@LyndseyT11 So glad you found it helpful. It's still fairly new. Looks like the ASUS and other laptops are making the rounds first. What specs did you order? Any discounts yet?
@@techknowlux no discounts, but I got the 4070, 1tb SSD and 16gb of ram. I will say that now that I saw your other vid calling out the dim screen, I’m having some second thoughts. I don’t plan to game outside or anything, but 300 nits is pretty low compared to others out there.
@@LyndseyT11i just picked up the same one so far it runs ok i didnt want to spend 1600 dollars but if i can do what i need it to do i have no issues on specs.
been binge watching M16R2 videos. Planning to get one potentially on a black friday deal in Canada. Any thoughts you'd like to share about your machine? Personally, I never thought of getting RAM and SSD separately. I just figured "hey for an extra 200 I can double my storage" lol
Hey dude I plan on getting the Alienware M18 but maybe next year when they have better screen options they seem to be a excellent overall package and with the added mux switch this year in Alienware command centre they just keep getting better and better just missing that pretty good screen option as they already have advanced Optimus mux switch Nvidia G-sync all the ports you could ask for a mechanical keyboard built into the laptop good cooling and good upgradability with windows hello face unlock it’s literally only the screen that’s missing the premium package hoping for this next year nice video man!
@Parky-pm2sg Glad you enjoyed the video. The screen was the main issue for me as well. That's why it didn't end up becoming my daily driver. I knew that much better screen options were coming in this year so I held out for an 18" laptop with a killer display. Right now I've got my sights set on the MSI Stealth Studio 18. Check out the specs on that. It seems to tick every box. Leave some to be desired in terms of the design, build quality and perhaps overall fit and finish and look and feel, but functionally and specs-wise it seems to hit all the right boxes. Especially a Mini-LED 18" 4K 120Hz display.
Thank you for talking about this laptop. I just ordered it, and I can’t find hardly any reviews or unboxings!
