It's funny you mention the Pantera influence because they actually cover Pantera's Walk live at this concert, but they have a fan from the audience come up and perform the vocals for fun. Dude absolutely kills it too.

I really love how you mentioned the switching between the heavier vocals and the cleans, and mixing that shit with stage presence, because these are the things that can easily get overlooked and it’s kind of important to know. That stuff’s difficult, especially when you’re a band like these and tours can have anywhere between 30-50 (if not more) gigs and you’re expected to keep that up 🤯 Good job, Aileen! 👌🏼 ✨

the chorus of this song always gives me chills, cause it reminds me of the Rev, he was such an amazing and talented drummer.
Fun fact about the studio version of this song the rev the drummer did the scream in the bridge right before the solo and he did it for 21 seconds consecutively! He was truly a insane dude

The Rev was just an absolute monster!! One of THE best drummers of our era and all time!! His mastery over the drums, rhythm, power, intensity, ingenuity were legendary and ground-breaking all while singing with his unique sound and insane range! RIP Rev!!!

Seen A7X Live in 2017. They were supported by Disturbed and In Flames. Outstanding show and this song was a highlight for me. I first heard A7X in 2003 when I heard the song 'Eternal Rest' from their 'Waking The Fallen' album and I was hooked. 'Afterlife' from their 2007 self-titled album is my favourite song of theirs. If you ever get a chance to see them live you won't be disappointed. Great reaction as always. 🤘😆🤘

Always loved this live performance. I play guitar and I've always loved played Avenged songs. I used to jam with a drummer who had so much talent and this was one of our favorite songs to play together

Avenged Sevenfold actually was being played at one of my favorite bowling alleys while I was bowling, which is Streamwood Bowl in Illinois, plus this was one of the songs that was being played there. It's also better than Hail to The King tbh.

Hi Aileen! There's a band my brothers and I use to listen to named Disciple. They have a song named Scars Remain. I'd recommend listening to it!
I know this wasn't their most popular song, but I really like this one. Not that their other stuff isn't great, but this one just felt more... something, hard to say what the real difference was, maybe "grounded" (which, given the lyrics, is strangely appropriate). The official music video was really well-done as well.

Another great reaction to another great A7X song. You need to dive into their back ground as well. They have (well except for their drummer Brooks) all been friends since elementary School, including their original drummer Jimmy "the rev" Sullivan,godspeed Jimmy . M Shadows and Synyster Gates are actually brother in-laws as they are married to identical twin sister's who they have also known since elementary school. It's a incredible history they have together.
