlight or use a camera in your car and scratch the roof, literally you will see this, it's nothing new or bad or crazy. It's just particles and slight dust build up.

That's what I'd get. I have 2017 XL STX super cab with lockers and skid plate and rock rails, absolutely love it. And still not missing a leather steering wheel and scratches are welcome in my life. If I spent $60k that would just be not fun anymore.

This (mostly) single shot is what most channels cut together after 8 hours of recording. Also Andre and Tommy absolutely crushing all the details for each car. Excellent job!
I was considering a Bronco until Ford unveiled the Maverick. Its way more suited to my lifestyle and way more convenient with it's bed. Also that fuel mileage.. hope it keeps those numbers. The Bronco definitely wins in styling, but the lil Maverick will be the better buy for me personally. Keep up the great content though guys. Always up for more Bronco vids.
The Bronco and Maverick are two entirely different vehicles meant for two entirely different things. You're going to want to wait and test drive one. The maverick is basically a front wheel drive compact SUV with a small truck bed in back. It's only 191 HP and 155 lb-ft, so it's going to be very sluggish compared to a Bronco or pretty much any modern vehicle. The Maverick isn't at all off road or even snow capable. It's likely going to be the truck every lawn service and contractor fleet uses. I'd recommend a Kia Telluride over a Maverick all day long.
Tommy always does a good job making relevant points and recognizing Bronco’s wide appeal. Ford Bronco will obviously appeal to its main target of die hard off road enthusiasts. Additionally, it should also create a new market to include consumers like me who are not as interested in extreme off roading, but are interested in a fun , but more comfortable highway experience than the Wrangler with occasional light off roading in route to hiking trails/ camping spots, mixed with some use on beaches.... moving to Carolina Beach, NC where taking 4WD is allowed during off season on certain parts of the beach.
That base level Bronco with the Sasquatch package is just about perfect for anyone planning on actually running it hard and installing after market mods.

This is the most helpful video on understanding the Bronco line-up. I am glad there are so many trims, but that can also be equally confusing when figuring out what you really need vs willing to pay out.
Detailers are unlikely to ever see a bronco. I've ordered mine with the marine grade vinyl specifically so I can simply wipe down the seats and hose off the floors.
I ordered a base 4 door with Squatch pack, added the modular front bumper and the auxiliary switches. This thing has almost everything a Rubicon Jeep except dual zone climate control (don’t care) my passengers can live my temp and leather wrap steering wheel but I have feeling I will be able to find one on eBay after some people wreck their Broncos. Base with Squatch for the win!!!!
I've bought this type of vehicle in the past while living in Colorado. In my books it was always a base or "one up". TO ME, gussying up a Bronco, or a Jeep is like putting a skirt on a on a working horse. Keep it simple and... KEEP IT REAL!!!
Just bought a new 2021 Jeep Wrangler Willys 2-door. I think the Bronco WILL BE badass in a few years, but I’d never buy a vehicle in its first production year. They need a few years to work out the kinks. Jeep finally has a real competitor, which will force them to innovate. Looking forward to seeing these on the road!!!!!
If jeep drops the price of the Willys a bit to be in line with what your getting(BASICS !!) I'd probably order one. If not I guess I'll take a look at the Bronco.
I scored a Big Bend 2 weeks ago since the orders didn't allow for a Base model. I love it! 2 DR...non Sass unfortunately but I'm gonna mod it later...still badass!

Definitely some cool rigs. I feel like these have all become vehicles for the rich though. What happened to utilitarian work vehicles that the blue collar worker could afford? Like base model, vinyl floors, crank windows, manual transmission and 4wd. Yes you can finance, but for many reasons that's a bad decision. There is literally nothing out there with decent 4wd capability that could fit a small family under $30k new. It's become a rich persons lifestyle and the middle class of course will borrow it's way to keep up with the Joneses. This is why you are starting to see young people lifting and trying to off-road Subarus and crossovers because they can't afford a legitimate body on frame SUV or truck. Kind of sad because these types of vehicles used to be very cheap but now it's an image thing What we need is a 4 door Suzuki Jimny
I wanted the sasquatch package Manual but won't be out until 2022. I may wait. Although I already have a manual TRD OFFROAD tacoma do getting an auto won't be thread of the world for me. If I do go auto it will be paired with the v6 most likely.
Just got my base 4 door with a 2.7, modular bumper and bar with rock sliders. The extra money I saved vs other models will be used for customization: JB4-Ford performance 7X8.5 Raptor wheels-33 inch all terrains, air lockers and a window tint...for now.
That spinning thing is not "lumbar support" that is for raising and lowing the height of the seat. How does a person who reviews cars for a living not know that??
Got mine on 10/10/2022. Reserved on 7/25/2020. Base, 2D, 2.7, Sasquatch. It's a ton of fun to drive on road (which it shouldn't be). Super responsive, fast, handles like a luxury go-cart. Comfortable drive. Interior fit and finish doesn't compare to my 2021 Tacoma. Everything is kinda janky and plasticy on the inside. Not what I was hoping for. But take the good with the bad. I'm keeping my Taco for when I want to drive slow, in luxury. Mileage is actually impressive. I'm getting 18.2 all day long with 93 octane on curly country roads. I thought I was going to be looking at 14 or 15. No regrets. Very cool rig. And it turns heads... for now.
I have a ford raptor. But i think this will suit me more. I go offroading in the desert every weekend. I guess the wild trak is the perfect one for me. Difflocks are very important for me.
Not a big 4x4 guy but I have been configuring on the Ford website and for 52k I can get me a sweet Bronco. Sorry Jeep but I hope you guys are already well into a Wrangler redesign because you're going to need it.
@@danatkinson6698 You can get a front locker with a manual on the Badlands! You just have to settle for 33 inch tires and not the Sasquatch's 35-inchers.
If I could have afforded it I would have gone with the Bad Lands Sasquatch. But I'm a cheapskate so got my 2022 2 door Base manual for $28,500. Plus only a few extras. Roof rails, modular front bumper, aux switches, and block heater. Things I've added afterwards; Husky floor liners, grab handles, rocker panels, mud flaps, swing gate table, ceramic tint, 12" sub and amp. I'm going to "Sasquatch" it up myself 2" lift and 35"s. I still won't have the front and rear lockers but that's ok I can live without that. I absolutely love it and it was well worth the year and a half wait.
Actually if I could afford it I'd get the new Everglades trim. I haven't hooked up any lights or anything to the aux switches yet but probably next year I will. I did get a Bad Lands 'style" badge(s) but it says Bad Ass Edition and the mountains are in the shape of a donkey lmao.
The 2dr BD, 2.7, 10sp, mid pkg, w/ sasquach will be perfect for me. Fingers crossed, hopefully i get mine by this fall!!! Edit: to be honest I initially reserved a base with several upgrades, (sasquach, modular front bumper, etc.), but I was gonna have to be more careful with the interior as well as get skid plates. But with the Black Diamond i don't have to worry so much about damaging it when having fun, with the marine-grade vinyl seats and weatherized- washout floor and accessible drain plugs, as well as standard skid plates and rock sliders, standard steel front bumper... The cost in the long run will be worth it for what I have planned.
I've had bad luck with power window over the years, my Willys Sport is perfect! Rubicon Suspension, and only costs $50 to replace the window assembly. Power window assemblies cost upwards of $200
was looking at the Willys because I like basic amenities ( crank windows :) ) and a solid 4x4 otherwise. The drawback is their pricing is way higher than a vehicle should be with just the basics.

It is odd, but Ford reps recommend adding a tow hitch at the dealership or through U-Haul or whatever. It's annoying but not something you can't work around.
@@jacobbrooks4259 I'd want a tow package so I stick my pintle hitch in it and pull my M-416 military cargo trailer behind, and I'd like to do that on a bare-bones Bronco, were I to buy one. It's a moot point for me, though, as the more I see of this thing, the less inclined I am to buy one.
I can expect some potential buyers to swap their bronco engine for the 5.0 V8, especially now that the Wrangler has the 6.4 Hemi engine. Or they'll tune their 2.3 or 2.7 to make well over 500 HP. There'll be a huge aftermarket support for these.
The base turbo 4 is more powerful than the Wrangler V6 and the twin turbo V6 is a rocket. The price for the V8 Wrangler is ridiculous and most buyers cross shopping will be more than pleased with the Bronco’s engine choices.
According to the ford guys I've spoken to that won't be possible, the 5.0 V8 won't fit in the bronco. Even the Bronco Raptor version that is supposed to come in 2022 or 2023 will have the 3.0L V6 eco-boost.
Let me just pause it at 5 minutes to comment, you are correct the doors don't have speakers but there are 6.5" speakers in the kick panels. I have a non Sasquatch 2 door Base manual.
My major question...and I've been getting some heat for it, pun intended lol, while you guys are in the rear seats on the 4dr...with the A/C ON...can you even feel the air coming out of the rear floor only vents. This is actually a major thing for me since I'll always have a kid and sometimes our dog back there. We have 4 real seasons and being able to get proper heat and air in back is important to me.
If I could get my hands on the new Bronco, I would get the 4dr Base model in the bright blue with the Sasquatch package. 300hp from the 4cyl is more than enough for me.
You couldn’t get Sasquatch with a manual when this video was made. You also can’t upgrade to a bigger screen. You need to upgrade to different models, starting with the Outer Banks in order to get the high package that allows 12 inch screen.
Can u show a base model and a mid version and thn a higher version and thn like the best luxury/all the goodies on it. Of the 4 door ones. Please and thank you
Great video. i purchased the Black Diamond, but would prefer the Badlands. Honestly, theres too many options. there should only be 4. Base, Outer Banks, Badlands and Wild Track, and suppose the Raptor. The Raptor should’ve had the V-8. And Now there is the Everglades.
Base or black diamond models with sasquatch packages is all I would want on a Bronco. Much rather only pay 36 to low 40's for a Bronco versus paying in the mid 50's for a fully loaded badlands model with tge sasquatch package.

Tires won't last 20 years, just get the base and upgrade to bigger tires when the stock ones go bad, it's a no brainer why make it so difficult.

Base Bronco with the 2.3 and 7 speed manual is the one . Wish they’d offer that powertrain combo with the Sasquatch package .

Just got my base 4 door with a 2.7, modular bumper and bar with rock sliders. The extra money I saved vs other models will be used for customization: JB4-Ford performance 7X8.5 Raptor wheels-33 inch all terrains, air lockers and a window tint...for now.

Got mine on 10/10/2022. Reserved on 7/25/2020. Base, 2D, 2.7, Sasquatch. It's a ton of fun to drive on road (which it shouldn't be). Super responsive, fast, handles like a luxury go-cart. Comfortable drive. Interior fit and finish doesn't compare to my 2021 Tacoma. Everything is kinda janky and plasticy on the inside. Not what I was hoping for. But take the good with the bad. I'm keeping my Taco for when I want to drive slow, in luxury. Mileage is actually impressive. I'm getting 18.2 all day long with 93 octane on curly country roads. I thought I was going to be looking at 14 or 15. No regrets. Very cool rig. And it turns heads... for now.

I was excited for the Bronco until all the problems with my wife’s 2018 Escape. I just don’t trust the long-term reliability of the Ecoboost.

I have a ford raptor. But i think this will suit me more. I go offroading in the desert every weekend. I guess the wild trak is the perfect one for me. Difflocks are very important for me.
Base model Broncos also have AC standard. Features wise, the base Bronco blows the Wrangler out of the water. And I own a wrangler.

If I could have afforded it I would have gone with the Bad Lands Sasquatch. But I'm a cheapskate so got my 2022 2 door Base manual for $28,500. Plus only a few extras. Roof rails, modular front bumper, aux switches, and block heater. Things I've added afterwards; Husky floor liners, grab handles, rocker panels, mud flaps, swing gate table, ceramic tint, 12" sub and amp. I'm going to "Sasquatch" it up myself 2" lift and 35"s. I still won't have the front and rear lockers but that's ok I can live without that. I absolutely love it and it was well worth the year and a half wait.
Actually if I could afford it I'd get the new Everglades trim. I haven't hooked up any lights or anything to the aux switches yet but probably next year I will. I did get a Bad Lands 'style" badge(s) but it says Bad Ass Edition and the mountains are in the shape of a donkey lmao.
I have my VIN for the 2-dr Big Bend manual non-Sasquatch with the mic top and signature LED headlights in Cactus Gray.

Edit: to be honest I initially reserved a base with several upgrades, (sasquach, modular front bumper, etc.), but I was gonna have to be more careful with the interior as well as get skid plates. But with the Black Diamond i don't have to worry so much about damaging it when having fun, with the marine-grade vinyl seats and weatherized- washout floor and accessible drain plugs, as well as standard skid plates and rock sliders, standard steel front bumper... The cost in the long run will be worth it for what I have planned.
Can you please ask Ford why the Sasquatch package is only available with the automatic?

I've had bad luck with power window over the years, my Willys Sport is perfect! Rubicon Suspension, and only costs $50 to replace the window assembly. Power window assemblies cost upwards of $200
was looking at the Willys because I like basic amenities ( crank windows :) ) and a solid 4x4 otherwise. The drawback is their pricing is way higher than a vehicle should be with just the basics.
I wish they made the towing package available on the base. I really want a bare-bones bronco, but really need it to tow a small trailer.
Why would you get a bronco then? There’s a lot better options for that😂

Obviously there are better vehicles for towing. I’m not getting a different vehicle just because the trim I want isn’t available with a certain option.
It is odd, but Ford reps recommend adding a tow hitch at the dealership or through U-Haul or whatever. It's annoying but not something you can't work around.
@@jacobbrooks4259 I'd want a tow package so I stick my pintle hitch in it and pull my M-416 military cargo trailer behind, and I'd like to do that on a bare-bones Bronco, were I to buy one.
It's a moot point for me, though, as the more I see of this thing, the less inclined I am to buy one.

I just saw one at the dealership and they had it listed for $30,000 above MSRP.
I can expect some potential buyers to swap their bronco engine for the 5.0 V8, especially now that the Wrangler has the 6.4 Hemi engine. Or they'll tune their 2.3 or 2.7 to make well over 500 HP. There'll be a huge aftermarket support for these.
Will the 5.0 fit? The engine bay looks small tbh. An OHV engine, maybe the 7.3 will 😉
The base turbo 4 is more powerful than the Wrangler V6 and the twin turbo V6 is a rocket. The price for the V8 Wrangler is ridiculous and most buyers cross shopping will be more than pleased with the Bronco’s engine choices.
According to the ford guys I've spoken to that won't be possible, the 5.0 V8 won't fit in the bronco. Even the Bronco Raptor version that is supposed to come in 2022 or 2023 will have the 3.0L V6 eco-boost.
I assume by "some" you mean like 3 people, total.

Let me just pause it at 5 minutes to comment, you are correct the doors don't have speakers but there are 6.5" speakers in the kick panels. I have a non Sasquatch 2 door Base manual.
My major question...and I've been getting some heat for it, pun intended lol, while you guys are in the rear seats on the 4dr...with the A/C ON...can you even feel the air coming out of the rear floor only vents. This is actually a major thing for me since I'll always have a kid and sometimes our dog back there. We have 4 real seasons and being able to get proper heat and air in back is important to me.
I got a base and I'm adding suspension and wheels on my own.
If I could get my hands on the new Bronco, I would get the 4dr Base model in the bright blue with the Sasquatch package. 300hp from the 4cyl is more than enough for me.

You couldn’t get Sasquatch with a manual when this video was made. You also can’t upgrade to a bigger screen. You need to upgrade to different models, starting with the Outer Banks in order to get the high package that allows 12 inch screen.
Can u show a base model and a mid version and thn a higher version and thn like the best luxury/all the goodies on it. Of the 4 door ones. Please and thank you

Great video. i purchased the Black Diamond, but would prefer the Badlands. Honestly, theres too many options. there should only be 4. Base, Outer Banks, Badlands and Wild Track, and suppose the Raptor. The Raptor should’ve had the V-8. And Now there is the Everglades.
Base or black diamond models with sasquatch packages is all I would want on a Bronco. Much rather only pay 36 to low 40's for a Bronco versus paying in the mid 50's for a fully loaded badlands model with tge sasquatch package.
