Levan was very relaxed during this match. He was obviously making sure not to waste energy. Some people had doubts about his gas tank after the Ermes match. After watching this, I think it's safe to say that Levan learned his lesson. The man is an absolute beast

Devon closed that gap a tiny bit, but that was not even enough. Again, and Devon would beat Michael convincingly. So in conclusion, Michael has to become 20-30% stronger if not more.
The best thing was that you couldn’t hear Jodi because the crowd was too loud.

Refrees did their best in this match. Not so much in the setup (its a difficult job when Devon is involved) but their foul calls were on point.
Engin does a great job of backing and empowering the referees so that that they could judge without intimidation and stand by their decisions if needed.

But my respect for him has now increased more than before because of that journey due to which he got a chance for a rematch with Levan. Levan absolute dominate
The weakness that affected Devon during his whole career is the lack of strength, which he amazingly filled with endurance , expertise, tactics, mind games and whatever can be used in an armwrestling match. I still believe if Devon would have trained focusing just on strength and strength only he could have had a chance...
This was very similar as in Levan's match with Laletin at TOP 8. Laletin was able to resist against Levan statically for a short time, but it has taken much more from him than his opponent so the following rounds were a sweep. In the first round Devon's position was so high that Levan probably couldn't apply his strength without losing the hand, so his decision to flop-press just shows he was completely under control mentally, while Devon was loosing his mind. Levan has soooo much more than just brute strength on his side, deservingly the top of the pack.
