I wish, this statement would be true :( My opinion is the same though - You guys deserve to grow because your content is amazing!
But the sad reality is, that channels with very mixed content grow way slower than channels that focus on one specific topic. You can see it everywhere. From Vlogs to Gaming to Tech - All big channels have their own niche topic and channels with very diverse content struggle to get the algorithm to "boost" them by suggesting their videos to other people.
That's what I was gonna say the same thing as well, instead I got excited to watch this one haha because of the last video of when they bought the building, I almost bought a shed in the same situation the other week because of @HeavyDSparks lol. Keep it up brother!

PSA will take about roughly 3-4 months (maybe sooner) to grade and seal up sent cards! I hope to see a update as well but we will definitely have to wait a little bit.
Well you know the card guy did, he knows cards, it’s his life, it’s like a pawn shop, I almost know for sure he knows he will get at least twice his money if not 4x for sure. But the cool thing is they didn’t have to do anything except go to him for 28k and not mess with it.
27 G's was a pretty bad lowball offer lol. Those card guys will make 65gs at the low end. Probably more like 90 - 100. And if the good baseball cards get a decent PSA rating, whew... A ton more than that.

@@silentassasin741 true, it very well could take a while, but theres a reason small trading card stores exist. They sit on super rare cards until they find somebody rich and crazy enough to pay for them. They also wouldn't sell the cards for 90k as a bundle, they would sell each card individually, and the amount they would make could vary quite a bit, but it would be a hell of alot more than 27gs They also don't tell anybody they have those cards, to avoid robberies, that's why you never see them when you go into these stores.

Collecting since a kid, 45 now...based on what I saw I'd say he triples that amount easily! They previous owner had some VERY good cards !
I definitely would have had them graded and sold after that because I’m still working towards the big bands but once I get there I’ll definitely be like D and spread the wealth to people to support their hustles. That’s how it should be when you got money. He’s for sure making 50k + off those cards . Much respect for letting them eat off that. He’s a real leader and inspiration to a lot of people. He would spend every penny of his wealth if there was a chance it could save our planet.

New subscriber here, been on a HeavyD marathon all day having fun forgetting the world for a day and this one took me back. My older brother started collecting cards back in 1960. He kept them in Velvetta cheese boxes, I remember the top shelf of his closet being full of boxes from one end to the other.
I asked him, about 15yrs ago if he passed his card down to his sons, he told me he threw them out. I was speechless.
I'm addicted to the personality of everyone on this channel, I never have just sat down and binge watched 8 nearly 40m videos in a row but I can't stop. Keep the positive vibes and grind going, better watch out Pewdiepie cause HeavyDSparks is coming for that title.
Seeing all the excitement you guys had opening and finding good cards took me back to when I was younger and was buying packs of cards. That feeling of finding a valuable was addicting. Keep on making great videos guys. Can’t wait to see what’s posted next.

Yea, the great thing about him is that he isn't getting greedy. He knows when to walk away. Just like the guy with the warehouse. The warehouse guy COULD have made this exact money, but he also could not, because he is old and doesn't have the time and energy to go though this stuff. Same thing with the cards: Not the time, not the energy to exploit the cards through to their fullest potential. Might as well give them to a professional and take the offer of 28k and move on to the next gig.
always leave something in it for the next guy, no one ever got poor from giving. Also - he does so much other stuff that makes him an income, getting them graded, advertised, sold and shipped as someone that doesnt know much about them... probably closer to 60-80k and a lot of time when he might be doing other stuff that earns him more or that he enjoys more

I would go back with a huge dumpster, instead of turfing all the crap on the floor , file the JUNK in the dumpster and find that other box of cards its there , you just need to find it. I used to do salvage in the mid 80's and learned how to 'wheel and deal' with all sorts of stuff from various industries, from military, medical, and marine, to commercial electrical & transformers, boilers to printing presses, and much more. I compiled a database of buyers and brokers. Some in CA, the rest scattered around the USA. I also went to about 12 - 20 trade shows of many diverse industries almost every year for near 30 years, so I have connections all over the planet, as well! Now that I live near these guys (just down the 15 a bit), I'm willing to help them in some way.

Hell yeah. When I was around 11 or 12 I had a huge snare drum case filled to the top with old cards that were unfortunately stolen from our storage shed. Really makes me wonder how much they were actually worth.
