@@SupportGamin2024 nah it actually is, Tommy’s mom already knew about ghost and him dealing in the streets, in this case it gives momentum and chance for Tariq to get closer to Dru and Cane considering that they’re not only doing business but that Tariq’s intelligence can get them out of trouble with his quick thinking like how Ramirez did. Same way Ghost always did with Tommy.
I think that we could maybe see something that would floor us in season 5. Maybe a crossover between series? some old enemies of Tommy and ghost that they would have made in power book lll and Tommy coming back to New York with his new crew . Ramona , Tate , Elisa and that Italian family that’s didn’t trust Tariq possibly making an appearance. I think it will be a blood bath of killing off characters and maybe establishing new characters for book V . There are endless possibilities, but too early for me to tell right now. Once the other books are released, then we will all have a better understanding of where the books are going.

I wouldn’t at all be surprised if Lorenzo turns out to be the estranged brother Courtney mentioned that ghost had. Theres still so much to unpack with Ghost’s origins. I think Lorenzo will have a huge role when all that is exposed if they chose to write it that way
Kanan is really Cane’s Father... which is why he is Crazy and Darkskin..lol and Lorenzo doesn’t really Treat Cane with Love.. but really they didn’t do a good job of matching the family up.. None of Monet and Lorenzo kids look White Hispanic.. or maybe that was done purposely to Lead the Audience down this road...

Could be and he could name him James or at least give the child James as a middle name like he does. It'd be even more interesting if they continued the father-son killing theme where Tariq is killed by his son or if Kemp wants a stronger female power for the show it could be Tariqs daughter continuing that legacy.

Here's another thing to think about:
We have seen in the original Power series the art of perspective storytelling. Now, in this season finale of Power Book II, we can very well see it playing a part in Tommy's spinoff from Tommy's perspective. In that episode we can see his conversation with Cash (which we didn't see in the finale). What could they be discussing? And we can learn how Tommy escaped the car explosion, faking his death. Something a friend of mine was discussing. It would be interesting to see if these perspective storytelling can be seen again in the Power universe.

What Tariq did with Monet sneaking up on Tommy and then Dru and Diana picking them up was so reminiscent of how ghost used benny to save Tariq from Vincent, Tariq is literally a better version of ghost in the making.
I think people are looking at it wrong when Cane smiled at Tariq it wasn't because he could trust him now its because he finally has some leverage people kept calling Cane stupid and crazy all during the season his mom his brother but he's the only one smart enough to see they should've never delt with Tariq or trust him with that much responsibility of the business. he only got back in the game to get his mom out of jail now she's out and even though it seems like he chose Monet and her family he really didnt. but he cant just ride off in the sunset with his mom and Yasmine after putting the Tejada family in the spot they're in now no connect no street soldiers switched up the entire network Monet put all faith and trust of the family business to a stranger and the only one who saw that was Cane. Tariq doesn't have any real loyalty to the Tejada's but Cane knows he has Tariq in his pocket now Tariq promise to get Cane back in the family's good graces if he didn't kill him Cane see's that as a opportunity because the family trust Tariq more then him now but I still bet he's plotting to kill Tariq

Keep this in mind, Ghost always wanted to leave the streets and be totally legit. Monie wants to do the exact same thing. The drug game for those 2 was always a means to a end.

I do not think it should End good for Tyriq for all his sins including killing his Dad and getting his sister Killed.He never killed Kanan he Just Set him Up.

Just a theory, since Tommy obviously has contact with Cash then Cash may go after Tasha for killing his Mother and Tariq may find out but then if Tariq finds out and goes after Cash and Tommy then Cash's Father may end up holding a gun over Tariq but either Effie or Lauren may end up killing him and then Diana may just just go ahead and kill Effie and Lauren then Tariq might be Sprung and trying so hard to get with Diana but Diana after talking with Lorenzo may just go ahead and end up walking in on Monet and Tariq and just kill Monet and Tariq then she may kill Cane herself then she will be head of the Tejada's Drug Empire until after Lorenzo gets out and her Lust for Power may have her kill Lorenzo after she gets into a intimate relationship with Elisia Marie and with the Tejada family connections and the Italians through Elisia Marie Diana and Elisia Marie may make their own empire together.

Thinking about this video and Tariq having a new family with the tejadas.........I said this at the season finale of Power Book 2, but I don’t think we gonna see Tasha that much or if at all in season 2 in all honesty. I think season 2 is gonna really showcase Tariq being on his own and building his own life some more with no help from his original family
