Lovely supplies Lucy. Very nice embossing powders. Have you heard of the heat embossing buddy ? It is an anti- static bag/ pouch. You rub it over your card stock, then stamp with the versa mark ink and sprinkle the powder on and heat. The anti static bag makes the embossing process easier. If you don’t have one you can do a crafty hack by using a fabric softener sheet. That’s what we did back in the day before fancy supplies 🤣

I loved the Animal Mandala book, I would like to der a full fliptrough of that book. The last book is georgeous as well, I saw it on Kirsty's Color & Sketch too. I have to get the Ursula Schwab books as well, they are so much fun, I love the Rita Berman style of them, it is translated Rainbows, Coloring and Relaxing by the way, I speak a bit German and I can read it 😊. There should be a health warning on the Works, it draws you in to all sorts of goodies. I love the storage options and the paper crafting stuff let alone the brilliant 3 for £5 books. Favourite shop.
I love my trolley! I have it in black and it came with dividers for the top as well as hooks... awesome for all my nuvo drops and little bottles of acrylics. I think those flakes are a must! Awesome haul Lucy ... I'm not enabled at all 🤗❣

Gorgeous stuff. I too am intrigued by the embossing and die cutting possibilities. I have no idea how to do either. Your cart is a good idea. I don’t have room for one. The window is one side of my desk, the door the other. I bought the desk by eye(!) from a second hand shop 20 years or so ago and it just fits. This is the problem with cottages, lots of different rooms, but often quite small. Your room looks light, bright and pretty.

Smashing haul Lucy, I love that The Works have Sizzix goodies online, just a pain that you can't use a gift card on there and the wee branch shop in my local "big" town doesn't stock it. 3 x 10 means either 3 pages of 10 different designs or 10 pages of 3 different design. I love the "alchemy" of heat embossing. As Louise said, an embossing buddy is your friend when heat embossing. Have fun 👍

I added magnetic baskets to the sides of my cart to hold some odds and ends. They are low profile and out of the way. Just a thought in case you wanted to consider for the future. First pencils I bought where the staedtler and they where awful but that was before adult colouring was a thing and I did my own zen tangles to colour. I don’t know if they’ve improved but it doesn’t sound like it.

Hi Carolyn, yes of course. It just means making the book open right out so it lays flat for you to colour. This sometimes means having to push the pages or bending the pages right back🤗💖
