Get a quick win! Painting Mybillor Darkfang

Sometimes you need a successful small project to get a quick win that powers you over a hobby slump. That's what the Warhammer Commemorative Series kit, Mibyllor Darkfang, Chaos Sorcerer Lord kit was for me. I got this as me year 2 freebie for subscribing to Warhammer Plus.
It was a quick, fun, less challenging project. I mostly used drybrushing to maximize the contrast between the light and dark spots and give the project a striking look. Since I don't have many Age of Sigmar models and no armies, I didn't feel the pressure to do a great job. I focused on having fun, picking new colors and getting a project finished.
How do you folks get out of a hobby slump? I think this will work for me, but only time will tell. Wish me luck!

I dig the mood these minis create. Especially the contrast on the robe with the dark undercoat, dry brush, and metallics. This would be a win for me!
