It's good for the family that their loved ones were found and given the proper send off. I would have liked to know HOW they were found, where, under what circumstances, the way most of AWP searches are finished. After eight videos and the same type of search each video one is expecting the final video to wrap up the search with the discovery or at least a summary of the discovery. I love AWP but this could have been a two part story.

The Buffalo County Sheriff's Office said the couple was found on Saturday after a citizen called about a vehicle that was stuck on a minimum maintenance road north of 100th and Keystone Road on Saturday afternoon.
Deputies located the vehicle and confirmed that it belonged to the Proctors, the sheriff's office said in a news release.

Unless there's cattle to check, a minimum maintenance road isn't going to be used for a while after a snow storm. The snow blows for a long way on the Plains, and drifts a lot. After one storm a few years ago, the snow drift behind the cedar trees was as high as the trees.
I've seen drifts hundreds of feet long behind a single tractor tire.
Where they turned east on highway 30 on day 1, it looks like the Procters missed the turn, they were only a few miles north.
It makes sense, the light in Minden likely stopped them, and they saw the signs for Kearney and i80. Go through there daily, and I can never catch the light green going west.

I want to thank AWP for sticking with this case, and for pouring so much time and energy on the Proctor case. It was inevitable that there would be a case that other searchers would solve before AWP could locate them. It doesn't diminish anyone's contribution in the least. Thanks guys, for being there, and for supporting the family and local authorities. Your efforts are a shining example of what it means to be humane to your fellow humans. Thanks for restoring my faith in humanity.

They weren't found by a team. AWP was especially useful for a place like Nebraska because there's no wooded areas, mountains, etc. that would hide them. They'd either be out in the open, or underwater. And being out in the open meant soon and inevitably someone driving by would spot them, which is what happened.

I'm very happy for the family but it's also why I enjoy watching adventures with purpose. They go that extra mile you know to go underwater or and check all these lakes and we didn't get to see the end results. Beautiful tribute to the family and they went together. Rest in peace if it has a viewer. Disappointed in the ending. I hope the family members do not take this personal. It's just that we were riding along with Jared and Bill and just waiting for that lake that they it'll all the equipment they have and discover in the excitement for them and us. It's like were there with them and we didn't get to see that final search.

Jared. You have a true gift. Keep doing what you're doing. I could tell you a long story about volunteer work in a nursing home and being blamed for things i didnt do. Everyone except the elderly people who truly knew my heart threw shame on me. The staff told the families i was bad news. Then one month after my friend Regina passed away i was given the gift she promised she would send my way once she left the earth
A sweet caring man! I wasnt even allowed to be on the assisted living property for months prior. But we spoke on the phone every day and she was determined to make things right for how i had been treated, even by her own family. And she sure did a month after she passed a very random event took place! I guess my point is that we earthlings are a small part of what's happening. Im sure the souls of those who you are searching for are so delighted to be part of your story and your success. But its your efforts that have made this happen. Please keep doing what you do!!

However, like my family members or many other families that are stuck in time. They remember how strong and capable their parents were when they were in their youth then leave them to carryout the impossible based on their past life experiences of strength, courage, and clarity. I pray that the situation concerning your family members not fade but their lives and the incident would used as a tool for community outreach and awareness that would benefit not only for a special watch and care for seniors but for all neighbors especially, for the most vulnerable. 🙏

So happy they were found for the family to have closure. I am kind of disappointed in not knowing how they were found. But AWP made lots of people aware of this couple disappearance.and that helped. Their hard work and dedication to finding them is so amazing as all the cases they have found lost loved ones for families. AWP is so appreciated by me and respected for all they do and have done. God Bless them.

This was very sad to see. Being someone who lost their soulmate I'm glad to know that they went together. Being the one left here alone is not a fun journey and they didn't have to face this world without the love of their live. This is how we had always wanted to go, together. My heart goes out to the family but they have the comfort of knowing know that they are together forever.

    • @jordan180

@@sara54501It doesn’t seem like cause of death has been publicly released. They know that Bob was in the car and Loveda had fallen down 100 yards outside the car near a tree. She left a note in the car that said “Call Victor”, which is their son. It was January when they went missing and the car was out of gas when they found it, so most likely they died of hypothermia. They were older snd weaker, so probably more susceptible to hypothermia than a healthy younger person. Very sad.

People only found them as fast as they did, because of this channel. Many folks in Nebraska went out searching because of the coverage. anyone that has ever done hauls through Nebraska while trucking knows that the MINIMUM Maintenence roads are VERY deceptive and not clearly marked. Most people write them off as a visual "yellow sign" that is something entirely different than what they actual mean. Especially for an older person with bad eye sight. new marker types should be created for this reason.
