Ive been making my own pads for almost 11 years. I started by making a bunch of post partum pads in order to save money and be more comfortable after my son was born, and now its my passion. I have Homestead Emporium, pink lemonade, UNpaper UNplastic, and PantBlingReusables pads in my stash (and a few others i dont know the names of off the top of my head) and i love all of them! But i also really love designing my own pads, choosing or hand dyeing the fabric for them, color coordinating treads and backers and snaps and toppers, and hand stitching them together. I dont use a machine, so i does take some time, but thats part of what makes it so rewarding! When im not making the newest addition to my collection or my daughter's collection, im sewing pads to give away to friends and family or to send with people going on missions trips with my church!
I have already switched to cloth and found the maker that works for me. I have no intention of building a massive stash so why am I still watching these videos? lol great video, thank you. Ooo, just got to All Fluffed Up, might have to get extra pads after all.
I'm completely addicted to HER pads lol! I'm also lucky enough to live roughly 2 hours away from them 😊. I'm not on Facebook so that limits me a bit on selecting shops but I'll definitely look into the links that aren't for Facebook! Thanks for the suggestions!
I’m so happy I came across your channel! I am so inspired by what you talked about that I’m going to purchase a sewing machine! Thank you! I have no idea what sewing machine to get or what I’m doing, if you have any advice for me as a beginner or a video you’ve made that would help let me know thanks so much. Also I’m brand new to cloth pads, I’ve never purchased them before and I’m a little overwhelmed by all the lingo and what the differences are haha. It’s really important for me to have an organic pad since I have health issues and I’m super sensitive to materials and chemicals. Please let me know if you have any recommendations. Thanks God bless!
I think this will be the next item i might sell in my shop. But I’m so much a perfectionist that i think it would take a while before putting it in my shop 🤣
What do you use inside the layers to absorb urine, and a soft top layer. I’d like overnights, larger and more absorbing and a light daytime. I m 72, have 3 women coming to live with me, so we need 120 a month
Are these shops still open? I'm making my own pads but would definitely like to try some here & see what patterns & fabric I like. They aren't coming up in etsy
Those pads are the prettiest I’ve ever seen, I can’t wait to buy them and bleed on them!
🤣🤣🤣

I've been using Lunapads and absolutely love them....They are a bigger brand tho it's cool that you are bringing awareness of smaller makers!
That Sailor Moon pad you have is gorgeous!!!
Homestead Emporium will ship to the USA now :)
I have seen other reusable pads. those are very pretty but look very slim. do they work for heavy flows?

I sat can’t find most of these links. Are they no longer in service.
What’s the pretty pattern ontop that is used ? Is that part absorbent
i am so confused which way up these are meant to be used. all women in the uk say that the planer gray side is the side to use ....

Great video!! Want to sew my own, but need samples first.

Some of the fb links said they are broken 😭
Great video. Can you share the link for the sewing tutorial?

No she closed shop
Those pads are gorgeous. I’d like them with wings. If she has then I’m a customer.
