Very interested in seeing follow up, you might touch on the fire regulation aspect of the attic conversion and if it impacted on rent yield, client type, costs to make complaint ect
2:09 On the laneway across the road was the film location of the family home in Angela's Ashes. I wouldn't call the neighbourhood Tinseltown, but it does have a Hollywood sprinkle, just like Terry.....
Interested in the follow up video. Particularly all the steps around renovation, resolving issues and the projected yields vs actually achieved yields.
Yes terry, your last two videos have been great. In fact all of your videos are great. I would like to see an update also. I don’t know why I didn’t subscribe before, but I have now. Cheers!
Good luck with the property, I would like to see a follow up and ongoing story of the property. Luckily you can sort out the legal issue which I think would scare off most investors / purchasers.
Be interested in the attic conversion, how they managed to get a Velux on the front of the property although that's perhaps the dodgy planning issues you spoke of. €1,800 is reasonable, a shrewd investment alright, flip the property in 24 months for a nice profit or even hold on to it. All the best.
As a Cork person I believe that you got a very nice property in a great location. I would be interested in a video about the auction process and the costs involved.
Digital fraud like Taillte Eireann to cover the papertrail of Crime by banks politicans coveyance solicitors who are aware that its fraud as there was no deed of transfer signed by the owner forged documents will be the rock they perish on.
I enjoy watching Terry's commentaries on all things legal, but I feel v sorry for those who are trying to get on the housing ladder, who see financially well-padded individuals making it virtually impossible, as they expand their portfolio.
The fact that he posted this video with no sense of shame for his horrible avaricious deeds at the expense of struggling families and young people is horrific. Scumbag landlords should be embarrassed and ashamed of what they do.
I had to look at the video a second time.i think the property will need modernisation. I think you are the man for the job.I wish you the best of luck with the property.
Yes Terry.A follow up video on the close of sale and inspection of the property. Also it would interesting to see you plan for repairs etc and the costings .Also would you use an estate agent to lease the property?. Tnx Terry.
If the property title has a contesting pre-existing owner Terry could lose all his investment in an instant, if consent was not obtained. If the contract has a cooling off period I would use that asap in these circumstances.

Yes, I would like to see a follow up video to know how much you had to spend on it to prepare it for renting. Also, a video on the most common issues when buying at auction that you are aware of. My daughter is renting in Cork. €1800 for a 2 bed on a main road beside a pub, with no front garden seems too much.
You’re a gas man altogether, it feels like only last week you were sharing a cautionary tale of dealing with the RTB, and yet here you are again diving straight back in! The very best of luck with it, I can’t wait to see how you get on.
I don’t make decisions on limited data or sample size. I’m involved in property since December 1986. I was wiped out with the Celtic Tiger. But circumstances change 😉
@@terrygorry ah yeah, I’ve been watching your videos for a while, and know you are a man of broad and varied experience, and who has definitely seen both days. I guess we all take lessons from what we see that are broadly in line with our existing prejudices - the RTB video confirmed to me that I never want to a landlord, accidental or otherwise, in Ireland 😊 this latest venture for you could become a good repeating source of content apart from everything else, which I look forward to 👍
Terry apart from what the yield might be and the general value of the purchase . I would be very interested how you came to see it as value and issues around the legal pack .. etc .. you obviously trusted your instinct to buy ..Thanks for posting..
@@That_Guy_In_The_Sky Why would it be a disgrace? Because you're doing it to leech off society and line your own pockets by providing nothing, and worsening a crisis in housing where young people cannot afford to buy homes.
Great to see you back talking about bread and butter issues instead of meandering off script and scolding naysayers for their comments. Pay them no mind. Their brazen effrontery evaporates when exposed to your radiant brilliance!!
Interested in a follow up video. You took a big risk when sight unseen, there could be some surprises when you get inside. Then again if you got it for a fire sale price there's no worries you can always make it back and more i'm sure.
The greed of scumbag landlords buying up all the homes in cities on a whim because "it is a good price", pricing us young people out of ever owning a home, so these rich pricks can profit off us forever. These actions are destroying any hope for our younger generations. Makes me sick.
Your spot on with your summary, €1,800 does sound a little ambitious but I wouldn’t be surprised if you get it,I have one nearby, best of luck with it 👍

I'll stay in France so. Two bed house in my area €450 per month for a nice 2 bed not next to a pub with a garden. For something like that in a not nice area here perhaps 350 per month.

Now you’ll
Have to show us inside and when it’s ready for rent. Wishing you lots of success
Terry, you are a property developer at heart!

€1800 rent for that, wow. I have two rental properties in central Waterford city (7 bedrooms in all) which only generate €1800 pm. 😭
Aye, rent is low in Waterford for sure, a 2 bedroom apartment in Cork City will pull in €1,400 to €2,200 in reasonable to good locations.

Big question , what did the property cost?
He wont say .The tax man may be watching ,so he should not have mention the potential 1,800 either .

Do mind me asking, was it sold with the owner's consent?
Hardly as he said ownership was contested .
So he doesn't have any proper title to the property. I would get mu money back fast.
