    That is a very beautiful video!
    I actually find it really fascinating and satisfying making the same design in bulk. Making one of a kind garments feels like a waste of time and a waste of a pattern. You also get done more within the time frame. And there'll be more people happy having those designs of yours!
    Honestly well done you! And thank you for sharing the process it is always a great pleasure to watch you work! Your videos are always so inspiring! ❤❤❤

      Thank you! I totally get that feeling. Though I’m a creative person, I think I’m also very methodical and I like things to be really efficient 😆 I’ll definitely be doing more batch/bulk sewing soon! It’s absolutely the way to go when you want to sell the finished items 🥰 You’re so kind, thank you! 😄

    Adorable dresses and I love how you take pride in the work you put into them. You put a lot of effort into making them look so wonderful. Some dolls are going to look amazing in those dresses. My Aunt Mildred used to make Barbie clothes and sell them, and I was always amazed at how they looked just like store bought human clothes. The details are everything that make an outfit look great and I love the lace and trims that you used with that cute fall print. I am sure that they will all sell, and you won't have anything to bring home. I hope you take videos of some of the tables. Take care.😀

    Oh, You asked us what we would like to see in a small scale fabric? I love the fairytales like Hansel and Gretel and the witch, Little Red Riding Hood and the wolf, 3 little bears and Goldilocks, I have some Lecien Japanese fabric that I have stashed away just to use for Blythe Doll clothes that I purchased long time ago. Renaissance, Celtic designs, Retro looking designs from the 50's 60's. Those are always fun too. Small scale Scottish Tartans and small scale Retro animals that are cutesy for Blythe Dolls. I hope that is enough ideas for you? I have a lot of ideas, but I don't wish to overwhelm you. Love this video.

    Thanks for sharing. I am used to batch sewing from 23 years designing and making costumes for school productions, but you need come at doll costumes differently because they are sew tiny. I’ve been trialling tulle scraps as lining for bodices as it doesn’t fray or add much bulk. I’m living vicariously through other doll makers at the moment, while my broken elbow heals. I’m so creatively frustrated, it’s my dominant arm!

    • @BethRamsden
      @BethRamsden  Год назад +2

      Oh that’s so interesting! What a fun job! Yes it’s very true ☺️ yes tulle makes a very useful lining material!! Oh goodness, I hope you heal up quick, I know I would be very grumpy indeed if I couldn’t use an arm!!! 😳

    I really love that even though you made them all at the same time, they are all unique in small but meaningful ways! Very cool! What did you think of batch sewing? Is that something you can see yourself continuing to do, or do you prefer completing each item in full before going on to the next? I am always a sucker for a good floral fabric and would love to see more in doll scale that isn't ditzy flowers.
    Amazing video as always and if no one has told you before, you have a very calminf voice!

If I can make little changes as I go, I feel like they are all still special and unique. They each are made with love 💕
      Ooh that’s a lovely suggestion! I love a border print, so I’m imagining a field of flowers, in the right scale of course!

    • @BethRamsden
      @BethRamsden  День назад +2

      Ah yes! Very much DIY, I recommend putting it into a needle tip bottle for precise application. It’s just white fabric glue (similar looking to PVA), diluted with water. You’ll have to play around with the ratio to get the flow how you like it. I always apply & let it dry before I cut out my pieces. You can press with the iron for more permanence (put a sheet of parchment paper between fabric and iron though) 😊💕🪡🧵
