Potassium Polyacrylate (HIDROSILO) vs. Sodium Polyacrylate - Grass Germination Test

In this video, we show a comparative test of grass seed germination in the hydrogel containing 1% HIDROSILO (potassium polyacrylate) and 1% Sodium Polyacrylate. It is an easy test to employ that you can use to prove which is the best planting gel for agricultural use. Our objective is to show that Industrial Sodium Polyacrylate, used in personal hygiene, is not suitable for agricultural applications, despite being sold in the commerce as such, pure or mixed with limestone, for price reduction.
The real polymer for the production of planting gel is potassium and non-sodium-based Polyacrylates. Watch our videos and understand why.

Sodium polyacrylate doesn’t contain any nutrients to support growth whereas hidrosilo has added nutrients, that is the reason we see difference in growth
