  • Back in the 1880s, UK Fishermen caught 17 times more fish than they do today. We have depleted our coastal seas’ fish populations, but how can we change this? The University of York’s Professor Callum Roberts explains why marine recovery around our coastlines is possible and how marine protected areas could see our seas leaping with life once again.

Great video that is both visually appealing and scientifically interesting - a rare combination, thank you! It is clear the ecological benefits of land-based parks, such a shame that we are not as supportive of ocean-based parks at the same level.

These are just great BUT, it would be nice to know--exactly where the boundaries are. So, you are in your boat, and here in California, the DFG HAS THE NERVE TO SAY "you have probably been in one---and didn't even know it" Ha HA, not so funny when they arrest you. Look on line to find out how to know where the boarders are--we need software for our chart plotters and go apps for our phones , that are easy to install
