Thank you for this nice tutorial. I'd like to remark at 18:25: QW, meaning quarter wavelength, is set to 15 mm. However at 10 GHz we have a wavelength of 30 mm, so QW should be 7.5 mm to avoid confusion. Of course, the air box can be higher than 7.5 mm. In the tutorial the hight is hence half a wavelength, i.e. 15 mm.

I think the only thing lacking is to explain how to display the result plots (S11 and Realized Gain), that would be a good addition. Maybe instead of making a whole new movie you could just add an explanation in the video description?

Hi Kyle, I am designing an antenna array and I am having some trouble when performing the impedance matching of the feeding network. Mostly because when designing one element I didnt need to put the port in the substrate but on the edge. Therefore, I decided to use lumped ports using a terminal solution type. But, when I want to obtain the impedance it is fixed on a value. Even though I specified NOT to renormalize the terminals. Should I be using another port? Or maybe my terminal solution data report (mag(Zot(1,1)) and mag(Zot(2,2))) is wrong? Thanks in advance.

right click on Results in your Project Manager -> create terminal solution data report -> rectangular report a screen will pop out. choose whatever you want and then click new report. The figures will show on your main workspace

+SUMIT PRATAP SINGH I suspect the port(s) is on the boundary of the simulation, inset it from the edge and the simulation should work.
