I really do like the Bronco, however, Ford Dealers are really ruining the brand for me. Their greed and price gouging have really turned me off. I ended up with a Jeep Wrangler unlimited with the eco-diesel engine. I’m very pleased with it and having bought it at the height of Diesel prices in June I actually paid 1k under sticker.

I agree. Had an order for a Bronco, went into the dealer to test drive the one they had, and was told no test drive. They didn’t want miles racked up on their Bronco. After I complained the manager called me back offering a test drive. I refused citing damage was already done.

That was a great video Roman, very honest and straight forward. I too share the likes and dislikes that you pointed out. I took delivery of my 2 door Badlands December 5th last year and can say my wife and truly like it. Our dealer was great, we paid sticker price for it just as stated on the day 2 reservation order. First real test off road was last weekend in the eastern slopes of the Rockies west of Calgary AB Canada. The off road tech is amazing especially the trail cruse control. Driving down a -22 degree cutline set at 2 kmph, the way it completely controls the break and throttle is just mind blowing. We had one warranty issue, the FWD Module failed and our dealer have it repaired in 2 days and no problems since then. I so happy I bought it, I think Ford did a great job on bringing back this Icon of an off road vehicle. Thanks again for your review.

I just went off roading in my 2020 Ram truck with the off road package today and I can’t say enough about how capable modern 4x4s are and how enjoyable it was. They climb over anything with no effort and the suspension is gentle but firm. Just like this video, you can drive anywhere and enjoy them with confidence and relax. The usability of the tech in the Bronco is amazing.

Really wish I opted for the Badlands over my current Outer Banks but I guess I'm glad I stuck to my word about trying to keep it specced below $50K. It's far from a perfect vehicle and I've put it through its paces enough at this point that I have a laundry list of (mostly) minor complaints. More than anything else though, it's already been more refined, comfortable and reliable than any of my previous 3 Jeeps.

I have had a couple of minor issues but mostly just fixed them in my garage. Agree on OnX Offroad - the carplay integration is great and I can download the maps, display them on the big giant screen in the middle of the dash, and it's a fantastic experience.
Speaking of Korea, I wish I'd had a Bronco when I lived there. It's narrow enough for the urban streets in the neighborhoods, the cameras are fantastic for parking, and getting to Yongpyeong on a snow day would have been no drama at all (outside of the traffic). We watched a guy sink his camper trailer one day while we were camping out on the Hongcheongang. There were places to off road there, but not like here.

My "garbage" (aka: "FCA crap") Jeep (2021 Gladiator Rubicon) has been fine so far (11K miles). I don't have any brand-loyalty issues so although I DO own a Jeep, I'm not a Jeep fanboy. Further, I have no condescending names to call the Bronco, as I see Jeep (Wranglers) and Broncos as pretty much equal performance/capability-wise in the real world, both on/off-road.
Just got back from a 2400 mile road-trip (CO/NM/TX and back to CO) and my Gladiator rode very smoothly (due mainly to its longer wheelbase I guess)...a very nice road-trip/hwy vehicle.
OFF road, it's the Top Dog Jeep (Rubicon trim) so there's nothing as-is/from the factory "better" out there in the "serious off-road-focused 4x4" mid-size segment (have no interest in the 392 Wrangler, as it's just a vanity-vehicle with no practical use/value whatsoever -- same as the Bronco Raptor).
IMO, TODAY'S Jeeps (Wranglers/Gladiators) are the best they've ever been...when I got mine (April 2021) off a Jeep dealer's lot they had PLENTY of Wranglers/Gladiators to choose from then (even when Chevy Colorado ZR2s were unobtainable on Chevy dealer lots). I had ZERO interest in anything Ford/Bronco...which was just advertising hype back then anyway, just vaporware as NO ONE had one.

217 is pretty safe. 230+ is when it begins to break down, anything hotter than that is sure to cause damage. I used to run 200-215 a lot when towing.

8 months, 30k miles and 0 flies in the ointment. I do have a suspect motor build date - but has been 100% reliable.
Generally flies under the radar due to the Carbonized Gray paint - despite the fact that it is an uncommon configuration (2.7 2 door w/ lux and tow).
These are finally getting more common as far as the 4 door goes, but the 2 door remains unobtanium for many.

I got my Bronco around the same time you guys got yours but I had to change my order to the soft top. The soft top was one of the worst designs ever and was horrible quality. No solutions for a hard top, so ended up getting rid of it and buying an FJ cruiser. Btw if your interested in the bronco buy the 2.3 4cyl it’s plenty of power and I took mine everywhere and never felt like I didn’t have enough power.

I agree that the 2.3 has plenty of power, but there is no advantage to the 2.3 other than saving a few bucks upfront or if you have to have the manual transmission.
Otherwise, the 2.7 is better in every way (unless you have one of the few Broncos that have bad valves - which is not an issue with new production Broncos).

I think Jeep should make a Jeep XL. basically a full size Jeep because a reason lots of people won’t buy a Wrangler is they are too small inside.

I have had Jeep’s for years and my rear door hinges never had a problem with. The Bronco seats and interior aren’t near robust as the Wrangler. When you jump into a 60k + vehicle, the last thing I want to instantly feel is the cheapness of the cabin. As wide as the bronco is, when I take my doors off for off roading, my mirrors aren’t in the way of narrow trails. Also, Ford should have analog RPM instead of digital read out. Lastly, how do you think if you had a replacement engine in the Bronco, you can get back what you have into it? That being said, thank you for the review.

Here it is early August 2022 and I'm finally seeing both Jeep Gladiators and Ford Broncos on the road. I was almost convinced that both vehicles were internet "phantoms" because folks in our area buy 4X4 vehicles, be they trucks or SUVs, for work, hunting and fishing purposes and the only ones I was running up on were first edition models and they were on Mom & Pop second and third tier used car lots.....And not selling! Over the last few days, I saw several of both vehicles on the road in our area and with a single exception the Broncos were yellow (like the one in this video) the exception being black. I have reason to believe that the owners of the Broncos were expecting something other than the boxy station wagons they got. Oddly enough the Gladiators I've seen lately were also yellow and in Rubicon configuration. So, what's with the yellow paint jobs? If I were to feel the burning desire to trade in my paid for '05 Z71 Chevy Colorado for a REAL off roader I would go with the Jeep as the Bronco just looks cheap inside and out to my eye and are way overpriced for what Ford is providing the end user. Jeep may not be what it once was but everybody else wants to be Jeep, but they just can't pull it off.
