    Your vid is easy, no excess talking, no dumb commentary, we just wanna see the actual visuals with camera honed in closely to the work. Yours does that in spades. BEST bedsheet yarn vid on the internet.

    This gave me the best problem. I used 2 yards of stretchy fabric. I have too much of a good thing 😅

    Wow thank you! I am not good at sewing and most tutorials recommend sewing it into a tube first.

      This is a great way to avoid that. You just have to take it slowly and carefully. Good luck!

    This looks fab. Can I please ask how do you stop the cut fabric fraying? Thank you

    • @ChristinesCrafts
      @ChristinesCrafts  Год назад +1

      I don't. That is just part of the charm with cotton fabrics. If you make your yarn out of old t-shirts then when you pull the yarn it rolls up and does not fray. You can see how to do that here ruclips.net/video/71f-SSM7J7M/видео.html 😀

    I’m not sure what I did wrong but it has to be in my fold because all of the cutting I did correctly. I wound up with only 2 strips connected. So 2 strips connected tines about 20

    • @ChristinesCrafts
      @ChristinesCrafts  4 месяца назад +1

      Oh no! My guess is that when you cut through the ends you did not move along one on the back piece. At 3:44 in the video I cut through the pieces.
      Note that I cut through the first strip on the top level and then every other one but I cut through the second strip on the bottom level and then every other one. This is really important to make one long strip. Watch that section again and see if this is your mistake.
      I hope this helps. Good luck! 🙂

      @@ChristinesCrafts Thank you for answering. I did do as you suggested, that’s cut the first one on top layer and begin with the second layer on the bottom. I think it was my fold…aim going to do another sheet and try to fold it differently. I’ll let you know!

    • @ChristinesCrafts

      @@scubachix4215 Have a go but just do a few strips in case it goes wrong. Once you have it mastered you can do the rest! Good luck!

    Should I preshrink/launder fabric?

  • @kendralynnecrochet

    If using a bed sheet would I fold in half the two long sides together or the two short sides? I can't really tell based on your fabric.

    • @ChristinesCrafts
      @ChristinesCrafts  Год назад +1

      I would fold the two long sides to meet each other but it wouldn't really matter.
