      from the formula of operating frequency of the microstrip patch antenna. frequency is determined by the relative permittivity of dielectric and length of patch

      Thanks for the response. I have used the radiation box dimensions as double the dimensions of x,y and z. This is to allow enough space for radiation

    sir this video is very helpful thank you. sir may I know can we fabricate patch antenna on different substrates? bcz somebody told me tht substrates are very costly(other than FR4) and unavailable in India. If you have any idea let me know even fabricators address

      Yes, There are other substrates which are costly. In India also there are fabrications but limited.

    2nd question ,i designed an antenna and i find that the input impedence is more than 50 ohm , it's about 160 ohm
    how can i optimize it too ?

    Hello Sir!
    I was wondering in 9:34 of this video how did you go about determining how much of the patch you had to cut out? was there a technique/formula to this or did you just assume the amount to cut. Similarly, did you assume the length and width of the feed you attached, or is there an equation to determining this.

      Thanks for the response. Antenna can be taken as source. Apply to the rectifier circuit. Use Advanced Design System tool.

    Finally minute result--- create far field report---- rectangular plot option is pressed, so open a window there is no "sweep" option, the laptop is windows 11, so last graph is not available, what is the reason?

      @@kalyannelli5834 patch has edge impedance of z=240 ohms. So use the inset feed to balance the impedance to z=50 ohms. So started the feed in x direction.

      That's means you have not designed properly or missed any of the steps
