- This was our previous search for Bunnie Lee and Janet Walsh, little did we know, it would be our last search for both lost loved ones.
During this search, we began at far outside of our typical search radius. We searched Pymatuning Lake, Conneaut Lake, Shenango River, and began searching the upper portion of the Allegheny River. We were joined by Ride or Dive, Depths of History, and Cooper’s Amputee Lifestyle.
Both Bunnie and Janet were found in the Allegheny River, outside of search area. We did find other vehicles, but unfortunately, not those of the missing.
Bunnie, who disappeared on November 13, 2013 in his Mazda was discovered by the Murrysville Dive Team on June 30th, 2024 while working on training exercises.

Janet Walsh, who had seemingly vanished without a trace on January 20, 2020 in Chevy Trax was found on July 21, 2024 by a fisherman. Janet’s vehicle and remains were recovered by the Monroeville Dive team.

I think the word is getting out to fishermen with sonar on their boats to keep an eye out for vehicles! Without them, Bunnie Lee and Janet Walsh would still be missing. I find it....um.....simply amazing that you dedicate your lives and resources to finding missing persons " to bring them home " There is no question of Colour or Religion. No question of a Good person or a Bad person. No question of Male, Female or any other identification. It's a question of a Missing Family Member who needs to be united again with their Loved Ones! This is very humbling, especially for me. I'm very old and have not helped Humanity in any way I can think of. I want to help you guys, but I live across the world in Wales. You were in my neck of the woods and didn't know it. We have a camper in Pymatuning as well as a pontoon docked on that lake. Thank you for covering these stories. Until I saw the AWP episode, I didn't know Janet and Bunny were missing, and, I live in the general area. It's really almost unbelievable how close they were both found. Not very far apart at all.
Im in the area also. I was shocked they were so close together. I didnt imagine that being the case when they said they found 2 cars there.

What factors do you think contributed to them being found by others instead of your efforts? Were they simply out of the search areas or farther from entry points? Were they in locations you searched but didn't see the cars?
I appreciate all that you do. It makes a difference.
Murrysville Medic One found it right after locating the fishing pole of a child. Adventues With Purpose did a brief search of Butler Street where Bunnie Lee was found. They did not seem to like how shallow the river got where Butler Street comes in. Murrysville Medic One Dive team gets across western and Central Pa they get into southern Ohio some, western Maryland, and into the north east of West Virginia at times on emergency calls. Them out practicing their skills for emergency calls of assistance is what led them to finding Bunnie. And honestly I believe Janet was by luck. I believe they would have probably found Janet if she hadn’t been found.

Hello 👋 Lindsay, Jacob, Eric & Britain. I've been so busy with my guy who had a major stroke 9 weeks ago, and dealing with the death of my 75 ye. Old school friend and neighbor. That was a week ago. I found him. Bad experience. Thats so sad. May they both rest in Paradise forever, knowing they are and were loved.

I'm just finding you guys thanks to AWP. I live on the Allegheny within an hour of the locations you were at. We find a lot of bodies in this river, normally only once they've surfaced and someone has reported them. We also have a lot of dumping in some places. I'm thrilled to see someone has actually taken the time to visit and take a look around. We have a case here that I've often wondered if it could be solved if someone did a good sweep of the river. The work you do is so important, especially in little places like this. Thank you.
