Cane’s becoming the intellectual/long-range thinker that Kanan was! It can’t be understated how Cane benefited from Mecca’s influence and tutelage.

The only thing he's done is learn how to control his emotions a little better but he doesn't fully think out his plans and he still moving emotionally hints why he black mailing his daddy, it's also short sighted! He also keeps messing with Brayden, in fact it seems his focus has slightly switch from Tariq to Brayden, not to mention his interest in Effie. I wonder how that's gonna turn out lol!
Cane has shown the most growth of any character in this series. Season One Cane would never have figured out that Lorenzo killed Zeke.

Well explained Rudy, Lorenzo should have tried to teach Cane and make him feel valued and appreciated, but instead he alienated Cane by undercutting him and berating him, deeming him not ready. So it's not surprising Cane is using his revelation to blackmail Lorenzo.

All Cane wanted from Monet and Lorenzo was respect and to take over the throne once Lorenzo stepped down. Lorenzo always underestimated Cane. Under the mentorship of Mecca, Cane learned how to control his emotions and not being impulsive and reckless.
But b4 Mecca got hold of him Cane was doing the absolute most Mo and Renzo were right...and honestly they still are Cane is disloyal

I can see Lorenzo dying as a act of dying for the family getting caught in the crossfire cause remember back in season 2 he said he’s not afraid to die for them and with the potential funeral of his it could be cane regretting his actions up until his death

I understand why Cane did what he did I would have done the same thing. After Lorenzo messed up killing Zeke he became unworthy of leading. He should have noticed How Cane was tryna step up And should have given his eldest son the chance to lead knowing how much he fucked up I would have and would not have underestimated Cane the way he did had he done that Cane would not have turned on him and that hug would have been genuine. But Lorenzo ego is why Cane did it I feel him it's his time to lead ..
Kane is literally the reason they are all under investigation by the cops now! All of his obsession and jealousy over Tariq brought the cops to their door step, starting with him stalking Tariq constantly pulling up to stansfield to look for him. Kane getting the gtg to try and kill Tariq leading to the death at the school. Which led to them running on Zeke and his friends after the club and then Zeke running to carrie to talk. Hell the investigation into the pool incident is what put the Tejados onto Carrie and Jabari radar and it was how Jabari discovered course correct! All it was literally a snowball effect based off of Kane actions because he makes emotional decisions. He still makes emotional decisions hints why he black mailing his daddy!

Is it just me or has Lorenzo lost his king status this season.... Monet looks like she's running the show now, everybody's working hard to make her happy
Also do you think we're still going to get a Tajada civil war last season they set it up really well now they seem to be heading towards a Lorenzo death
It was odd the way they put her back as queenpin when they showed him being kingpin.

I may be in the minority but cane is over his head, making this move on his father. All Cane ever wanted was his father's approval but instead of earning it, he forces it through blackmail. Cane showed Lorenzo why he's not deserving of the position of family head; he's disloyal, impulsive and reckless. What do you think Monet will do when she finds out the truth behind this? She may do what she said back in season 1 and may put Cane down for good.

LOL....the thumbnail is hilarious! Since the 1st season, Lorenzo has BARELY displayed "King" status to me. Even when he got home from jail, he simps for Monet TOO much and she is STILL running things. I like that Cane's is wising up. But, what I don't like is the recurring theme of NEGATIVE father/son relationships in the Powerverse.
The writers got Lorenzo looking like a scrub in his own house. We'll see what happens later this season.

Going back to when Tyreek asked Cain to kill Lorenzo in season 2, Cain wasn’t ready and tyreek knew it but Cain is a different monster now he’ll kill his father if he steps wrong. It’s inevitable
Cane is unleashing his inner Kanan Stark & I love it.
I get it understand that Cane longs for appreciation and value, but how can he earn and obtain any of that with his actions from last season because what he did last season was the ingredients of why Lorenzo chose Dru over Cane and in my opinion, Dru is the smart option because he is demonstrating patience, Cool and levelheaded. He’s always thinking first and trying to think of every a scenario that has consequences in episode three Cane was talking about taking out his cousins and taking their territory and Dru said take out the connect make the cousins work for them and that situation alone was not wise or smart because it would’ve raised red flags, but it was canes call and so he’s put in the family and even more risk in more danger but I think Lorenzo knows that either Diana or Dru will figure out why he allowed Cane to call the shots
Cane is his own worst enemy boy this is gonna backfire for him
