half of these are permanently ingrained into my head from the amount of time i spend in specific biomes to get one thing that will *ever so slightly* help me beat one boss before its useless
It's always specifically the thing you DON'T need that comes up. One time I was in early pre-hardmode (master mode, btw) and I needed to farm for rotten chunks for EoW summons. Usually, they'd swarm me like a bunch of bees and it's really annoying, so I thought this would be easy. I got at most 5 rotten chunks per IRL hour.
Sometimes you can see some corrupted blocks on screen but there may be a lot of mushroom grass outside of your sight as an example, either music or background will make it defined, not always the blocks you see
I got everything except for the graveyard... I wouldn't say I'm good at the game, I would just say I destroy all my gravestones when I die, specifically so that the graveyard biome doesn't form 😂
One of my personal favourite skills of mine is that I can tell you every terraria soundtrack just by hearing the first few seconds of it. Every single one. Boss music tracks and all. Although I’m not great with the otherworld ones.

If you are doing a mage playthrough, in a corrupted desert you can farm the materials for one of the best early hard mode weapons. It's so good that it could even help with beating duke fishron if you are one of those players that beat him at the very beginning. Also, if you ever play calamity, you will hear this song a bit more.
I had to go there dozens of times because i kept going undergeared in hardmode trying to pick up my money back... and trying to cut off the corruption from spreading. I ended up creating an underground graveyard. And i guessed the theme right almost instantly
@dirtprime1379 If you're referring to the Onyx Blaster, that's a ranged weapon. For mage the hallowed desert is what you're after as it can get you the Sky Fracture.
I got all except lizhard temple because let’s be honest, the time spent in there the only sound you hear is the lizhard’s dying and then the golem boss fight then you shellphone home. Never really stopped to think it might have its own soundtrack.

1k+ hours in Terraria. The only even remotely difficult one was the graveyard one, and even then I still guessed it after just a bit of hesitation. The rest were all immediately recognized.

Fun fact: "Ice" is technically the theme of both the surface AND underground snow biome! Edit: This is actually wrong, old gen console's surface snow was called "ice" until the desktop version called underground "ice", then it was called "snow" instead

I have over 1.5k hours and I got nearly all of the songs right (except a few ones). Honestly, some of them were tricky since in terraria if you don't need to farm certain items (*wink to the tinkerer from mods*) then the playtime turns to be 10% of the time with an active event and 90% during a boss fight. Note: I use mods that allow building arenas much faster. I don't see a point in building something good looking for the 150th time.

I think jungle night, one of the two space or ocean themes (because they change day vs night, and some people might not be able to tell which is which), and the Slime Rain would have potentially been pretty challenging ones to include.

This is a game that my brother and I played while out feeding the cows, and I got my wife to join me guessing on road trips. We haven't played Terraria in forever but it's a huge part of my brother and I's childhood! Fun to see other people do it too
Got more than 500 hours in this game and i messed a lot of them up, i play with 30% Music volume and my own Music running most of the time so kinda hard to know every biome. Especially the niche ones like the jungle temple and martian madness

Morning rain has to be my absloute favourite purely because of nostalgia. There was a 6 year gap between hearing it for the first time as a kid and hearing it in a playthrough as a teen

Bring a starfury with you, you can use it to disable cactus balls and find different places to go

The instruments can be a telltale sign. All the jungle themes have flutes and woodwinds, ice has sleigh bells, desert is also woodwinds but “twangly”.

NGL I was expecting night versions of biome tracks and otherworld TBH
Got them all right, pretty sure any terraria player with a decent amount of experience would find this really easy.

The only one I couldn't quess was the graveyard.
That's a good reason why it's in the hard section.
i play with the soundtrack off and listen to other music but i still reacted so fast to most of these. i’ve heard the graveyard music so much in the past in my pvp worlds where everyone joins and dies, and i didn’t even realize it was music specific to the graveyard biome lol
Morning rain has to be my absloute favourite purely because of nostalgia. There was a 6 year gap between hearing it for the first time as a kid and hearing it in a playthrough as a teen
I have completed the game, and my next playthrough is ranger, i have spent countless of hours so i have heard a ton of these themes, i even listen to the BANGER OST

After 500 hours in this game, all the achivements and a succesful FTW run… I managed to guess the first five songs.
Re logic makes some of the best soundtrack ever that most of them can be guessed because they fit in so well with the biome they come from
For a second, I thought that they were going to throw in the otherworldly soundtrack. Thankfully, they didn’t - I got all of them correct.
fun fact: the Ice soundtrack only plays (played?) on the surface Snow biome on console edition, on pc it plays in the underground snow instead and the surface has the Snow (i think) theme

As someone who (and I know I’ll be publicly executed for this) plays terraria with sound off or watching a video in the background I am shocked I got at least 1/3rds correct
I don't play terraria, I just needed an area/level soundtrack from a popular game to turn into a dubstep/DnB Boss battle music, but this quiz was really well made. Keep up the good work 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dang this was too easy. I got them all. I would recommend adding in some Otherworld tracks for an “impossible” difficulty.
I only missed two, the one in the cemetery and the one in the desert underground. I missed the one in the cemetery because I'm not dying anymore and I really didn't remember the one about the desert underground, for me it was another song...

I still remember having the Terraria demo and finding that huge gold vein right under spawn. Hyped young me up a ton.
