Yes most tutorials don't tell you that you need to buy a zipper slightly longer than you need so you can sew far enough without the zipper pull getting in the way when you get to the bottom, and then cut off the excess zip. I just need to remember than when buying zips.
Isn’t that the amazing thing about sewing? So many different options. The seam allowance and thread is a more accurate measurement than drawing a line. But you do you.
Hello. I have a new bernina sewing machine and a newbie sewer. First time using my foot 35 to sew invisible zipper on a throw pillowcase. When I sew the zipper on the 100% cotton fabric I’m using curls so bad... I even added interfacing on the area where I will be sewing the zipper and it still curls. what other suggestions can you give to help the fabric from not curling? Thank you for your help.
A couple of methods recommend ironing on a width of interfacing of where you are going to sew your zipper. Rosebud does as well as Kenneth D King. And extend the interfacing past where the zipper is going to end.
Excellent detailed explanation thank you
Thank you for this video! Very helpful and clear.
Outstanding demonstration, thanks!
I LOVE your top! Thank you for making the invisible zipper look easy…
Thanks, we have another video where I show you how to copy it.

Could you have draw a line with a Frixion pen then remove it with iron instead of stitching with red thread on the first part ?Thanks

I have never had cotton fabric curl. Are you using a knit?
No, i am using 100% cotton. I even reduced tension from default 70 to 50 and fabric still puckers. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you
