1:29:00 Evil god challenge. I highly recommend Trent Horn's video on this. A maximally evil being firstly isn't a thing, bc nothing can be totally deprived of good. Then the great-making property of existence would not apply. Additionally, a MEB is less simple than a MGB.
1:15:15 He says some of the most influential people to him are those who don't exist. I agree. Take Spider-Man. But notice the evolution of a character like him. He started out as static ink on pages, was made into a cartoon, eventually to crude live-action, and eventually, hyper-realistic movies. It seems like the greater something is, the more we want to feel like they exist. So, I think his point works for us.
The Ontological Argument is the best imo (in a good version) but unfortunately, is tactically problematic, since it's hard to understand, and skeptics refuse to try. 😢
54:00 On the confusion here, i would say the Ontological Argument promotes a _multi-personal_ being. Obviously, we believe based on _special_ revelation that he is three.
This atheist, like most of them in my experience, is quite arrogant. Much smarter skeptics than him are impressed by this argument. Joe Schmid for example.
"I was a Christian for a long time" continues to say God needs angels and scouts. This is why you can't just be a cultural Christian, you have to study and think about these things. Haven't heard a more stupid objection in a long time.
