Ann is arguably the best female vocalist of all time with hits like Barracuda, Crazy on you, and Magic Man to name a few. Her sister Nancy is the blonde on the guitar(not a background singer) and can sing and play guitar like one of the best but doesn't get recognition like here sister, Ann. This came out when I was like 9 or 10 years old. This tune is about their manager. An off color comment and the rumor they were "Lesbian Sisters" for publicity. Anyways, "Magic Man" is simply rock n roll fabulousity! Ann Wilson is the female "Robert Plant" One of the great vocalists of our time.
So when this video was recorded they were singing and playing live but somehow over time the audio portion was damaged so for this version they overdubbed the original studio track, which would explain why a lot of her vocals don't seem to sync. The one with the bad audio is out there on YT somewhere.
The toxic relationship was with their first record label (Mushroom records) who ripped them off. When the band signed to portrait Records this song was released.

I grew up on rap for 24 years before I started checking out old stuff. Listen to Hearts 'Crazy on you'. One thing is for sure.. Music from Heart and bands from this era will stand the test of time. No one will talk about 90% of todays rappers- 90's rap and early 2000's yes. But the stuff nowadays is trash mumble
