- Continuing something ridiculous: beating the game without any crafting and without talking with any town NPCs (except Old Man because he is smelly).
Other generic rules are:
- Expert Mode, Softcore
- One world (chosen evil - Corruption)
- No dupes and major glitches

Took painfully long to upload, starting from the fact I had to go through dozens of pirate invasions, ending by that I started rendering black screen instead of video.
Whatever, here it is, enjoy my sufferings for the science.
This time it's only mechs because Plantera-Golem-Cultist-Moon Lord progression is going to be much more fluid.

Like the fact that Duke Fishron (specifically his wings) are not available in that playthrough, as well as any kind of fishing content. Bug Net is essential for obtaining every kind of bait before fishing and is only sold by Merchant which I obviously cannot buy.
Some messages are shown two times, but otherwise, great vid!
Great video love the challenge but you forgot to mention that you can get fishron wings before any mech bosses if you could manage to defeat Duke Fishron
Problem is that I can't summon Fishron legally in that challenge, since no Bug Net, but if somehow I could've, that would be nice workaround
And yeah, some messages like 1:37 and 3:45 are duplicated, though latter is almost intentional. Still feels bad to release it that raw, gotta check it better next time

The sad part is, when I first started terraria, my feeble brain couldn’t process how to play, it took me a year to access Hardmode. The first invasion me and my brother did, we got the coin gun. And sold it, regrettable.

Fun fact: in the mobile version you can fish without crafting or buying from NPC anything: in fact, you can find a fishing rod in a mini biome in the underground jungle and the bug net in any surface chests
holy cow you can't even fish with these requirements, even if you get the fiberglass from jungle you still can't get bait without the bug net which has to be purchased. my first thought was using fishing to get the ridiculous (at least for pre-hardmode, balance wise) pickaxe and weapons you can obtain but that's not an option

This would've been so much easier in 1.4 master mode! Although the game itself becomes much harder, the existence of the dutchman mount negates your lack of wings!
also crystal assasin armor and you can get empress wings and soaring insignia for moon lord
You need to farm for the Rod of Discord. It's essential for characters with low defense, especially with Moon Lord. His giant laser could probably one tap you, and the RoD makes it very easy to dodge.
Giant laser does 300 damage on expert
Yeah the phantasmal deathray is the hardest attack in the whole game because its very hard to dodge and hits VERY hard

Solar Eruption is best weapon. It can attack through walls, and 80% of moon lord's attacks cannot. :D

Simple enough. Ancient armor and mimic weapons (boss weapon drops)
Edit:Any good enemy weapons are good (bone marrow and stuff like that)
only good mimic weapon is daedlus stormbow, but you cant craft good arrows/normal arrows are very limited

@@nassatanatsu The Theme is called "Playing with Firepower," composed by Turquoise. It actually plays when fighting the Mechanical Bosses if you have Calamity Mod Music Extra installed, even if you don't have Calamity installed.
Calamitas and Supreme Calamitas have their own unique themes. Calamitas has Raw, Unfiltered Calamity, and SCal has Brutal, Stained Calamity, if you ahve Calamity Mod Music
Edit: Whoops, my mistake, that's the theme that played when fighting Skeletron Prime. The Twins theme is Boss 2 remix, and plays when fighting Calamitas and SCal without the Music mod installed. I should know by now to watch the entire video before commenting.

When I was speedrunning, sometimes we'd go for Hel-Fire from the underworld instead of Amarok. It does a little less damage, but it's just so much easier to farm HM hell than HM ice. (And you could always use the Hel-Fire to get Amarok)

My guesses are Influx Waver and some Golem weapons.
There are no other armor sets that you can obtain so you're gonna have to dodge really well. Maybe RoD.
Cosmic Car Key would also work.

I used the shadow flame dagger to kill all mech bosses. It’s pretty freakin good

You can also get the Duke's wings. Also, it might be a bit tedious, a tiny bit, but, get the biome keys. Invasion's with vampire fangs makes things a lot easier

I love how you just played the basic overworld music during the destroyer boss fight. I love how pushed to the side the poor metal worm is.
После убийства мехов с очень большим шансом начнётся затмение (большой шанс достать косу жнеца, йо-йо или крылья с мотрона, которого просто убить с коинганом. В джунглях можно добыть елец. Используя эти оружия можно попробовать убить плантеру. После убийства плантеры можно одеть споровый мешок (раз уж ты на эксперте) и отправиться в данж к скелетрону. Там можно найти кракена, используя который голем падёт. Потом можно пофармить голема ради одержимого топорика (в худшем случае кулака голема). Потом надо идти в подземные святые земли и фармить жезл раздора (без брони мунлорда почти не убить). Можно также поднять хп до 500.
Используя это надо идти к данжу и завершать игру. (Поскольку фрагменты башен бесполезны, можно попробовать выбить стингер и патроны к нему для мунлорда, а топроик или кулак для башен. Когда достанешь киркопил - расширь арену в храме джунглей для удобства).

Единственное, лучше будет сразу фармить Глаз Ктулху вместо Кракена (они оба после Плантеры, но глаз сильнее)
Ну а так все по делу, я и забыл думать про косу к тому же
@@CrabBar ты прав, но есть вероятность, что мотроны будут давать только деньги и сломанные мечи (бесполезны без крафтов). Также поскольку крафтить нельзя, в мире будет сложно призвать затмение (разве что хоиконуться в данж и взять уже скрафченные призывалки ивента).
Если же не получится, то как раз как план б и будет кракен.
Также попробуй выбить счёт разрабов с уничтожителя (с жезлом туч он у тебя убился легко). Фармь мешки с сокровищами до тех пор, пока не добудешь крылья. Также есть шанс (маленький, но есть) на йо-йо разработчиков, которое почти как елец.
Знаю, многовато советов, но думаю лишним не будет.

boi. i fought twins without wings and without potion effects. just use unicorn(or any fast mount) then a straight line. then jump over it when it rushes u. and easy. btw u have to use a ranged weapon

Capable is a understatement when it comes to the shadowflame knife. really fun too, also you could use any random drop bows if you farm out arrow zombies or EoC (he drops unholy arrows), the only problem is getting EoC to exist and arrow zombies is like 4 arrows per zombie at max so its not really that reliable. But if it gets desperate and all you have is stormbow its prolly possible.

I'm so glad they added Crystal Assassin Armour to make this somewhat more viable. It would be cool for the Ancient Hallowed Armor to be a drop like the other Ancient Armors though

just realised the both celestial and duke fish weapons are out of the question for the moonlord fight... you need a bug net for fish and you can't craft EVER, so no celestial weapons for you... hmm... so dungeon and martians are you're only choice? Hmm...
Just about that, also some golem drops. There are still good weps tbf
@@CrabBar ngl I've never liked golem drops, they've never been my type of weapon. I get them then sell them for that easy $$$ but maybe I should give this challenge a go? Might make me change my mind... also: are you gonna try this for calamity/thorium? I would love to see that! Calamity, strangely enough, may be the easier of the two mods despite being bigger...

Calamity kind of misses out on last 3 bosses since I need crafted summon items for them, but time will show if I'd like to compensate/ignore them.

1.4 made this challenge a lot easier: black spot, Crystal assassin armor, terraprisma, soaring insignia, empress wings, can of worms that allows a little bit of fishing

If Crabbar manages to finish this it will require afk farms traps and luck also if he defeats the moon lord hmm vampire knives will be a better choice in godly forge and paladins hammer legendary as for building IDK but one hint when you fight mechanical bosses try not to use to much mana and health potions and like i said before get items that can suck upenimie health
One more thing Excited for 1.4 update for terraria if you didnt seen the trailer already search journeys end but thank you for making glorious videos

The music you used while fighting Prime should definitely be their boss themes.
This madman took out the Destroyer with a yoyo and two clouds. It definitely didn't take me a massive arena filled with campfires, honey, sunflowers, star lanterns, heart lanterns, wired heart statues, like 10 different potions/buffs, titanium armor, and 8 seperate attempts

Oh I have an idea for endgame/before moonlord:
-Since you cant craft or no NPCs. You can beat Moonlord with possessed hatchet
-Your best summon is either UFOs or Spheres
-Your best wings is only mothron (prioritize mounts more)
-Use mounts more often
Flairon requires u to craft a fishing rod. Npcs cant be interacted with either so yea.
