Hey man! I've never actually heard of you or watched one of your videos, but this one came up in my recommended and I've gotta say I like your energy! I actually work as an editor for a pretty large RUclips channel and wanted to make a suggestion that you can take with a grain of salt. Your content is pretty awesome, paced out really nicely, I think you MAY be bottlenecking yourself with thumbnails though. The thumbnail and title are like 75% of a video's discoverability, and the title is pretty solid, but the thumbnail isn't exactly the most enticing for new viewers. Ways to improve a 'weak' thumbnail are as follows:
1) Make the thumbnail relevant to the title. Potential viewers should be able to figure out the subject of the video before they even click on it!
2) Create an interest that gives someone a reason to click. So maybe show something from the video that is indicative of what happens in it, or something that makes a potential viewer curious enough to click. Again, the title and thumbnail together are a POWERFUL combo so make absolute sure they work off of each other!
3) If you want to use your face in the thumbnail, try not to take up too much screen real-estate with it. It's recognizable for existing viewers, but for new viewers who don't know who you are, the subject matter will be more incentive to click than your face!
I mean absolutely ZERO disrespect with any of this and it's not a negative judgment, so please don't take it as such. I just prefer to share the little tips and tricks where I can to help people out.
