Every case has its own journey, but the goal is always the same: to bring answers to those who have spent years wondering and waiting. For Steve’s family, that wait is now over. In this final chapter, we take you through the emotional process of discovery, the recovery of Steve’s vehicle, and the heartfelt moments shared with his family. This isn’t just a resolution; it’s the beginning of healing for those left behind. Thank you all for your support!
I've watched Doug since he first started with doing the rescues. I am so proud he has continued to help people find their loved ones. Thank you to Doug, Dave and everyone that made this recovery possible.
I think he started out as a tow operator helping another channel that does this. Then got trained to dive and went on his own when the other channel had issues.
I lost my father about 20 years ago. He was working on a shrimping boat and fell off while working off the coast of Louisiana. The Coast Guard search for him but never recovered a body. His body was lost forever to the ocean. This video hits me in so many ways. Making my donation for Doug and hope he can solve more cases. God bless us all!
I’m sorry for your loss many of my former shipmates have been lost aT sea most were fortunate enough to be recovered. My heart always aches thinking about situations like yours

@traceyboutilier6713 I was kind of hoping that maybe he got out of a broken window but then again if he was always with Steven it's a bittersweet ending for both of them.
Thank you. We lost a son . Blessed a farmer responding to our poster campaign found him after six days. Our hearts feel for this family. We understand.

I'm in New Zealand and even though I'm so far away and insignificant I felt emotionally invested in this case 😢 seeing Dave fighting back those tears hurt .
Rob you are not insignificant we all have purpose in this world some find what that is some don't but it is my belief that we are right were we are suppose to be at each moment of our life. "everyone brings joy in there life to some when we arrive and others when we leave" lol
Just sent Doug a few dollars via his link below. Thank you so much, all of you, for all you do for these families. It means the world. Blessings and much love to you all! Stay safe!
I don’t particularly care for Doug. He likes to hog the camera and when they were recovering a body in the Northeast, he told the Medical Examiner that he was the best in the world at what he does. He had maybe been with AWP for 9 months. He had been a diver for about a year. There are many, many divers more qualified. I like people that are humble. Plus, they used to ask for money from poor people even when they had more than enough.
I joined a search and rescue organization and am training with my german shepherd to be a k9 team and a lot of the motivation came from watching Doug's video it inspired me to help people in the same way.
Thanks to Dave and the Sparks Family for helping Doug bring this man home to his family. These self-less humanity videos are the best, what keeps me watching.
It is so wonderful the hearts you, Doug, all your men have to put your love, time, money etc., into helping these families. You all are a God sent to those in need. Thank you for all you do and for the love you show.
Like you HeavyDSparks............I'm at a loss for words. Thank you and DougBishop for doing what you do and bringing closure to the family. It was a very heartfelt moment when hearing you had found his vehicle and then watching this video was just amazing. My heart goes out to you all and to the family.
Men's mental health is a REAL issue, and this just goes to show it always has been.... Love to his family and his Son, this is hard but not knowing is even harder.. May they start to find some peace and finally start to grieve. Thank you to all who didn't quit on this man and his family! His life and his story matters!
Way to go! I wish you'd help Josh cantu. AWP is making his life miserable, attacking him with a new baby. It's awful. The video he showed of them being evil makes my blood boil.
Just watched this. Im in the Uk and as a 56 year old man you people, i say people as teams came together again, brought me to tears. Mr D you, your team and Dougs channels help so many people. I salute you all. Love Tony K Dev❤
Doug you are amazing!! This family so deserved this answer as to where their loved has been for 20 long years..I couldn’t even imagine!! Was his dog found as well? Gosh this is so soo sad!!
Thank you all that helped in this recovery. May this will help the family. Now on another matter this parking lot needs barriers so this doesn't happen again. All areas should have barriers so no family has to go through this pain .

God bless you Dave and Sparks team, Doug and team and all who helped bring closure to the family 🙏 our prayers are with Stevens family and friends. Just donated to United Search Corps 👍

❤ Absolutely amazing. Doug you are a true warrior. You set your heart, mind to find these missing people, they will never be forgotten. It's amazing when people come together to make these things happen. To help the families find closure in finding their missing loved one. I'd like to thank Heady D and his crew of many, and the authorities working with Doug in order to bring Steve home to his family after 20 years.
It’s a shame too because I also followed that other channel from their beginning so I remember Doug’s beginning and he’s just really good at this yet he has the heart and soul for it also. I am surprised that he hasn’t blown up on his own yet but watching his journey he seems to help everyone around him, I wish him nothing but Godspeed and for him to fulfill his journey. It’s just such a shame the other channel and what he ended up being.
Great job Doug, also Dave and his team, and everyone else involved. ❤ My prayers go out to the family and loved ones of Steven 💞 May he rest in peace now. ❤

@donnanewman9571 watch Josh Cantu's last video. Doug was at the forefront in 2022 because Jared was hiding. He knew charges were coming and tried to distance himself from the spotlight.
Congratulations and thank you's to everyone involved in bringing Steven home...as Doug says, it isn't closure per se, but brings answers that may help lead to closure for family and friends. If I ever have a down day thinking the world bites, I just have to think of you all and realize no, it really doesn't, not when there are folks like this in it! Wellness to all!
