I dont know how late a response this is but I struggle with having fish in a a small tank. I worry about the happiness of the fish lol. Love using tanks for stuff like this though
What i liked about this video is that you didn`t get too technical about focal point, grids and so forth. I enjoyed watching it. "The more you scape, the more you`ll get better at it." - my key take away.
Great video, I love hearing the basics. We tend to forget them as time goes on so its good to have a reminder every now and then. Im super excited about the scape-it program you shared. well produced video with lots of detail that most other tubers dont cover in one video. Would love to see the same for a no filter, low tech shrimp tank (no boosts used). Getting in to this hobby but all the Technology is a complete eyesore and so ugly so a non tech approach would be interesting to see.
You've done some very original aquascaping creations. Sometimes so many look all the same, which is probably unavoidable unless a person is a real forward thinker and who has a very strong creative spirit.

Yes !! i set my timer for lights from 2pm to 10pm !! nobody told me when i started aquascaping....people told me 8 hours...ok 8 hours but i want to see them at night.
You can do 8 hours at night!

Clear and concise explanation. I’m starting out with my first tank. Planning to keep a school of neon tetra, Cory Dora’s, snail and probably shrimp. Would I need a tank lid ? I see conflicting information on lids
You don't need a lid, but without a lid there is always a very small chance a fish might jump out.

No mention of a sump here in the filter section. I'm really keen to try this, seems to have huge benefits over canister filters, but am a little daunted by the plumbing, possibility of failure and flooding and noise levels ? Great beginner video, many thanks

It is really good watching the video but I am really fed up with algae is building up and anubias are covered with algae kindly advice
Maybe the Anubias is getting too much light? Adding some fast growing plants also helps a lot.
