This came at a good time as I've been researching the best estate to live as I need the best location to retire in Nigeria, between Lagos, Abuja and Ibadan. Fantastic video Steven! Well done!!
Abuja is wack and BORING unless you have business with the government. People retiring to Nigeria want to have a beach! Want to enjoy lifestyle changes, people in Nigeria don’t get it and are typically very boring themselves hence why they think Abuja is nice when it’s the most boring place to live!
Abuja for peace, tranquillity, green spaces and good quality of life, Lagos for more exciting life, beaches, top restaurants, vibrant nite life, good food and parties. Since you are coming from the West, Lagos Island is best 4 you eg Lekki, Ikoyi, Banana island

Eko Atlantic first building was in 2017 (eko pearl tower) now they have up to 9 buildings, is it not impressive like that? Why must u guys always look for one or two ways to bring negativity
Hahaha.. because that's what the USA media wants you to see. All they do is creating negative image of Africa. Every country in the world has luxurious cities and some suburbs that are not really developed, same applies to African countries.
This is what they do with our common wealth. There is no way salary earners can live in any of these estates, unless they steal, one way or another. May God help us.
Garages??? What ever for?? No Lil Meep, car ports would suffice! What is the use of a garage when you want to show off your posh expensive cars to the neighbours?? But to be fair to Nigeria, we don’t necessarily have a parking problem in our residential areas , that’s because most houses often have a lot of space in the compounds! Nowadays, even in the UK and elsewhere, garages are often converted into home extensions!
Yeah? But I heard that Indians live in some of these areas and don’t allow Kenyans to live amongst them ! I was even shocked that the famous Matatus in Nairobi are owned and built by the Indians, what a shame!
Every time I watch one of these videos about life in Nigeria, I realise how ahead South Africa is compared to most other African countries. I’m not trying to downplay Nigeria in anyway, it’s nice to see our nations developing, more especially African countries where black people dominate other races in terms of wealth…But if I’m being honest, none of these luxurious estates would make it in the top 100 in South Africa, the designs are a bit too basic and bland. Great video nonetheless, very informative.
South Africa was built up by a white European mindset and white money investments! It was built to reflect their European industrial revolution heritage on conquered African soil. Such was their hold on the country , socially, economically and politically, that our fellow black Africans were sidelined to townships and kraals in bantustans ! White South Africans firmly( wrongly) believed they would dominate the country for ever! I am old enough to remember the horror we in Nigeria felt, when we heard Black South Africans had to carry passes to walk about in the city centres . Ironically, Nigeria committed some serious petrodollars to fight against the brutal apartheid regimes for decades! Maybe that’s where we went wrong, because moneys used to fight for the liberation of Angola, Rhodesia (Zimbabwe),Southwest Africa(Namibia) and South Africa should have been used to build up our country! Today Black South Africans seem to have forgotten all that! Now they are claiming all of what was built by the whites as their own , well good for them! Better estates or not, Nigeria makes more sense to me! We are what we are, we are who we are ! We didn’t entertain white colonialists for too long in Nigeria! And indeed Britain too, did not encourage a settler class like they did in East and South Africa! And that’s good enough for us ! Because we own our entire growth process! Nowadays, I hear Black South Africans actually trying to ape/mimic and speak with the white Afrikaners accent, and I cringe! Steve Biko must be turning in his grave . I would choose Kenya, Ghana and Tanzania any day over South Africa! Just saying!👊🏾🇳🇬
And unto them who haveth more shall be added.....and to the bonzos who do not have, even the little that they have will be taken away because they woefully failed to double the investment the Good Lord had entrusted unto them!!

Eko Atlantic first building was in 2017 (eko pearl tower) now they have up to 9 buildings, is it not impressive like that? Why must u guys always look for one or two ways to bring negativity
God bless my hustle. I need such in my life. I need to be rich.
How about emperor estate and Mayfair garden estate
These are the exclusives.
Buying a few mansions soon.
Underground electric cables, internet and street lights makes a place beautiful...... They should try that.
true, that is what really make the western world attractive to foreigners from developing continent like africa
@@bamikai.w1383 you can hardly see cables in SA.... As connected the country is.... Cables are underground, but that goes with proper town planning
I bet you didn't listen to Amen estate. You just described Amen estate at Eleko. The estate Jennifer diary lives.
Some estates in Nigeria are built like that.
This place looks good
Would love you doing this for Abuja also
So beautiful! In U.S., African cities appear poor and famine.
are you okay?
nigerians pay in cash not credit like the u.s
Hahaha.. because that's what the USA media wants you to see. All they do is creating negative image of Africa. Every country in the world has luxurious cities and some suburbs that are not really developed, same applies to African countries.
Nice video but there those gutters need to be closed. No point having them open.
This is what they do with our common wealth. There is no way salary earners can live in any of these estates, unless they steal, one way or another. May God help us.
Who affords these mansions. Can a registered nurse working in the UK afford one of these.
Not true at all. U just need to work hard. So many people who are not thrives live in these rich areas in Nigeria
@@slimeworld8703 work hard till you die abi? I'll rather work smart
@@muchilamwamona293 yes Mma, I think so, but do some research. The amount he is mentioning can be affordable to an average hardworking person.
So to you all the people living in estates are stealing from which common wealth, i beg park well.
Magnificent update
one thing that I noticed, why non of these houses have garages?
That’s the way building are done here
Nowadays, even in the UK and elsewhere, garages are often converted into home extensions!
nice
my dream
Nice video and well done 👍 ......but the narrator pronounced the word “ typical” gave me chills and a slight headache😆😭
Well documented ! A new subscriber here.
God will make a way, when there is no way , make a way, where we can Org
Bro pls go check port Harcourt let's see the best real estate there
Will be there soo
You people need to visit Nairobi, Kenya and see how rich suburbs look like
Was it built by Kenya people?
Yeah? But I heard that Indians live in some of these areas and don’t allow Kenyans to live amongst them !
I was even shocked that the famous Matatus in Nairobi are owned and built by the Indians, what a shame!
You can do the video about Nairobi as well. This is about Lagos with all due respect..
Nice videos but let your prices be in dollars .thanks
And unto them who haveth more shall be added.....and to the bonzos who do not have, even the little that they have will be taken away because they woefully failed to double the investment the Good Lord had entrusted unto them!!
Love
bro this is ojoro you didn't put Gowon Estate Egbeda LOL. nice video
