i love stephen for so many reasons, the main being he doesnt need wide open shots to score, he doesnt need to break ankles to score (although he can whenever he wants), all he needs is about 2 ft of room and theres no stopping him

He shoots like a spring, he gathers the energy from his feet through his ARM to his hand, one sweet motion. This is a result of shooting countless jumpers man . Practice and hardwork does payoff kids !
stephen curry has such a sweet jumper great handles and an underrated passer.
He needs to improve on the defensive end and most of all needs to stay healthy.

I have never seen someone hate on someone who just broke ray allens record and he shoots with one hand using the other to assist in terms of guidance JUST like ray allen. Also they may look wild but he is at a level were they look open because his release is so quick.

i know how good paul, rose, rondo, etc are but when you talk about the best pg in the game today, stephen this year proved he deserves to be in that topic. plus he stretches the defense with his jumpshot and hes butter if you go under a screen with him and he can pass... hardest player to guard except lebron in the open court.... real shit lol

Ray allen back when he was in the supersonics did all that and more don't forget and he still show signs of that just not alot. You must be young or forgetful if you think he's just a spot up shooter. He use to be a superstar on supersonics.

He does, but at times I think he feels that he doesn't need to. He still makes them without doing it though.
Ehh I still think CP3 combines a little bit of all the top PG's best attributes making him the best. He has the scoring of D-Rose, the play-making of Rondo, great shooter although not quite Stephen Curry shooter, great defense, leadership, ability to deliver in the clutch, and underrated athleticism.

Curry's basketball skills were not god-given. What was god-given to him, though, was his initiative and intentness to be great
...I totally understand your point. Just want to bring out the fact that it has been proven that squaring the feet to the basket is illogical. It makes more sense to square the shoulder and hip, and turn the feet, which aligns the ball to the basket. This seems to be Curry's approach and, as we can tell, it works.

I love Ray Allen, but Curry is honestly the greatest shooter in NBA history.
I hate how all the commentators are saying he has the sweetest jumper in the league. Ray Allen still plays doesn't he? And anyways Curry's shot couldn't be more the opposite; he's like that kid on the team that shoots with two hands, makes every shot and gets all cocky about it. Never seen someone chuck up as many wild threes as he does

For a guy who claims to know Ray Allen, that last sentence contradicts that. Everyone knows to make a lot of threes, you need to take a lot of threes. Ray Allen took a lot of 3s, that's why he's on top of the record book, Curry takes a lot of threes, and yet so far in their respective best 3point seasons, Curry has taken less 3s than Ray. Shoulda seen him play in his pre-celtics days, talk about chuck. But hey, that's why he's at the top.
Stephen curry and kyrie are different types of scoring pgs than rose and westbrook .. I think curry's and Irving are funner to watch cuz there so much skill as compared to raw athleticism.. both are affective tho

As a scorer yes, Ray Allen could do it all and wasn't one dimensional. But as a shooter, especially from 3, Ray Allen was used in spot ups, off screens, and taking advantage in transition when pulling up(Just like Curry). But never was he breaking defenders down, crossing them, and then pull up off the dribble from 25+ AND shoot 45% from 3. That's where people nab Curry above all other shooters before him. He shoots as erratically(maybe more) than the next guy, but is miles more efficient.
