Tariq really showed that he was both Kanan and Ghost in this episode.
Flashback to Season 2 when Kanan stood over Shawn and said "Now why you make me do this?" and that was what Tariq said to Jabari before putting the bullet in his head
Tariq setting up Tommy at the end with Monet putting a gun to the back of his head is what Ghost and Dre did to Tommy at the end of Season 2. And notice how Tommy said to Monet "Be careful with this one" which is the same warning he gave to Dre.

Monet has two monsters..Caine and dru..one in training and a step/potential monster in law..for instance Caine and dru kicked and punched lil guap 30 times..I counted..a big vein popped out of his head!..lil guap should be fertiliser..but for Everett..

@@AnykoTheDon he actually wanted Tommy to run both coasts but Courtney kemp said in her ig live that book 4 would be in Chicago and it would be set right after the events of Tommy’s episode I’m sure they’ll find someway to make it work because the actor who plays Tommy is from Chicago so I’m sure this is something he wants I feel the first season will end with him getting a call from 2 bit who is gonna tell him about Tasha snitching which is probably why we didn’t see him in the few episodes

Saxe and Davis have excellent on-screen chemistry, and to see Saxe potentially shift from prosecutor to defense attorney is going to be very interesting to see going forward.

This finale exceeded any expectations I thought I had. Honestly.
This dude Tommy drops a body in another series lolol and he'll do it again in his own series lolol. Tommy will kill Tasha and then it'll be Tariq vs Tommy when its all said and done in my opinion. Tommy's "death" was kind of lazy but its a great way to have him free in Book 4 Force. His I want all the smoke line was classic. Riq surprised/impressed me with his Ghost-like maneuvers. He'll never be Ghost but he can be his own version when his book is finished. Brayden, Riq and Cane will be a force if they go in that direction but whose to say Cane will be welcomed back so quick. 2bit might even be a sort of mentor to Riq next season in exchange to get back in the game next season. Anyway loved the beat and the video.

Its crazy how tariq grew up ina pretty house and rich upbringing and is still built tougher than most mfs on the streets
Don't get me wrong I loved Tommy coming back bussing at Tasha, but we know damn well that he would never do a drive by!! He was more of a silent stalker/killer like Ghost. None the less, loved the scene!!
Something crossed my mind when I revisited this episode
When Tasha confronted Monae she told her that she wanted out of the life because of what the game had cost her family. It seemed that she was finally agreeing with Ghost wishes to go legit and stop selling drugs. Did she ever share this Information with Tariq and if so would he follow his mothers wishes to leave the game or would Tariq still pursue it??,
That's something I hope they revisit in a later season.

@Rudy P.Magic, when Tariq said, “I’m the bad spot”, was the illest scene. I felt sorry for jarbari having to beg for his life. It’s not cool to hear a grown man beg, but I’m a firm believer all of my life, “you never overestimate/underestimate anyone.” He did and he died because of this oversight. Lastly, I believe Tariq got Tasha out the way so he could live his life as a hustler and be his own man. It wasn’t just to get her safely from Tommy. And I believe Cane got off more than he did with the girl he was screwing earlier in a scene😂when he heard Tariq and saw him kill Jabari. In order for Tariq to move up in the underworld, he will undoubtably have to make snake moves like Ghost did to become a kingpin. That means he will undoubtedly have to step on the Tejadas in order to do so, so I don’t think he will end up with Diana because of this.
If Tariq steps over the Tejadas it's going to be what Tony did in Scarface. Take out the family but take the woman to be his. Diana will be spared.
Jabari's problem is that he thought the real world was a book or the curriculum. The reason he was so enchanted with Tariq's insights in class is because Tariq actually was living each book they were assigned in class.

Tariq is smart and has a future in both the drug game and legitimate world. Tariq represents to Diana what Ghost was for Tasha. A much better life. Monet isn't going to let Diana go to school. Eventually she's going to get sick of just being a driver and bagging up coke in basements.
Now if Jabari got the advance for the book, does that mean the book is already completed and submitted for publishing?

Good point! I definitely think that and the Barz death in the pool investigation is far from being over so with Jabari being dead along with the book material (since he literally wrote it about Tariq), it’ll start having the cops looking more into Tariq, the Tejadas and the GTG gang and they’ll be connecting the dots more and more as time as goes on. I think we’ll see more of Laz Alonso’s character Det. Santana next season and most likely knocking down Carrie cause they’ve been eyeballing each other for a min. now lol

Santana may for sure, but Saxe and Davis are both in defense now, so if anything they'll be defending Tariq against prosecution in a future scenario
The episode was amazing with action, and clever well done writing! My only grip with the episode was Owl and Rico died TO SOON like I was really excited to see the first black supplier in the power universe just to be killed off that quickly🤦🏽♂️ and that owl dude always came in clutch, he could’ve been the next Julio....BUT LIL GUAP IS STILL PRANCING ROUND THE SERIES LIKE HE SHOULDNT HAD DIED AT LEAST 3 TIMES
