My man you fought even after that injury. It looks excruciating but couldn't stop you. There is a reason why we love you so much, not because you win all the matches you fight but because of your love, dedication, and madness towards this sport. Love you man!! You'll always have the same place in your fans' hearts.❤️

Lol - levan withdraw from practise pull just because his hand were pumped after pulling couple of guys on larry wheel channel🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 just to put things in sensible perspective what actually happened at KOTT4 - eddie hall, the strongest person on the planet withdrew from match for 6 months, and even after 6 months, in the match, he couldn't able to hold his arm up, while larratt on the other hand, after having this catastrophic injury, without ever uttering a word of complaint, continued in this unbearable condition. Neil pick up analysed this event in his podcast, devon didn't need to continue on after that but he still did for all the people across globe. as a matter of fact, everything after 2nd round means nothing.
levan is considered the powerhub, but in spite of all of power and strength advantage, he was hanging on larrat arm, and yet he was unable to bury his arm and devon is half of his weight, touching his 50's Lolll 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 claiming a victory over opponent injury means simply nothing.

Neil pick up analysed this event in his podcast, devon didn't need to continue on after that but he still did for all the people across globe. as a matter of fact, everything after 2nd round means nothing.
levan is considered the powerhub, but in spite of all of power and strength advantage, he was hanging on larrat arm, and yet he was unable to bury his arm - devon being half of his weight, touching his 50's 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 claiming a victory over opponent injury means simply nothing.

That is what am saying, Devon did not even get as big as he did when he faced Todd. I think he will even need to exceed that size when he pulled against Todd in order for him to at least have a chance against Levan as in at least hold his hits for him to be able to do the kings move more effectively to tire him out. I think that if someone has the stamina of Todd or Devon and at the same time the strength to hold Levan's hard and kick hits then he is beatable cause he knows he doesn't have the energy for a long match, that is y he finishes match as quick as possible by running through ppl cause he is able to do so with his Damm gorilla looking strength.

_"how this moulds you into something even more frightening?"_ That'd be apt phrase for Levan. As for Devon am sure he'll step down into Rank5 to Rank15 league. He had an amazing run as an AW and we'd love to see him be the ambassador of the sport while he continues to pull elite AW on occasions. We wish him best of luck for his future endeavors whenever he resumes pulling after recovering from the injury.

    • @betterness23

@@user_1abc Devon pulled John Brzenk just last year. And John has 10 years on Devon (he's 57). People acting like this is Devon's last rodeo are going to be surprised. Levan actually runs the risk of becoming stagnant because no one posses a threat to him right now. Grant it, his "stagnate" is pretty awesome.

    • @user_1abc
      @user_1abc 2 года назад

@@betterness23 Devon and John never had a 40 kg difference. And that 40 kg difference is despite Devon being in his heaviest/strongest form and Levan actually losing a few kgs to gain agility/endurance. And Levan of today is not just any 170 kg guy but a guy who has fantastic table IQ(which the likes of Chaffee lack) on top of herculean strength (I am told he curls more than prime Denis) and reasonably low fat % in that weight group (>150 kgs). I don't see Levan coming below 170 in the next 5 years. Devon crossing 130 (at this age) neither. So, in the next 5 years, I doubt if Devon will win a 6-round match against Levan. 10 years is not much foreseeable so won't speak about it. It's another thing that there was/is no such need for Devon to pin this one monster who is anyway way out of his regular weight class. Devon has had an amazing run as a marquee AW, and now as one of the best ambassadors of the sport. So this loss won't render his career to zilch. On the flipside this win is big deal for Levan as he has managed to remain undefeated for the last 3 years. But yeah, John is a GOAT and I too am not sure if Levan would be able to replicate John's longevity of career as epic doses of gear start back firing no matter who you are - sooner (late 20s to mid 30s) or later (mid 40s.) Thank you for your time and comment. Cheers!

Devon's Candidates who could beat Levan, and my attempt to learn about them.
    Up-comers:
    1) Ermes #Gasparini (just 106-120kg, 4x World and Multi time European champ, currently in his peak and getting stronger)
    2) Alex #Kurdecha (massive 150kg, age 33 Polish Champion)
Russians (they've had few international competitions due to the Ukraine crisis):
    1) Dmitri #Silaev (age 23, huge dude, higher body fat than Levan)
    - Was just defeated by an 85kg opponent.
    2) Vitaly #Laletin (110-135kg, age 33, 159kg grip strength)
    - 7x World Champ
    3) Denis #Tsyplenkov (144kg, age 40, Strict Curl world record of 113kg)
    - Devon would love to see them fight with both arms for a chance to have the Legacy Hammers united)
Any new giants would need 5-7 years to have a chance against Levan Devon estimated.
    - Partial curl of 300lbs
    - Wrist curl of 220lbs
I imagine Devon observed a similar phenomenon as in other unlimited weight class sports: Bodybuilding (current champ 135kg vs Arnold 107kg), Boxing (Ali 191cm/107kg vs Tyson Fury 209cm/120kg). To beat a skilled giant like Levan, we'll need a more skill or stronger opponent.

i was thinking the same thing, thats really what it would take to beat levan a guy the size of andre. would be awesome to see that but there just is no arm wrestler in the world like that , all the biggest guys are not arm wrestlers and like devan says it takes at least 5 years to become a proper arm wrestler, body builders that are just coming in start very weak, . Thats why its so clear levan gonna be champ for such a long time cause no one has the size he has and has the technique as well. Even denis at his prime prolly would have lost to levan. The best chance from my view is VITALY LALETIN , if he gained 80 lbs of pure muscle he could give levan a great fight . But he would have to juice for a solid year. But he is the best option he has the best bone structure . i think he could gain another 80lbs but not sure he wants it bad enough to go that far.

He simply may be untouchable at this point in his career. He's the undisputed King, and has nothing left to prove IMO. Then again, so few athletes ever retire on top. So anything is possible. But because the "AW math" is all over the place with respect to most of the contenders you cite, e.g., Kurdecha beats Ermes, but Ermes beats Genadi, then Genadi beats Chaffee, but Chaffee beats Kurdecha, and, of course, Levan had already destroyed Chaffee, it's impossible to know if any of them have a chance against Levan! And if Levan's movie career takes off, it's hard to see the incentive to continue to maintain that level of fitness for a sport that offers so little - except the glory of the battle and being number one in the world. BTW, I think "Ulysses' Arm" is a perfect name for your upcoming documentary, regardless of what Ruaridh may think!

If someone like Brian Shaw went under the tutelage of Devon For a few years, he would probably be our best bet. And honestly for aging strongmen, armwrestling would be a great sport to transition to. You can do it well into old age compared to deadlifting 1200 pounds.
