    If he received a 2 shot penalty for that the video didn't say why I know in hockey play would called for striking the puck with a high stick must have the same rule in good. Shame.

      The rule is that you can't "straddle the line". It's meant to prevent someone from putting like a croquet stroke between the legs, facing the hole. Technically, he broke the rule...but maybe they need to alter the rule so that it only applies to putting.
