You can find them in ModDb. - You can find your classic Deathmatch maps (They can be Team DM too) like: Castle, Causy Coast, Hangar, Lolwut, Rapezone, Sacred, Yard and Factory (This two last ones are based on actual maps from the sinlgeplayer campaign). - Domination maps (Similar to Control Point in TF2) like: Old Barn, Selles and Tribes. - Cooperation maps (They are similar to the Zombie's gamemode in COD where you need to hold your position and many hordes come making impossible to complete without someone) like: Corico, Factorial and Munist (It's funny because this last one looks like co_munist inside the files). - Push maps (Like football, with a ball in middle and the teams have to goal) like: Cacatoes, Mayanayse and Stadium. - And finally the "Forts maps", I thiiiiiiink they are Capture the Flag? I don't know, I haven't been able to make them work, but they are: Candytot, Moony, Rock and Well. 23:00 The video Klems was refering too is the series of videos called "Strange Faces and Noises I Can Make" by UndoTube. Specially 4th part. I recommend you to see all of them though, they are funny as hell. And yeah... there are sooo many little easter-eggs in every version of the game, references and speedrun's methods to work with in the game that would make this comment even longer so... If you're really interested check on YT the "Bisounours Party" trailers and gameplay or download them, it's a lot of fun too.

The context that this wholesome looking mod was taken down off Steam with no official explanation released nor agreed upon, I was totally expecting some offensive twist, and I was surprised that it never showed, besides y'know, the bongs if those count. Great video!
In hindsight, considering stuff like the Postal series and much worse stuff are on Steam, it's kinda obvious it was some legal mess that must've gotten it down.

Most modders are hobbyists, making stuff just for the joy of making it and taking the idea in your head and turning it into something real. It's the same reason people put hours of effort into model kits even though only they and their close family or friends will ever see them, it's just enjoyable to make things, even if you're the only one who's ever going to see and appreciate the final product.
Bisounours (the french name for carebear litteraly kissy bears) was made by a group of French FPS enthusiast that would meet on the French FPS focused website Nofrag, it started as a deathmatch mod then got bigger.
I remember downloading this mod on Steam for a joke, but was actually blown away and played all the way through it. The maps were so good! Thanks for the video, the interview was a great touch and very interesting 😄
Honestly I wish there were more source engine games with this cartoony aesthetic. I know TF2, The Ship and Postal 3 are a thing too but there should be more.
It looks more like a mod for gmod. Because the bears use the same walking animation for the npcs in hl2. And the uzi reload (smg reload) along with the crossbow (you know which animation) are also the same
I'm honestly glad that it was a copyright issue because I was worried that there was some secret sinister nazi undertones I wasn't noticing. It just being a cute innocent project fucked over by copyright law is still sad, but at least we can enjoy it for what it is.

honestly, the idea of a half life style adventure shooter that's all cutsey and toy-themed is kind of a fun idea, i think it'd be fun if they brought back this idea, made the enemies different kinds of dolls and the weapons different types of toys ect

This Shotgun and Uzi model looks suspiciously similar to ones from Worms 3D game.

the mod seems to be a spiritual precursor to supraland. pre-dating it by ten or so whole years, the beginning feels beat for beat like supraland 1/2
